You guys are just hilarious and so adorable. My hubby and I have just binge watched your entire trip in the past week. As fellow hikers we are just loving your videos. If you're ever looking for another wee trip, we can recommend a visit to the East Neuk of Fife which is part of the Fife Coastal Path which is just on our door step. You would adore the little fishing villages. Thank you for sharing your trip. xx
Good job chaps. You were tested and did not fail. I hate those scree trails - it's when the footwear with thick, less flexible soles help. The weather can be treacherous in those parts. Go Well.
Lololol....population two...until Jude Law showed up. Ben was so mesmerized....after we talked to the Englishman, Ben said "Dont you think he looks like Jude Law??" 😆
Good that you met the hikers and could confirm exactly where you were on that trail. Would be real scary to be lost in such a remote area. Well done on a tough day 🙂
Definition of a Bothy. An open shelter, never locked, open to all as a refuge in remote areas. Of course everyone can contribute to the maintenance of those shelters, by visiting the MBA website.
Those rocks & uphill climbs looked intimidating. Glad you both stayed strong and powered through the day. Yay for the bothy & hopefully a good night's rest. Thanks for sharing your real experiences with us! Happy trails! 👣
Poor Ben. There is a theory that wind can produce infrasound which when combined with isolation or exhaustion can produce episodes of mental instability. I've had a few freaky moments in the mountains.
I can't help thinking that once over the bealach above Loch Coire Fionnaraich, you've basically gone backwards. If you'd carried on downhill N or NE, you'd have met the road in about an hour. It may be a bit boring, (unless you carry on through the Torridon mountains) but in such a tired state, it would have been safer and welcomed.

Cristina and Ben
thank you for taking us with you on a trying day walking on those rocks.
I admire your resilience not far to the finnish.
You've both been very lucky with the weather on this trip. Fantastic filming and views, keep it up
Wow, way to push through. This episode prompted a good discussion between me and my husband about our hiking expectations and communication. 👍
Oh good!! In our case, I have more hiking and long distance backpacking experience than Ben so I try to go his pace..physically and mentally
Wow! You picked a really hard route.
Am really enjoying following you on the map.
I didnt know it was gonna be that hard! :/
Population two, that cracked me up 😂. Keep going both savage hikers, nailing it as always.

@@hikersheep Ben was having a bad day, he thought the old guys looked alike, then jude law, this could become a running theme 😂.
Not easy trail Bobo ! I admire the both of you for not cracking up under the strain.
We like easy trail Bobo sometime. Lol

Yea...thank god for Jude Law appearing out of nowhere in the fog and mist! Lol
Tough day, uphill both ways I think. Keep going, almost 1 month, I can't imagine that, it has gone by so quickly.

That was a stinker of a day. Ben's hilarious. Very dry
Sense of Humour. It's good that you can laugh at yourselves.
Hew seriously thought those 2 guys look alikw 🙄😬
Glad to see that you have found somewhere dry, a real bad day for both of you, very rough under foot. Stay strong. Regards. Andrew.
