Thanks so much Adam for the kind comment! I'm glad you found the video useful! Load cell pedals are a game changer! Do stick around for more, and I'll add that to the list :D
I have the VRS pedals. Jumped from logitech G923 pedals to them. Took over 2 seconds off my laptimes in my first practice session using them 😂. Honestly they are class! They aren't expensive either tbh. Not when you compare them to other pedals of the same quality and performance. Must have pedals these if you care about being quick and consistent.
I just upgrade my setup from g29 to gt dd pro + v3 pedal in end of Jan ‘23 and loved it! But I just understood the preload on V3 brake just last week! It changed my world even further!
I have a Logitech G27 pedals + wheel combo (300€ as new). I've had them for probably ten years now. I've always driven with just that, never even tried anything fancier. I wanted to see what time I can do with the Dallara F3 around Brands. I had to buy the F3 since I didn't have it. I managed to do 1.17:53 after 16 laps. It's still not super fast - there's a video from Craig's Setup Shop where they do a 1.15:5. I am planning on upgrading to Fanatec or Moza very soon now that I upgraded my PC and monitor, though I am still missing a proper sim rig (it's on the list). It will be interesting to see what the upgrade does to my lap times and especially consistency, since that is the biggest problem I have right now.
I went from a potentiometer set of pedals to the CSL pedals. Ive had them for about 3yrs without any drama. They're relatively cheap and 100% better, and more enjoyable. Do yourself a favor and your FIRST upgrade should be to a load cell pedal. And remember to send it in T1 for the win!
I also live in Australia and recently got the VRS with the exact same pedal plate, same spacing of the pedals, red spring etc. Great minds and all that jazz
@@TheCarDoc1 I almost forgot, I am also using a GT Elite :D Only mine is the standard one and you have the lovely blue Ford one. The pedals are amazing, I came from using the Thrustmaster TLCM so its a massive step up. I swapped the spring before even putting them on and I have slightly reduced the accelerator travel and adjusted the pedal plates but other than that I am still really kind of bedding them in and then will start playing with the tie rod and the preload etc. How about you? Have you made a lot of adjustments?
The Logitech pedals are quite decent even for more advanced players, you can even achieve something "similar" to load cell if you setup deadzone properly, but there one BIG problem: those potentiometer are crap. If you want to play a lot, they will die very quick. They becoming unaccurate and start flickering more and more... Mine has worn after about 9 months of moderate gaming. I have replaced mine with linear position sensors, it was little bit tricky, but now it works much better.
My T-LCM pedals are EPIC. Been using them for 3 years. I win almost every race. So much consistency its insane. Only thing I did was swap the clutch and throttle spring. from factory the clutch spring is stiff and throttle is soft, when you swap them, its SO MUCH BETTER. Easy clutch use, and the throttle gives way more feeling of control with a bit stiffer spring. I LOVE THEM. No need for a fancy pedal set. I did buy some covers for the pedal faces to make them nicer on my socks!
@@TheCarDoc1 Man they are so epic, and for the price, they cannot be beat. A lot of people don't realize they are just as good as any other pedal set, for a lot less money
@@ezpz4659 I went from T-LCMs to V3s mostly because of the angle of the pedals on the TLCMs. Although they can be slightly (very slightly) adjusted, the way the pedals raise and come out towards the user just didn't suit my rig. Both my ankles were hurting after every race, summat I had never experienced. Aside from that, they're a fantastic piece of equipment and definitely worth the price!
Very nice comparison!❤ I have thrustmaster t-lcm's with after market elastomers and after market rumble motors. They feel good, but better pedals are my next upgrade. ❤
I went from G29 pedals to those fanatec pedals and it does feel better and i am able to be more precise on them compared to the G29 pedals. Had to upgrade my platform as the force needed to apply brake pressure was moving the rig under braking lol. Better feel, more consistent for sure although i never tried the g29 pedals with the cushion hack.
one of the best surprises with my thrustmaster pedals was that I didn't have to hurt myself just to get full brake force like with my g29. I'm afraid of getting something new now because my disabled ass really doesn't like a lot of pressure, literally! lol, my hips are just weird after the surgery when I was 12 that's now done with bone putty and no need for invasive life altering bone marrow transplants[they didn't know at the time how long term it was]
First off, great content as always. I have a question regarding the logitech g pro pedals. Where would you rank them between those 3? Thinking about buying the bundle. But not sure about the quality of the pedals.
