John I'm sorry to tell you this but on this one you got it wrong. Now as far as the churches goes yes I wouldn't go to those churches, but as far as the worship goes you need to learn the difference because you're out of line even with the word of God on this one. And if I was in your face I would call you on it and then I would call you on it in public because you're wrong on this one every one of you are. There's a reason the Bible says Make a Joyful Noise unto the Lord. Anything you do that concerns God, if you're giving him your all is worship, whether it's done in secret or not. I think maybe this time that's it's you and your cohorts that need to learn the difference. Now that what you do in secret I shall reward you openly, but if you deny me before man I will deny you before my father, think about these two statements before you decide that worshiping in secret is the only way.

I've told my pastor about how little theological worship preaching I've sat under. When I tell him that I've tested him, as a Bereans would, he initially was offended. However, I would come back and tell him I've been feed by his preaching, due to his being true to the Word.
I use his preaching as one step in my study. As I seek the truth, God fills me. I am blessed to have come under a man who doesn't phone in his sermons.

@richardhicks9914 I agree with you to an extent, but this is my own view on worship songs. Worship is a lifestyle, but you see, worship songs or worship atmosphere is a time to express love, having intercourse with your lover. Don't forget we are God's bride; worship atmosphere is a time of intimacy. That is why there is a lot of spiritual business going on at that time. It is a time of you just being with your lover, and he can whisper to you a lot of things. That is why it is important that the leader of this atmosphere is right with God because if they are not, they will only give what they have. And that is why some people will go to church and then go back home with a strange spirit which was given to them in place of intimacy. In conclusion, worship is a lifestyle, but worship atmosphere is a time you spend with your lover. Imagine the way you chill with your boyfriend or girlfriend; you will need to set the atmosphere right for you to enjoy your partner, so is it with God. Note: God is the originator of SEX; it's just that we abuse it a lot, and the devil has done a good work to make sex filthy, and at the sound of it, people just have different reservations. SEX is a good thing, and it is first a spiritual thing before a physical thing. That is why the devil is so angry with man because he can't imagine that God in his mightiness will fall in Love with frail human. This is my point of view, which I believe to be correct, but you can believe otherwise. I just want to put the information out there.

They are giving all their attention to God. They are pouring it out. Cold worship with no feeling is not worship. It has to come from our hearts. That means being humbled to not care what others think of us for worshiping too loud or crying or laughing with joy unspeakable. We are commanded to love the Lord with ALL of our hearts and ALL of our soul and ALL of our mind. This takes effort. This means cast aside your inhibitions and let lose and worship him like many of these are doing. I agree we need to be careful but we also need to be careful not to misjudge anyone who is singing love songs to God and accuse them of only wanting to draw attention to themselves. I follow no bands. I like lots of worship music. I only listen to worship music. God wants us to do things well and he gave us creativity and talent. Better they use this talent for the kingdom than the alternative. People think watching sports is fine that has nothing to do with worshiping God and is all about worshiping man but sing in a style of music someone does not like and somehow singing to God is not worship?

I remember watching a movie in the nineties right after I got saved about persecution in China. It was a dramatic movie for sure based on true stories. In one scene some friends who were part of the underground church there were meeting secretly and after reading some of the Bible together and talking about the passage they began to worship. They didn’t sing out loud because if they had they might have been heard by some people walking by the place where they were and could have been arrested. But even though they were “silent” they were heard by God. I remember thinking “Wow, that’s worship.” Because it was truly from the heart. That’s what God desires and deserves.

    • @paulmerritt2484

If you saw that then you should see here this is also from the heart. People are singing form their hearts and people are accepting Jesus as their savior at these shows. Worship is how we connect with teh Holy Spirit. We are commanded to love the Lord with all of our heart and soul and mind. For many that means singing the songs that move their hearts to the Lord as love songs. God sings back over us. The devil hates it when we worship the lord and is attacking worship by this video. He uses legalism and tries to tell us "those people are not singing from the heart" when we have no right to say that.

@@paulmerritt2484so you call it a show? Because I agree that it seems like a show too. The singers come up and play music, facing the audience, plays for them, and the audience has a great time singing, dancing and being excited. A great show they put on. But could you imagine Jesus leading a similar show? Wasn’t He humble, lowly, a man of suffering? Wasn’t he teaching, careful about His words and serious about His actions? Shouldn’t we always look to Christ as our example? Music wasn’t introduced into the church until the late 1800’s and was since then frowned upon, because of the people’s careful reverence for God, not wanting to influence others with sounds that stir the senses. They wanted the people to remain influenced by His Word and His sacrifice. It is not legalism, to stand up and say, this seems more like a rock concert than it is, a reverent act if sincere worship. The music stirs the emotions- even for non-believers. It has that power.

