I only played around with TASing few times and I then only thing I have is a decent knowledge about the checkpoint system, that's it; though, I swear the first message I ever wrote on discord after downloading it is in the MKW TAS server about a theory for a DC ultra, which was about getting on the arc on top of the finish line, wallclipping to the other side (since I noticed the invisible wall was very low) and then clip from the fountain to the end of the lap (an idea thar comes from a Charlie's video, just he does it on the other fountain to land at the beginning instead). Basically the only thing I missed is the tree bounce (which surprised me a lot the first time) and the fact that it was a very, very hard task (I tried on my own, but I couldn't even make it to the arc 🤣). I quickly found that I obviously wasn't the first thinking about this. Though, seeing one and a half year later that idea being fully realised was something unic. I don't know, but I developed a special feeling for that ultra among all the other ones 😅. That said, I still think the rPG ultra is amazing and I would put the rMC flap as 2nd place personally. Though, the DC ultra is the DC ultra.
really amazing video and editing, everything was so good. id like to give you a tip as a voter: make speed mode and cts votation optional, there are a lot of people like me who have never followed those categories and has to look for all the videos linked without even being interestes. everything else was perfect and i hope you will do that for next year too!

All I'm gonna say is that superhopping is probably gonna win strat of the year, and if it does, I'm gonna be so incredibly upset lol