Are you just starting off buying a wheel or are you relatively experienced? If you are starting off, they are plenty good enough for anything you might need to use them for, then when you get more and more hardcore, you can start upgrading. as for the quality of the logitech pedals, I have heard it is quite good, i mean obviously the base is plastic, but the pedals are metal, my friend has them, and he says they do what they are made for without any problems, hope i could help :D
I’m very interested in these pedals, but seem hard to find right. I noticed yours has the paddle tray, but haven’t seen the pedal tray advertised with the pedals. Did you buy that separately?
What you said in you conclusion about enjoyment is my main worry. My frustration to enjoyment level is getting way out of whack. I don't need to be the fastest guy out there but I would like to see hours of practice amount to more improvement that I am currently getting.... and yes I have seen the various track guides and such but am unable to duplicate the results. I am no noob either I started sim racing back with NR2003. Forget about new pedals I may have to retire the ones I have before I drive myself crazy with this stuff
Do you think it's better if I upgrade the pedals to Simjack pro Loadcell or buy a new drift steering wheel and gloves? The pedals I use are Thrustmaster T3PM
I came from the G920 to the Fanatec pedals with a Simagic alpha wheel. The pedals did make me faster by a lot. Don’t know if the even more expensive brakes are worth it.
Yes more expensive pedals with high KG load cells will make you faster also I highly recommend Ricmotech LC27-3 Logitech Load Cell kit for G Series pedals
Not necessarily. As long the pedals are progressive within the sim, you can adapt your muscle memory to it and youre good to go. Expensive pedals are made for more realistic immersion but the progression of the pedals in the sim stays the same as with cheaper pedals
The problem I had with logitech pedals is exactly that. They weren't progressive at all. Resting my foot on the pedal would cause up to 60% braking input, whilst the last 40% required much more. I went through a second set that was different again (though they were a bit better). I then bought a load cell set and the consistency made me "feel" the car so much better, and thus led to faster and more consistent driving.
Wrong. As potentiometer breaks rely on position not force, its impossible to have any sort of decent muscle memory. With load cell you will get muscle memory as it relies on force. However it wont really make you faster, but more consistent.
The biggest difference I felt in pedals was from getting a load cell. People are saying it won't make you faster but more consistent but in my case I could never get trail braking down until I started using a loadcell. This led to faster laps on almost every track I've ran.
Hey everyone, I'm purchasing fanatec kit for for my Xbox. Can anyone with experience tell me which pedal set to get? I'm having very hard time choosing between the 3 pedals. The csl LC pedals can be moded quite easily, elite V2 have no mods pretty much for throttle and clutch ulless spending lots of money on top and the clubsport V3 look amazing and adjustable out of the box but are time consuming to adjust the brakes. Very confusing choice. Thanks in advance
I am missing an "average lap time over x laps" here to compare them. The consistency part is so important when it comes to comparing these pedals. Way more than the actual peak best lap time and it sadly fell short in this video.