🙏🏽👏You spoke Truth. Amen. The sad part is we should all know the basics. The Bible says Ask and ye shall receive, knock and it shall be opened unto you.
James 1:5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
The question is why are we going about everything leaning unto our own understanding. The masses do not pray nor fast and ask and counsel with God in all things.
We should be praying before we even read the Holy Bible to ask God to bless us with correct interpretation and understanding of his words. We have too many different churches (albeit they are all man made/false churches) and too many different versions of the Holy Bible. God is not the author of confusion.
I challenge everyone to seek God to know where to find his 1 true church that bears the name Jesus Christ as its his church which have 12 apostles he ordained and a Prophet with the Priesthood Power and Authority and they work in full unity of the Faith. Preaching and Baptizing every kindred, nation, tongues and people.
A church that is restored today from the original church that went into the Great Apostasy as per the prophesy of Amos 8:11-12. A church that is gathering Israel. A church with a direct line of Prophetic and Apostolic authority. A church that have no paid clergy. A church that doesn’t preach at the alter begging for money and passing around a collection plate.
The New Testament teachings is the full blue print of the Christ Church.
Pray sincerely and Fast to find it🙏🏽❤️

You're right that both singing/music and private, spiritual acts of worship and obedience are found throughout the Bible as valid expressions of worshiping God. Some key points:
    - In the Old Testament, singing, dancing, and musical instruments were regularly incorporated into worshiping God at the tabernacle/temple. Examples include King David dancing before the ark.
    - In the New Testament, singing hymns and spiritual songs is specifically mentioned as a God-pleasing act in places like Colossians 3:16 and Ephesians 5:19.
    - However, true worship is not limited to just the external, communal acts. As the text mentions, worship also includes private, internal acts like denying oneself temptations and obeying God secretly without recognition from others.
    - Both the public, communal expressions (singing, prayer, etc.) and private acts of obedience and sacrifice seem to be recognized in Scripture as valid forms of worship.
    - The danger comes when people rely only on one form (like the emotional musical experience) and neglect other important biblical elements of worship like obedience, truth, prayer, repentance, etc.
    - Or when they view the external, emotive expressions as the whole of worship rather than just one part of a multifaceted relationship with God.
So in summary, while music and emotional expressions have their place, true biblical worship encompasses both our private devotion to God through obedience as well as communal praise through singing, prayer and other approved means. Both private and corporate elements, guided by Scripture, are important.

This is the correct answer. Ive seen many of the churches commented on from this video talk about all the things they discussed in this video. Sacrifice = worship etc.
This video is acting like these churches dont preach that. You can have loud worship and sound doctrine. Disclaimer: i am not stating %100 of thise churches preach sound doctrine. I am stating that loud worship doesnt equal incorrect gospel.
Did David, the man afyer God's own heart worship wildy, running around naked. Did 'religious' people despise him for his lack of decorum.
Hating on others because there worship looks different to yours ib my opinion is closer to being pharisee than understanding christ in his fullness.
However videos mocking mega churches will always get clicks, so i guess the video creator has succeeded in their goal.

Musical Worshiping is different for each person and congregation. Some worship with a production and some worship with a hymnal and piano. Some worship in the middle of the road.
Congregating to practice corporate worship can have many flavors. Just like the many denominations of Protestants.
I’m not big on loud charismatic but do love a solid worship set that moves the congregation to the river of the word, the main message.
      Just my 2 cents.

Someone who I was building a friendship with within my church decided to purchase tickets to Elevation Church's concert for my birthday in February 2024… I wanted to decline the offer and suggest something else, but I felt terrible when I learned she already paid for the tickets and her husband was already watching the boys. I felt stuck.
The concert was lively and “entertaining” and some people were actually crying and worshipping, but deep inside it felt all wrong. I didn't feel like the Lord was getting ALL the praise. What I witnessed was some people overcome with everything in the concert-- lights, emotions, the crowd, etc. I even cried, but I focused on praising the Lord… I'm sure some people did that as well. I was also sad because someone cared to make my birthday special when most of my family had forgotten.

