    In place of duct tape try using'Gaffer's tape!not as messy!

      Thanks. Already done so I’ll keep that in mind next time. Honestly I just used whatever I had just laying around.

    after watching all of these videoes, I'm starting to think maybe the STi was not the right car for you. I see the 'vette in the other videos; how much does it rattle? Did it receive the bumper to bumper sound deadening treatment too? Ironically, the more rattles you try to eliminate, the more will pop up. Some of due to plastic trim on plastic trim; while others are connectors hitting metal. Even after adding 200+ pounds of deadener/sound insulator, you will only become more sensitive to rattles. Even wire bundles hitting the metal will make noise. You will spend countless hours chasing rattles; especially in a Subaru. Unless you wrap/cover every wire/connector, trim panel and piece of metal, you will never be successful. Good luck in your quest. Even Mercedes, and their plastic consoles creak and rattle....
