    Very good video. i've been using the edelkrone for over a year now and it's been perfect for me, except that set up time and tweaking which is alot but once you can get used to it, it's interesting to work with. I've had to change the slider belt's roller once due to misalignment and edelkrone sent a replacement to me for free with no charges at all and it worked well since then. I've since gotten some of their other products and will get more. Great video again and thanks for all the pros and cons.

    Very helpful comparison review. I’m stuck deciding between these or the Zeapon slider. The GVM & Neewer ones seem like great budget alternatives

      My recommendation as of today 2022 would be go with Edelkrone. They update their firmware and sliders far more often and are much better at working out bugs and issues that I have found with the sliders.

    The bend on the edelkrone is because the setup is recommended (by Alper) to be used with a 100mm half ball adapter.

    So far you're the only TH-camr with a recent review of both the Rhino and the Edelkrone

    Great non-biased review. Hard to find on TH-cam these days. The slider market is still not quite there yet but I guess if your willing to accept some of the imperfections they can still get the job done. I'm interest to know if the jitters persist on the 40" steel rail for the Rhino.
    I'm in the market but just can't seem to find a motorized slider that has undeniably smooth shots. I'm stuck on going fully motorized or just perfecting my shots manually with a slider like the Syrp magic carpet pro or the Rhino w/o Arc II. Great review again! Appreciate the time you put in.

      Thank you. I get the same results on both sliders in terms of the jitter

    Thank god you're complaining in this video where you should. So many reviews are so polite and proper, leaving for a lot of uncertainty on weather or not this will actually work for me. I related a lot with the way you got annoyed with things as it would bother me the same way. Biggest concern for me is the 'jitter' movements. It seems to defeat the purpose of having a slider.

    Thanks for creating this video. How loud are those sliders' motors in db? I am looking for a good motorised slider. I am looking for all 3 features in one slider. It should be as quiet as possible, can carry at least 5kg weight and I can use vertically. Any suggestions please?

    subscribed to your channel back in the old edelkrone slider days, lmao sad to see it still got some annoyances. are there any other alternatives? between these two the rhino seems an all around better product

    Fantastic review! Has Rinho fixed all those bugs since this video?

    • @myvideoversion
      @myvideoversion  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So far the only thing not fixed is adding more keyframes. The other issues are fixed. There still is a very slight jitter in the movement which is a little worse in the edelkrone but all in all I'm still happy with it

    I cant thank you enough for making this video. Ive been researching for weeks about edelkrone v rhino bc i will be investing in one of these setups soon. The data you gave was very raw and useful. You mention edelkrone can perform more complex moves (which i agree) but would you think that rhino will come out with firmware updates to host more than 2 key frames?

    • @myvideoversion
      @myvideoversion  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They have told me that they are working on just that. Not sure how long it will take

    • @zdtv1578
      @zdtv1578 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      myvideoversion complex movement vs ease of use is a huge. I can’t find a lot of reviews on the torque motor and how well incline/vertical shots work on the arc ii. What are your thoughts with the JibOne + head plus vs Rhino Slider + Arc ii??

    Anyone have thoughts on this?

    • @myvideoversion

      Jibone gives you a very different movement than a regular slider. It's an arc vs a slide.