Those are normal feeling we get when we worship in church also. The lights look cool but do not affect our hearts to make false worshipers. All that you see there is for the Glory of God. All that creativity came from him. I woudl never ever clap for any singer or band. Jesus gets all the glory. Elevation worship is reaching hearts and bringing people to Jesus. Listen to Brandon Lake "Gratitude" and tell me that is not a love song to God! This is a celebration of Jesus. If you won the lottery would you dance and jump up and down? Sure you would. Anyone would. How much more joyful should we be for eternal salvation and the love of Jesus? I will say do pay attention to that inner voice of the Holy Spirit and if he convicts you not to go then you did the right thing. I am not judging you at all. I think these shows get a bad rap. I also have yet to hear a sermon without errors in it. I have yet to see a perfect Christian. Doing this is sure better than going to a sports game where people are worshiped.

I noticed the lights were bright, the band was loud and the people were standing still. Afraid to lift their hands up. Then, the church started having camera men running around on stage during worship. I realized, this isn’t worship. It’s pretend, outward projection that the Pharisees were doing in Jesus’s day.

I’ve had the wonderful privilege of being raised in a small church and was so blessed to worship with them in so many ways. Christians that have matured and been taught the right way, understand that worship does not only mean singing and lifting our voices.
Saying that, I have had the honor of experiencing worship music with a piano, choir, & and 50 member congregation. Small gathering but the Holy Spirit was undeniably present.
Now I have the honor of serving and gathering with 1000 members, paino, guitars, drums, big screen, lights and typically 5 individuals leading worship. It is a different setting from what I grew up in but one thing that remains, is that the spirit is undeniably there as well.
The reason I am saying this, is to say that I know the Holy Spirit moves in a small church setting and in a large church setting. But if we say that God is not being honored when worship leaders find talented singers, guitarists, drummers and specialist I would challenge you to read (1 Chronicles 15: 16-22).
My comment is not to say that this video is 100% incorrect but it does imply that this video is misleading and does not represent what every church shown in the video considers worship. It does imply that every church shown thinks that worship is only singing and no facts were provided. There was no biblical scripture to back up the claim either. We worship in so many ways and one of them is gathering as a congregation and inviting the Holy Spirit in.

I went to a store front church for almost two years. The pastor, his wife, and even teenage son and daughter were involved in worship which also was a band that played at rallies and other churches. They were very good and I loved some of the songs they did. Even ones that felt like real worship. But it was always before the service. There were times when I hoped we could sit there quietly and wait on the Holy Spirit to lead us. We always had a quick time in prayer. But on Wednesday nights was a treat. The congregation was allowed to participate opening up in Scripture, then ask a question or comment. Then others could participate until someone had the next question.
But later, for personal reasons, I didn't go anymore. I'm not going to a church right now mainly because I don't have a car. But I watch you often and like you having Voddie on there. And I listen to David Wilkerson and others like him.
I also want you to know that I'm a singer songwriter and believe in singing for the Lord, even at home. There are a few more songs that I'm meant to write. I've even shared a couple on your channel, I think. They come from my book called

I do agree that humans are 100% emotional beings, this is true. However, I do understand what this Pastor is saying. Worship, Faith, and whether or not we recognize God’s work and presence should not be dependent on how we feel. If that were the case, many people would argue that God was not there during much of their struggles and trials because they did not feel Him. Of course, the Bible says that’s wrong. He is always there. Their feelings may be real to them, but feelings must be separated from fact and our understanding/obedience to the Word🙏🏽. Not an argument by the way! Just giving my perspective 💕