I run a g920 with tlcm pedals, the pedals made me maybe 0.5s faster but way more consistent, I’m hoping the wheel is the last peice of the puzzle, currently sitting at 2500irating, 0.5s is the difference between top 10 and top 3
This video is making me want to buy the VRS pedals so bad. My brain is telling me yes, but my wallet is telling me no. Great video btw, this popped up as I was doing some research on pedals
You should have the Fanatec CSL elite V2’s in this comparison, the Fanatec Clubsport v3 with bpk are outdated, v2 have much better brake pedal which makes you faster and more consistent than with the v3. VRS are very good but expect not too much difference in lap times compared to the v2’s.
weeel yes it does, now everyone will say there are pro plays who play on g29 BUT, most of new players dont have clue what are they doing, in that case there are 2 "noobs" ,one have a g29 and the other have a DD wheel, now the guy with DD wheel dont know much but he instantly feel what the car is doing so he cant "correct" his misstakes, while the one with g29 like wheels have mostly only the visuals and feel just vibration that he dont know what are they represent, so DD wheel guy have the advantage...take it like this: 3 kids going to eat ice cream , the 1st one get a ice cubes with little sugar, 2nd one get the chocolate flavor, the 3 guy get the ice cream with 3 different flavors...but there is always a 4th guy who eat the banana split with all toppings whipped cream crispys and cherrys, now you can see they all "can" eat ice cream...so you "can" race with any gear...
For racing, brakes will help a lot compared to the wheelbase. BUT, where a better wheel base will definitively make you better, is drifting, as sometimes, gear driven shit just can't keep up with the rotation of some cars
True, always have that "problem" with my G29 wheel. But I just aid the wheel by giving it a little push in the direction before I let go. Or just turning the wheel with the palm of your hand.

So $900 dollars for 0.9 of a second it hardly seems worth it to 95 % of people. I use a g920 wheel u just convinced me I don't need to waste any more on a new set up
Per lap. That’s so significant. But i understand not being willing to drop that kind of money. If you’re doing leagues or want to be competitive in general, 0.9 seconds is massive.
0.9 per lap is a massive amount on a 1:19 lap, and that's not even the full picture. If his fastest lap on Logitech pedals was 0.9 slower than his fastest lap overall, that means his other 9 Logitech laps were even slower than that. This also doesn't account for changing grip due to environment or tire wear. Lots of people pay a coach to help them find less than 1 second of lap time.
Dude, the vrs is not the best pedal there’s a whole other tier like the hydraulics and active force pedals honestly I think those vrs get out done by the P1000 sim magic pedals also simgrade vx pro is this price range and they are better
You sbould add a loadcell like the mvhstudio one, or the axcsim truebrake to the Logitech pedals and redo the experiment.... Youll be suprised and much cheaper
Other way around. Logitech uses potentiometers, Fanatec uses load cell. Potentiometers think of as a knob being turned as you press the pedal, it has no measurement of pressure, only turn/travel. On the Fanatec it is measuring a load, or pressure.
I've been using the new Cammus LC100 Pedals. They are really nice for around the 250$ mark super high build quality but they need a few more spring and rubber options to adjust a little more and they would be perfect.
elastomer springs... even fanatec is upfront about calling them springs on their website... meaning it's MORE than just resistance like you're claiming. they PUSH BACK on your foot... real brakes in real cars DONT PUSH BACK they're quite comfortable to press and hold even for long periods of time... springs are the exact opposite of that... they tire the muscles at an accelerated rate.
@@valpodesideromontoya2097 no... i never said that... i said they're not springs... you obviously don't understand an incompressible fluid in a closed system... fluids are not elastic in nature... they continuously deform which is partially what makes a fluid a fluid. BECAUSE it's in a closed system... the enlosure (container of the fluid) forces the fluid to press back ONCE PRESSURE RELIEVES. PRESSURE...FUCKING HYDRAULICS... elasticity vs plasticity .. IT DOESNT PRESS BACK ON THE MUSCLES FATIGUING THEM FASTER. BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT SPRINGS
@@valpodesideromontoya2097 i guarantee you can't generate enough pressure that it turns into a spring. th-cam.com/users/results?search_query=bulging+brake+hose
DO NOT GET THE G920, the pedals are horrible especially if you do not have a solid full rig to mount it on. Thrustmaster's three pedal set is way better, sold my G920 simply because of the brake pedal having the rubber stopper that makes braking inconsistent.
