only a few seconds into the vid but i cant get over how good your videography is, its genuinely better than 90% of youtubers with 1m+ subscribers out there, also here before the guy that says "claim your early ticket here"
By the way, the clutch and accelerator both use 20kg load cells, not hall effect like you said in the video. Otherwise, great video i have them myself 👍
@@cpanic1153 If you look closely at the pedals, you can see the load cell on the accelerator pedal. This is activated by a small spring. Why it is done this way is quite simple. The load cell signal is very easy to process and the controller can be built very easily and cheaply.
Ive been using these for about 6 months now (sliver version) and been super happy. Here are a few things I’ve learned. Tighten all of the bolts and screws, really tight. Make sure they are mounted very securely. Mine came loose a couple of times until I added more bolts holding them down. The dampers are a waste of money. After a few months both of mine have lost whatever gas or oil was in them. Don’t bother or buy better ones. Use the stiffest polymers and springs. The rest are garbage.
I've been using these Pedals for a few months, and overall have been very satisfied with them. The only negative point I have with them is that I need to re-calibrate them once in a while, after plugging them back into my PC, but that only takes a few seconds with the provided software. I love the adjustability, as it allowed to really hone in the feel of the brake and throttle to my liking. Overall a very nice experience for sometimes
@@eliwatchdarkmode It has happened a few times, sporadically. Mostly it is fine when I plug them back in, but sometimes the maximum input is set wrong (Even though it was fine when I unplugged them).
Never clicked so fast on a video. FInally! Finally someone actually talks about the black finish as I couldn't find any reliable review on that aspect. I think I'll skip the black version and maybe go for the Simjack UT instead (I prefer the look of that gas pedal).
If I were to get a set... I'd go with the metallic finish. When the paint rubs away, you'd see the bare metal anyways so, might as well go with the bare look to begin with. Also, with a 200kg loadcell, I can forgo all elastomers and use nothing but washers. Second stage gang 4 lyfe!
Borderline the same thing but the UT have more stability to the actual structure. The older designs could bend in some areas over time. The UT fixes that
same pedals but the sj ut has "better" brakes if you like it stiffer. that's the only update to them. only the lightest setups were used in this video so their "better" would be debatable.
And now we got the simsonn pro PLUS pedals, can you still follow? I bet in a month the simsonn pro PLUS Ultimate Max is coming too. That aside, they are an amazing set of pedals and your video is super nice to watch. Good work!
From what I'm seeing here, they offer a ton of adjustments that, IMHO, would work better for folks who have lots of experience with setting good load cell pedals up....but it would be VERY confusing for folks who do not have said knowledge ahead of time. In other words, the folks looking to save a ton of cash on these might actually regret it if they don't have the aforementioned experience getting them to work well. Rock meet hard place. I personally am amateur to a fault, I don't want to get to a pro level, I just wanna race. I have lower mid level equipment that I'll never push hard, and I'm not thinking of ever upgrading it. Although these are low cost, I'd pass on them as they'd be overkill for my level of experience, in fact I'd probably end up hating them because I'd have zero clue on how to set them up properly to get the most out of them. If they get good software and someone out there can make a proper set up guide for them, than maybe, otherwise hard pass from me. Great review as always Oscar, your editing skills are absolutely the best!
I have been eyeballing these since I started racing. One question... How tall are the pedals without the heel rest? Is it needed, or is it for people with tiny feet?
How have I just heard of these pedals now . I've been interested in SIM racing for about 5yr and I've just saw these.i think this is the problem I find with SIM gear it's not the best advertised.
from what i heard from this review and remember from the Lc100 review they sound quite similar with the sharp edges and made w/ steel and what not. correct me if i’m wrong.
Any news on what's going to happen to fanatec? I was interested in their stuff as a new sim-racer, but the whole bankruptcy thing is making me wonder if I should look into another brand like Moza for example
from what i have been seeing and hearing Fanatec is still a good option for the most part. they have been doing a lot better with getting orders out quickly and continue operating normally
could you make a video about brake float?(unofficial term I made up on the spot) What it entails is, even though load cells are accurate and all, the reading on the pc actually goes down even though the pressure from the foot does not? From a video I've seen, using springs over rubber blocks seems to completely mitigate the issue
yo i would like to know how they compare to the Moza's Srp pedals i just bought them and your vid came out (im crying) i already are in the Moza ecosystem (r5 bundle) Thanks!
How does this compare to Fanatec CSL Pedals LC and Moza SRP? Looking to retire the G29 and upgrade to a better pedal and wheelbase. Maybe switch to a used belt driven base like Fanatec CSW/CSL Elite or TM T300.

Really? I have all 3 and thought only the brake was a load cell. What’s the point of a load cell on a gas pedal?

The latest version of this design is the simjack UT. It has some tweaks and improved stability
Like the bushing on the brake? The simruito are the same?
On black Friday they was 160 € for 3 pedals with pedal plate and raise

P3 without gas spring and P3-H3 come with 3 gas spring.

Don’t bother with the gas springs. They leak completely after a few months of use and are useless.
