You threw us a curve ball on a Wednesday video 👍🏻. That's was a simple spring swap, probably took longer to get stuff ready. Ending measurement looked like 9/16"🤷. ✌🏻
I have an 08 Tahoe. I got it in July. Already had a 3/5 Belltech/DJM drop with belltech springs that were the same as trailblazer springs, with belltech street performance shocks. It got to the point of being SUPER bouncy and at 50 and above, hard to control. Bought new McGaughys shocks 2050s, and new 5" tahoe drop springs. The ride is still bad. What do I do? I am at a loss. When I get home in the AM I will get under there and check my torque on the lower shock mounts and end links.
About to lower my Escalade. I live in clod climate and we have issues with the air ride al the time. Want to do a 3-4/5 drop. Does this or any of your past Yukons bottom out often? I still want a decent ride. My 5/7 drop with a c notch still rides kinda rough on my 17 Silverado.
A vehicles ride quality is from the shock, not the coil spring.Too stiff of a shock will make any ride jarring especially if your tire pressure is too high. If you lower the suspension too much you'll hit the bump stops. Air bags in a coil spring are not the way to go because they are locked without compression when inflated producing no give, which leads to a bone jarring ride.
@@TWAMotorsports thank man I’m getting a good deal from one of my boys and wasn’t sure it was going to fit but since you said it does I’m for sure buying it now apréciate it a lot 🙌
@@TWAMotorsports Travis sorry for bothering you again but since I’m putting them 07-2020 drop springs what helper bags do I supposed to get the 60748 or the 60742 from air lift

The reason you measure from the center of the wheel is to eliminate any variance in tire wear/pressure. That comment was absolutely right and you are technically wrong.
I see you kept the 22” wheels on this one, I like that style wheel about the best of all the factory 20+ wheels.
I really like that wheel
Been rewatching some of your videos. Are you still gonna get a 2 post lift for the shop?
Yes eventually
I wish I could be more like Cam! rock on bud.
Me too lol
How much lower is it with the heater hose mod. If I was to do that to the stock spring just to level the rear would it make a difference?
Maybe 1/2 inch
Can I leave stock spring while leaving the lower brackets for the shocks?
Probably fall out

Didn't mean to. Lol. My measurements were off. Tired and hot

No idea but I have never had that issue
Did you do the back control arm kit to bring them back to level , and new shock extenders and sway bars ?
I juat swapped out springs in this video. Did an original drop video.

Thank you. I am pulling the trigger then.
@akslowroller907 👍
I have a 2016 Tahoe and can anyone tell me the height of the stock rear coil springs?
That spring are no good ?? Because i am like this 🤏 closed to orderd with the helper bags !!
Why cut the spring and not the heater hose 1 side down the middle
Did that before
5/16" is les than 1/2" , 1/2" is equivalent to 8/16" so it DROPPED 3/16"
I know. Tired and hot equals mistakes. Lol

Tried adjusting the shock first
I’m on a 5/8 drop & got cut springs from the previous owner .. bumpy ride sometimes** on certain roads , what springs do you recommend?
Springs I used here work good but only 4.5 inches of drop
@@TWAMotorsports think about lifting it up a little more since I have a 2002 and it hits hard sometimes in the underbody
@IsaacKapone405 makes sense
I’m trying to source those RideTech shocks but cant get them to respond to email…Do you have parts list for the RideTech shock???
Call and talk to Josh
Do those helper bags work for an 09 yukon on 6 in drop spring?
They should
What 5” drop springs are you using?
Junk off ebay I replaced with belltech 5305 springs. Link in video description
Hey Travis would some 07-2020 5inch drop springs fit on a 03 Yukon
Sure will. Same spring

All tires are equal pressure at measuring time
Donate me those springs😂😊
Lol
🤟🏽💯
Thank you
Who would have known some no name, cheap-o, eBay springs were junk and have a terrible ride quality.
Exactly. Was only option at the time
Looks nice