Also with the ring that fucking brake make me so upset to manage, or you brake 100% and fucking slam the foot ok it or you get like no brake at all, I got people say buy some rubber and shit but doesn't fix the problem, is just a quick fix that honestly not change the pedal!
imho anything past $1000 needs to be hydraulic or motorized, i went from modded g25 pedals to the simagic p2000 pedals and instantly went from not ranking ever to getting a bunch of top tens in rbr. you will be better with better gear end of discussion, make the only bottleneck in your setup your own lack of driving skill and you will improve.
I buy a lot of crap. Like multiple hobby’s …. But I know when something is so nice it’s gonna make the wife start checking my business account to see what I’m spending ….. which I don’t need. (It’s bad). Those VRS pedals are basically a one way ticket to a nightmare with the wife. She would assume they cost 4-5k lol
The VRS Pedals are not the best! - There are plenty of Pedal sets out there that are better and more expensive than these. These are only springs and loadcells. All the high-end stuff is Pneumatic and Hydraulic. But as far as a Loadcell and spring system is concerned - These are at the top for quality and feel.
lol this guy really has no clue what he is talking about!! Fanatec v3 aren’t $500 And vrs pedals aren’t the best pedals by far and aren’t the most expensive. Go find a job where you actually know what you’re talking about! Major fail here 😂
why you didn't compare the Logitech G29 wheel using Fanatec pedals or any other good quality pedals? that's what we asked you for. daah anyway! and what about the comparison table you did that's not a real comparison, you are creating a video if that pedals makes you faster and you put in the comparison expensive than other, you need stiffer table, bro come on' !!
Im trying to justify the P1000 for my Simagic ecosytem but they arent going to make me faster than the CSL V2. Of which i dont have either, But i fail to see the value in spending $660 extra to feel ABS.
Another thing is enjoyment though After a lot of thought, it isnt all about going the fastest :-) Going from potentiometers to load cells + experience will make the biggest difference I’ve got active pedals now and I dont think i’m faster but it certainly makes me smile 🤣
Invest in adding haptic feedback to your existing loadcell pedal. P1000 reactor fit on fanatec pedals you could also use rumble motors identical to the v3 rumble motors.
@@TheDoctor46vr haptics for my pedals and a windsim is next for me. I dont like spending large amount on sim racing so my goal is the most immersion for as cheap as possible.

@@amigoz3201 i don't do racing I do touge and drifting so maybe that's why I like them so much compared to other pedals or just because i took a long time tuning the pedals to where i like them I've never tried any other pedals beside the club sport v3s and other cheaper pedals in the past but for what i do i think i like the v3s the most
edit-I also notice you have many spelling errors - for say "biggest my mistake" instead of using all of your daddies money to get pedals and rant about them online I think you should instead go back to school and get better then a 3rd graders spelling level and also stop using cringey emojis
@@amigoz3201 Cool story bro.
I had all those 3 pedals in the past.
i was faster with my g920 than i am with a moza setup,200 pound wheel better than a 1000 pound wheel, just my opinion
There are some cheap loadcell pedals that feel high end like the simsonn pro
I thought I would be a Lewis Hamilton with expensive pedals :(
Sorry to burst your bubble :( haha
So $900 dollars for 0.9 of a second it hardly seems worth it to 95 % of people. I use a g920 wheel u just convinced me I don't need to waste any more on a new set up
It’s more about consistency. You could drop consistent 1:18.8 with higher end pedals but with a Logitech the results will be wider
Yes, but $300-400 for 0.8 of a second is pretty good value.
Per lap. That’s so significant. But i understand not being willing to drop that kind of money. If you’re doing leagues or want to be competitive in general, 0.9 seconds is massive.
Also, you could opt for SimJacks - high quality without the $900 price tag
0.9 per lap is a massive amount on a 1:19 lap, and that's not even the full picture. If his fastest lap on Logitech pedals was 0.9 slower than his fastest lap overall, that means his other 9 Logitech laps were even slower than that. This also doesn't account for changing grip due to environment or tire wear. Lots of people pay a coach to help them find less than 1 second of lap time.
