Not sure that ones worth saving. Putting another shell on it makes it a different car all together. Maybe from the window line up if grafted onto a separate body it could still be classified same car. Whatever the case i try to watch the getting it running and rebuilding it. Cool video
What's up, you already have a new follower, and it's really surprising to know that you found an automatic vw, I stay and many of us are waiting for the restoration process, greetings from her Southeast of Mexico.
Problem with automatics is there are differences where the engine hooks up too so you can't convert it to a three speed. I'm kinda curious about what a "shell" is ? A whole new body ? Doesn't that make this one a parts car ? Doors, front sheet metal where the shocks hook up to all shot...everything. I'd take the glass, speedo, brake assembly, steering, wheels and send the rest back to the crusher. I'd think you could buy a running Superbeetle with good floors for far less than what that's going to cost to rebuild...
A lot of respect here. To most people, this car is not worth restoring. Heck, it’s barely a parts car. Kudos to you, if you want to bring this car back to its former glory!
Esse carro que vocês usam vermelho como reboque aqui no Brazil foi muito vendido e até os dias de hoje são muitos procurados. Aqui no Brazil ele saiu com o nome de Kadet
A few parts like glass, wheels, small clips or trim. That's about it. Let it live on that way. Not all can be saved. Bummer. Poor "Bumble Bee" didn't have a chance.
That is a seriously rare car, a 1303S automatic in right hand drive, was it originally bought in the UK or is it a personal import? In my 40 years working on bugs I have only even seen one other, in Sumatra Green. I have had my 1302LS auto for 40 years now but it has been in bits in my garage for 25 years. If you need any help on the auto box side I know the system inside out and evwparts has quite a lot of 001 box parts.
Steering wheel is on the wrong side... :) That's a lot of welding... Tires, engineering marvels... You could get it off the trailer piece by piece.. :)
What ever happened to this car? I restored a 1303 that while not quite as bad as this one, was not really that far. It took a HUGE amount of time, effort, and money but I am glad I followed through and had it completed! I looked on your channel and see quite a few rescues but wondered if this one was restored.
hi this beetle is inside our unit next to the shutter. You may be able to see it in some of our other videos. We have been holding back on doing this one since we have so many bugs and i don't really know how the automatic beetles work. Although as it has been sat waiting to be fixed i have collected lots of parts including a solid body which should make the resto lots easier.
Such rust piles are only good for their paperwork with clean title. Some glass, gearbox and maybe one or two other bits are saveable. Rest is too far gone
Not sure what value an automatic Super Beettle could have, but I'm pretty sure THAT automatic Super Bettle has none. Maybe if it was in some movie or was driven by a celebrity or something, it would've been worth putting in the effort, but that thing is completely rotten away. You could cut the body from the center line up and maaaaaaaybe try saving some other bits and pieces, but, again, it's an auto Super Beettle...

This one is definitely from the Extra Crispy category 😂🤣
Bravo. You are a true lover of these cars. Good luck in restoring it... And strenght, for huge work that will come.

@@timmyembry5018 What do you not understand? You said "I don t understand a word"...
That's a truly wonderful yard you got that from, I'd love to have a mooch about there!
Love the fact that you rescued this lovely Beetle from death! I absolutely love Beetles and I want one! Well done I’ve just subscribed.
thanks :)

We’ve bought a new body for it but still needs a lot more parts 😅
You cant save this one…. I dont believe this project will ever end… regardless loved the video
Thumbs up from Germany !
I noticed that during the maneuver, the tractor driver took great care not to scratch the beetle's paint....
Yes we don’t like to make them any worse 🤣
@@VWFarm is this possible?

I agree with the costs but that wouldn’t be as much fun 🤣🤣
The automatic gearbox is very rare.If you are looking at car.gr ask for gear box VW 1303and there's one in the city of larisa.thete is no price.
Well, I own an 1972 ex-automatic 1303, converted it to manual shifting arount 2000/2001.
WOW!! BUMBLE BEE GOT COSMIC RUST
A lot of respect here. To most people, this car is not worth restoring. Heck, it’s barely a parts car. Kudos to you, if you want to bring this car back to its former glory!
Oh boy she sure is rough, good luck with that one!
Glad you are putting it in the Garage and keeping a roof on it, because if it gets wet it might start to Rust a bit. :0
My best wishes to be done the VW new again!
Holy shit this is not longer a car this one is totaly crispy🤣
This bug needs a lot of work can’t wait to see it done up
Esse carro que vocês usam vermelho como reboque aqui no Brazil foi muito vendido e até os dias de hoje são muitos procurados.

Well - just take a little care of the rust, some paint job, and the Bug is back on the road! Good luck!
Nice rescue,
If you restore it, every thing can be restored on this planet
OMG! How many cars have you now got?
Is the floor OK
It’s like the flint stones 🤣🤣
Im here in the states and if i found a right hand drive bug even in that shape i would love to have it.
A few parts like glass, wheels, small clips or trim. That's about it. Let it live on that way. Not all can be saved. Bummer. Poor "Bumble Bee" didn't have a chance.
I am really waiting for part two! As ignorant, I would just keep the rims, and dump the rest, for it's rotten away by 40 percent! Good luck again!
The yard should have paid you to take that one.
Glad you sort of got it back in oneish pice 🤣 my Grandma Maud would be proud if you got it running 😁
We are going to try and get it back on the road
Awesome, I’m the long haired scruff in the video 🤣🤣
Love a good pump up trolley lol 🤣🤣🤣
Love it…… I’m catching up to you now… I bought beetle number 3 last night 😁😁🤙🏻🤙🏻
Thanks for your support.
how many beetles have ya got and what ya doing with em ? breaking or saving ?
We save every beetle we get. Hopefully they will all get back on the road 😊
There is a video of this saved beetle restoring? Thanks for give it a second chance.
Well it is a good parts car......Between that one and maybe another car you can make one.
I was thinking the same thing. Strip it catalog it and scrap it.
This one is definitely Extra Crispy 😂🤣
A little weekend work...

Nice video
You save some rare peaces with this one. So well done
it is rough....very, very, very rough. there is some vaguely shaped beatle panels attached to a pile of rust
I would have left this one to rest in peace, but good on you for putting in the effort. Did you want the gearbox?
If we did not buy the bug it would of been crushed
Correction : Rust in pieces ...
Hey Guys Where is the exact location of this scrapyard ? please give me some information i saw some things i need Thank you
So what the plan with this one ?
Hopefully we will be getting it running again. We are buying a shell for it
Steering wheel is on the wrong side... :) That's a lot of welding... Tires, engineering marvels... You could get it off the trailer piece by piece.. :)
A beetle can rust with german thoroughness ☝😉
Omg they did a automatic. I didn’t even know
Got any updates? I would love to see more videos restoring that car :)

Could have swept that off the trailer. Would have saved pumping up the tyres.
Haha
Would rather save the mk2 astra that beetle is rotten as pear.
That beetle isa late model anf metal thickness is bad.
Well...there's "some" rust
Hellow 😁
Тут спасать нечего. Кузов за счет крыши держиться и не распадается.
