Classic Volkswagens have a unique smell unto themselves ... Can only imagine what this Beetle must smell like inside - the damp musties ... Slainte' ! Cheers !
Great recovery! Very cool, looks to be a 75 1200 model. Here in the states this was "called" the 110 model, it was still the most base model you could get but had the fuel injected engine.
I was going to look at that but they said you where collecting it , good ya saved it mate well done, as ive got too bloody many ya saved me getting another
In 1972 that would have been one groovy bug in bright orange.Nice looking Morris 8 there too.I had two about 50 years ago. I'd love another, especially a tourer but the asking price here in Australia is crazy high.

ps greetings for California
Thanks 👍
💪💯
Nice work getting that thing out. Quite a bit of work. You lucked out with only having one really sticky drum, eh?!
Thanks
Left hand drive. Interesting
Wow as if someone just abandoned the poor bug
Thats not too bad really considering it's been in a garden for 25 year's seems pretty solid still.
Is the '58 up for grabs?
Unfortunately not we did ask 😅
Darren or (Woody) is getting his VW Beetle Bounty for sure 👍
🪵😅
I will hope to see you get it running
Another saved bug
Indeed
Wow it is a base beetle
Been sat some time
That base 1200 non Belgium spec could actually be a 6 volt. Unbelievably, VW were still selling base spec ones like that in 74/5
How could I check if it is a 6 volt
If the battery is missing, check one of the bulbs, relays or maybe the wiper motor.
Hoping that those Headlight ' Cups ' are not Rusted badly as it has a Threaded metal inside for Securing the Headlight Assembly.
Every week a new one
So what is the count now?
Please lets see a shop tour!
There is a ‘T’ in the word Beetle !😊
Haha I’ll have to practice 🤣
Oh bugger. No engine.
