- Ice Fishing the Back-Country is always a lot of fun and a good adventure!! This day Mac and I headed to a lake I have never been in to look for some Walleye but ended up finding a mixture of species!! Was a great day!

One trick I came up with whilst using bobber stops, which may move from where you initially set them, is to take a small permanent Sharpie marker pen and mark your line (about a one inch mark, so it is more easily seen) where you want to be. Then if you discover the stop has moved voila! Bring it back to where you want it to be!
Know you have a good guide when he says “no way” when you hook a fish😭

Clayton where can I send my Ion auger blades for sharpening? I have a second set of blades but my current ones just need some touch-up work as it requires some downward pressure to get the blades to bite. No major nicks in the blades.

I swear by the finicky foolers, I’ve done great on the eyes with them. Pike as well. I’ve learned that the auto set feature sets me up to miss more fish than running them without the auto set

They are called finicky foolers. Ive used then tons for perch, also! They work great and only run about 30 bucks👍🏼

I just came back from a week trip to my cabin in NE Ontario what a great ice trip . I just want to thank you for all your content I used a lot of your tactics and it payed off . Thank You so much for all of it . Biggest thank you is for showing the Tantrum bait I used the Frosty Clown and absolutely hammered perch and walleye that rattle bait is the best thing going it’s a fish catching machine!!!

Any chance you could could show the autochart ice feature. Maybe it’s something you do use? I realize it’s better in a boat but a lot of the lakes I fish are just in the winter. About to drop some coin on a Mega live or Livescope setup and the autochart/live contour feature might sway me one way or the other. All the preloaded or chip maps in my area are pretty inaccurate. Thanks and the content is great, liking the shorts to.

What a great day for you fellas!!