@@bananka4905I think I can help navigate this topic🙏🏽 I fully believe that people can be visited by Jesus and feel His presence in close proximity to them. I have asked to feel God before, when I was struggling with my personal faith years ago and was trying to separate my own relationship with God from the relationship I inherited from family. I was honest with Him and told Him I didn’t feel Him and I needed Him to show me He was there because I wanted to have a strong faith! I was also going through so much mental, emotional, and spiritual distress and I believe God saw my hunger for Him was real and I desired to know Him on a personal level. I believe I was sitting on my bed crying and I felt a presence in the room with me. A calmness came over me like nothing I’d ever felt and I just breathed and I knew it was God. I DOVE headfirst into the word, wrote verses everyday, carried my Bible everywhere I went and I felt God closer to me than I ever had. I was at peace! I never saw God in human form, that I know of, but this is not be discrediting that some people do! It’s a bit of a slippery slope here because I do think that people saying they have had physical encounters with God has grown a little to be somewhat of religious trend. Just as hearing from God has become a religious trend. These things DO happen, but the Holy Spirit is the only real one who can help us discern when something is coming from God and when it’s altered or fabricated. I can’t speak to the story do these women. I’d have to know more about their personal encounters. I don’t urge anyone to take my word for anything but to pray and let the Holy Spirit guide you. Everything should be fact checked! Even the words we hear from our pastors. It’s not rude or disrespectful, but it is a vital part of the process in us taking accountability for our own salvation. And I encourage everyone to do that 🫶🏽 I have heard stories of people seeing Jesus in a physical form. The ones I remember most are stories from people who experiencing heavy abuse and were comforted by someone they belief to be Jesus, as they never saw them again and they disappeared quickly. I pray for discernment and I rely on the Holy Spirit to give me a strong feeling of spiritual discomfort when I’m hearing something that isn’t God led. Having said all this, sometimes, we just don’t know. I wouldn’t harbor too much on that particular situation. I would just pray for spiritual discernment daily and you will receive it. I want that for you. And I’m still working myself. We’ll be working until we leave this planet, but so long as we’re moving forward in knowing God and fulfilling our purpose, we’re doing well🙏🏽

Some songs resonate with my soul so much that singing them is an expression of worship, and I think that’s what praising Him with music is all about. I don’t have to be around people to sing them to Him. So, all music isn’t separate from praise. Some songs are popular because worshipers have these praises in their hearts already, but putting it to music elevates it even more, and if that’s where you’re at, and you get loud, it’s because your heart is crying out in praise.

Music was so important to God the most beautiful creation he made had musical instruments built in him. Does anyone think the fall of Lucifer distorted the way music is used today? We worship God in our service with reverence and it is not a performance. It is Christmas centered music and does not look like a concert. As a person who studied vocal performance in collage, I often use that talent to worship God.

Relying on the flesh to bring you closer to God will eventually fail you. It can help get people started and spark interested to attend church or learn more. But then as you progress, dive into the word daily you will understand the true worship and connection comes from a calm, silent and peaceful relationship with Jesus as you seek him more.
I wouldn’t write off all Christian music but I wouldn’t focus on it as the main means of worship. Use it as a tool and understand that the goal is to focus on what God desires through scripture and prayer.

There's a time and place for everything. There's a time to be quiet with God. There's a time to be loud for God. I think loud worship is valuable as well as quiet worship. And worship is much more than singing songs, but we shouldn't judge how a person worships based on how they sing a song. In fact, we shouldn't concern ourselves on how anyone worships... that's between them and God. I find it encouraging when I give my all to God. I give my all to everything else. If I'm loud during my day to day, why not be loud for Christ as well?

    1 Praise the Lord.
    Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens.
    2 Praise him for his acts of power;
praise him for his surpassing greatness.
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,
4 praise him with timbrel and dancing,
praise him with the strings and pipe,
5 praise him with the clash of cymbals,
    praise him with resounding cymbals.
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
    Praise the Lord.
    Luke 19
37 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:
38 “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!”
40 “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”
I'll shout it for the people in the back... THE BIBLE SAYS TO PRAISE AND WORSHIP THE LORD WITH INSTRUMENTS, DANCING, AND SINGING!
Yes, there are false teachers out there, but @TheGospelOfChrist, don't become one by insinuating that Christians should not be doing what God tells us to do! So what if it's a "rock concert?" So what if people are weeping, shouting, or dancing? If their HEART is in the right place and their bodies are falling in line with their spirit in giving praise to God ... again, I say ... SO WHAT?!

[17] The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. [18] But what does it matter? We need to be careful about building our channels around destroying other people's ministries. It's okay for them to call it worship music. It's not worldly music. It's about Christ. Many of these groups have blessed me and I've been in circles where they were sung and they are not magnifying satan. I visited a church where there was artificial smoke sometimes. That church was so filled will the Holy Ghost that it set my life back on track to serving Jesus when I had no place to go and there is no turning around for me. Let us stop judging people. They could be out doing drugs and magnifying Lucifer, but they love Jesus. They might not be where you are, but for them to dedicate their music career to magnify His name, that is outstanding...especially when they could be devil worshipers. Even if some are weak, they still choose to stay with God. Leaders, you have to stop this. We all will have to stand before the Father to give an account of what we've done wrong and if we have turned atheists, and critics of christianity away from Christ, we are indeed standing in the way of sinners. Preach the Gospel, live Holy and show others how to. I don't want to see another channel sprout up that'd doing this. You might think because your channels grow that you're doing the right thing...not so. People love slander and gossip. God never told us to waste any time exposing our brothers and sisters. Just because they're weak, it doesn't mean that they are not of the fold. Cry out against sin without using people as a example...not unless the Bible gave us one to use an example. Where do the weak and the fallen go? Who can they go to when the ones who are strong have become their worst enemy. Yes, this is worship music. Lives are being transformed. Now, Leaders...teach people what real worship is. Knowing what it is and listening to this music while driving, cleaning, working will give them a full worship experience. This music doesn't draw you closer to satan, it draws you closer to God.