Dude, the vrs is not the best pedal there’s a whole other tier like the hydraulics and active force pedals honestly I think those vrs get out done by the P1000 sim magic pedals also simgrade vx pro is this price range and they are better
yeah, the moment you put on a race suit you instantly turn into a professional racer. It is obviously so....
You sbould add a loadcell like the mvhstudio one, or the axcsim truebrake to the Logitech pedals and redo the experiment.... Youll be suprised and much cheaper
I thought that Logitech used force and fanatec used travel?
Other way around. Logitech uses potentiometers, Fanatec uses load cell. Potentiometers think of as a knob being turned as you press the pedal, it has no measurement of pressure, only turn/travel. On the Fanatec it is measuring a load, or pressure.
I've been using the new Cammus LC100 Pedals. They are really nice for around the 250$ mark super high build quality but they need a few more spring and rubber options to adjust a little more and they would be perfect.
Are they compatible with Fanatec DD pro?
@@jefersson87 they come with a box that lets you plug them into any USB port if you don't have a Cammus base
@@RicheyBLS Sounds good, thanks!
Sorry to tell you...but the G29 setup costs $425.00 Aus dollars. I live in Australia
Immersion = feeling faster
Maybe not faster but you'll be more consistant, you have pro sim racers still using Logitech.
Which pro simracers? Stop repeating this bullshit myth.
This is bad you can buy Heusinkveld replicas cheaper than Fanatec V3 pedals, or diy for far less
g29 allows me to focus on driving not buying gear ❤
People also copy and sell the design of the overpriced pedals, so you can get the same thing without paying for nothing.
elastomer springs... even fanatec is upfront about calling them springs on their website... meaning it's MORE than just resistance like you're claiming. they PUSH BACK on your foot... real brakes in real cars DONT PUSH BACK they're quite comfortable to press and hold even for long periods of time... springs are the exact opposite of that... they tire the muscles at an accelerated rate.
Ok so you're saying when you release the brakes in a real car, that it will just continue braking?

OHH WOW A 0.5 SEC IMPROVEMENT. 🙄
That's a significant improvement in racing...
Everything he said is true.
Hahahaha, this is when you say you quietly replace them and pretend they were always the pedals you had from the beginning
VRS is over priced garbage lol. Look at there cheap ass f1 wheel at $999 now on sale to $750 plus still a rip off 🤣🤣
The VRS Pedals are not the best! - There are plenty of Pedal sets out there that are better and more expensive than these. These are only springs and loadcells. All the high-end stuff is Pneumatic and Hydraulic. But as far as a Loadcell and spring system is concerned - These are at the top for quality and feel.
Kinda
Second godaamit
second the best?
lol this guy really has no clue what he is talking about!!
Fanatec v3 aren’t $500
And vrs pedals aren’t the best pedals by far and aren’t the most expensive.
Shuttup
Im trying to justify the P1000 for my Simagic ecosytem but they arent going to make me faster than the CSL V2. Of which i dont have either, But i fail to see the value in spending $660 extra to feel ABS.
Another thing is enjoyment though
After a lot of thought, it isnt all about going the fastest :-)
Going from potentiometers to load cells + experience will make the biggest difference
I’ve got active pedals now and I dont think i’m faster but it certainly makes me smile 🤣
@@TheCarDoc1 For me it is, trying to be the fastest i can be is the whole point of sim racing which is where my enjoyment comes from.
Invest in adding haptic feedback to your existing loadcell pedal. P1000 reactor fit on fanatec pedals you could also use rumble motors identical to the v3 rumble motors.
@@RudebwoyRacing yeah I plan to either get one haptic motor or bass shaker for the break pedal of the V2
@@TheDoctor46vr haptics for my pedals and a windsim is next for me. I dont like spending large amount on sim racing so my goal is the most immersion for as cheap as possible.
