Looks like a couple of rainy days coming. Still lovely and sunny down south.

The path had a variety of challenges today. Good work persevering & finding a campsite. Happy trails! 👣

Good memories from 2023 in bright sunshine to Loch an Nid. More confidence on this trip despite the gloom, stepping across the peat hags with aplomb! I like your choice of campsite by the loch, a great place to end a day and start a new one.

You are both amazing. You push each other on each day and not an angry word is heard when lost. Love these videos so much so thank you for sharing.

Thank you. Yes, Ben and I never get angry at each other. We never say mean words to each other on or off trail.:)

There's bits like that overgrown trail on the Pennine way in the Forrest sections up north, I just follow the Forrest commission road, much less hassle lol. There's also a section between greenhead and Alston (north to south) where I was on rough ground being attacked by cows, I headed over to the bridleway beside a mini railway which runs parallel to the Pennine way. I'm enjoying following your adventure, the Scottish wilderness is amazing. I'll be doing the Pennine way again at the end of June/July, this time with my daughter, I'm really excited for it, especially after watching your hike 👍🏻

I would love to do the Pennine Way one day. My goal is to do EVERY trail in the UK. I hope my lifetime is enough time for that.

@@hikersheep Peat hags are the 'towers' of eroded peat that you have to go up and down. I walked across Rannoch moor once and some of them were 6 - 8 feet tall. Total nuisance!

The joys of the Scottish National Trail , pathless and bogs , its ok , I walked that boggy path into Kinlochewe aswell . I was thinking you were going a different way to Loch an Nid before you found the path . Keep up the hard work .