I have for a long time that worship is in different form. Not in singing alone but we humans just describe singing as music but what i want to say is that our personal relationship with God matters. Now those songs they sing, we used them in our churches and they are anointed. The difference is the heart that is singing the song. When the heart is good, when we are in alignment with God, He accepts our songs. Lets not attack the song, lets make sure our hearts are right with God otherwise, we who are debating here might be rejecting what God is accepting. Lets watch that

I’m young 19 years old and I read the gospels of Mathew, Mark, Peter 1 and 2 still haven’t completed the others but jumped into Old testament after the first four books and just reading the story of our Lord it takes a patience, discipline and wisdom to get certain revelations. But through it all I can see the truth that behind these churches who reach out to many they don’t offer truth, life or love for and of Jesus Christ nor show us how to have a relationship with God, they preach out counterfeit love, change faith for emotion, and the truth they preach is personal and not of our Savior. I don’t have the ability to quote scripture yet but I do know most megachurches consist of preaching hypocrites and false prophets who build a following of people who want the same materials as their leader.

It’s interesting in that I think there is a false dichotomy of contemporary musical worship being bad because there are examples of inaccurate or incorrect worship.
But I wholeheartedly agree with Voddie’s interpretation of Ephesians 5 and don’t see the problem being music. It’s our heart. I have been to stale, “Word-heavy” churches that sang old hymns and had no real impact on their lives outside of church.
I’d say what if we view our time of musical worship as both an opportunity to please God and welcome His presence in our midsts, AND to unite our congregation in love and focus on Him?
Every church with older worship styles is not universally more mature in true worship, and every church/group that is in more contemporary style is not universally stuck in performance, appeasing or manipulating God.
Genuine worship is much more than our music but it is certainly included in our music. Maybe we need to work on refining the expressions we have rather than excluding people who lead others into worship in a different (not heretical) way.

I disagree with this. This might not be your style of worship but it doesn’t mean it is wrong. David praised and worshipped God dancing in an undignified way! As long as the individual believer is worshiping God in spirit and in truth that is what matters. Worship doesn’t always have to be solemn. There is a time for that. I will sing, shout, dance around worshipping my Lord and Savior. I like your channel but don’t get carried away criticizing a style of worship you perhaps don’t understand. God bless.

What they are trying to explain in this video is that this kind of worship can be very misleading. The lights, the shouts, the whole atmosphere can mislead you into thinking that you are actually worshipping God but really, you are just worshipping man. Listen to the lyrics of these songs. Most of them are all about us and how we are so great & how God wants us to be great. Very few are about God & His majesty & faithfullness. I live in a country where the prosperity gospel is prevalent. I used to attend a very popular mega church in my country and this is how we used to worship. We even take popular secular music and add Jesus to it and it turns to a worship song. We even adopt the same dance styles that is seen in secular clubs including rolling our waist. When we are done with these dance sessions, you actually feel this high and you think you have worshipped God. Do not be deceived. David danced in an undignified way to show the unbelievers that he was less significant when it comes to his love for God. When you have to mimic the world's style of music then I don't believe that is an appropriate form of worship. Music is a very powerful stimulant. People in the clubs also have experiences when they listen to music with lights flashing. That doesn't mean the experience is from God.

    • @IkeyP58

The bigger issue is the words in the songs. Many of these songs are not centered around God at all. They’re centered around us and how we feel. And another issue, we think worship is music. If you look at the Bible there are only a few times that worship even talks about music. Worship is about our hearts and minds drawn to God. Through music, prayer, reading the word, talking about Him with others, etc. but it has to be about God, about the gospel, etc. Just because we feel something and begin to cry doesn’t mean it’s genuine worship.

