I gotta say using the SX with resample is my favorite way to chop n play. Like you say, letting go of the natural imperfections that occur is completely liberating!

so true about the imperfections . I used to try to make perfect quantized loops on the sp 404 and once i stopped the doors opened up.

Yup sometimes it can get a little toooooooo whacky but when it works there’s nothing like working with no grid and no metronome