      Hello🥰
Faith without works is about justification before men "Nothing" to do with our Salvation.
(James 2:1) James is speaking to all the Christians who are already saved when it's says "Brethren's" just to clarify that part.
Works wonts save you, its shows your fruits.
Works shows you have Faith but works won't save anyone because JESUS CHRIST DID THE WORKS!!!
This is about our dealings with others AND God dealing with us.
So If I show no mercy to others like despise the poor, God will judge and Chastise his son(who are saved already)

Repent of sins, Faith plus works(law) for Salvation is a damnable heresy that is mostly taught by “MANY” Pastors,Preacher and Teachers with large followings sharing a False Gospel of Salvation that will lead people to perish(broad path of destruction) because people are “NOT” understanding the context and “NOT”rightly dividing word of truth as Jesus Christ is the Strait Gate and “Few” will fine it written in Matthew7(Notice the words “Many and Few”. Jesus says himself that few find the way that leads to life speaking of Himself as Jesus is the only way to the Father(John14:4-6)
All Scripture is true, Its always Faith alone thats saves unless you believe God made errors and lied to us in half of scripture like 1Cort15:1-4. Rom6:23, Eph2:8-9, Rom10:9-10.Acts16:31 and John6:47.

@@Melanie_44 Melanie, sorry but you couldn’t be more wrong. 🤦🏽‍♀️False interpretation is spreading like wildfire and it’s sad. 😢 The masses pick and choose scriptures and is in error of God’s words.
The Holy Bible is read like a man made novel with carnal understanding by the masses. God’s words as written to us are holy and spiritual. Correct interpretation only comes by way of prayer, fasting for the Holy Spirit to teach God’s truth and bears witness. If we all put on the spiritual armor of God we would be unified in 1 correct understanding.
Perhaps you do not know what The Plan of Salvation is. Nevertheless, let me stay on topic. Faith Without Works is Dead. God’s words is clear and simple, but most of us twist it to with our narrative. Well here are some of God’s words that are plain and simple. I encourage you to go to him for correct understanding.
Y’all ignore “works” as if it doesn’t exists and not taught in the same Bible y’all read. Here are some BIBLE references. FAITH + WORKS = GRACE.
Let me simplify it. Jesus purchased the most expensive ticket with his life (GRACE) so we can return to HEAVEN. We accepted the ticket (FAITH). We can’t board the plane to HEAVEN without a passport. WE have to take a Passport picture and fill out the application (WORKS), otherwise we will be denied boarding.
      Revelation 20:12
12 “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” (KJV)
This scripture above is very clear that WE WILL BE JUDGED BY OUR WORKS. Whether Good and Bad. Most are deceived by satan that they only have to believe because Jesus did all the work so we can cruise on into heaven. False!!! False sense of security that keeps them in satan’s camp and their salvation/eternal life will be in jeopardy.
      James 2:26
26 “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”
      James 2:24
24 “Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.”
      Mathew 16:27
27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.”
      James2:22
22 “Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?”
      2 Corinthians 5:10
10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”
There are many more scriptures that confirms and proves that Faith without Works is Dead. Having Faith to receive Grace is the FIRST STEP, the SECOND STEP is TO DO. Action verb. WORKS.
      James 1:22
22 “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

Paul Washer has a bible study about fasting that says that the greek work for serve or serving refers to both service and worship. He says to think of service, worship, or ministering to God like the Levites and priests ministered to God in the tabernacle or temple. I can’t explain it well but I think of offering praises like incense and lifting hands to bless and praise the Lord. That’s worship now to me.

I've been going to First Church in Wheatfield, IN for around 5 months now. They have expanded quite a bit in the last 10 years and I believe they've always had the right intentions, but their heart isn't always in the right place.
Their pastor overall is really good, he teaches from the Bible and he has very good story analogies that help put in perspective what we need to be doing as Christians. His philosophy is that you come to church to be transformed and conformed to God's likeness, which is what you should be doing every day anyways.
However, the past few months, I've been seeing some yellow flags from them. Not every Sunday, but every other, their worship team will include a song from Elevation, Bethel, or Hillsong, all artists that are proven hypocrites. For their Easter Sunday service, they included pyrotechnic fountains at the end of their first worship song. And lastly, I've discovered that their social media page has supported Ukraine, the corporation of Israel (not the actual Bible based Israel), and Juneteenth all in the last few years.
Them going to every length to appeal to everyone is what's been leading me to these kinds of videos. I haven't left them yet, but I'm strongly considering doing so if they keep things like this up.
