- Work on your leadership, your energy when greeting the dog.
There’s not need for anger.
Ignore until calm - Don’t give attention.
Put up a knee when the dog jumps. Brush the dog off you like a fly. No anger, no words, no exaltation. Just a simple gesture to make the dog go down.
Guests - Keep the dog separate until in a calm mental state, and you can also tell your guests to just ignore the dog once they get to meet each other. Once the dog is truly calm and balanced, it’s okay to interact, but only if both the guests and the dog wants to. They don’t have too interact. Sometimes it’s interaction enough just being in the same room.

I don't have a dog, but I know many people that do. Needless to say, many of them would do well to watch this video. Congratulations on having figured this out! I can tell that you think deeply about things, and pick up information well. This was a good video, keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for the encouragement! 🙏🙏😊
Yess, do make a video about separation anxiety ❤
Yes! I will very soon 😊👍
We have a crazy doberman and she jumps at everyone. I hate it, I'm autistic and jumping dogs is terrifying. Thank you for the advice.
@@Jedermeister I can understand that must be irritating. I hope the advice can help 🙏🙏
I hate it when I'm just walking outside and a random dog jumps on me. Usually the owner just laughs about it.
Yes! Its very disrespectful even even if you love dogs to have them jumping all over you 😅👍
My dogs are two different people. My Huskamute is very cooperative and polite by his nature, but my Germanees has a problem of jumping on people. I raised them the same way, but they're just very different dogs. My Huskamute doesn't make very much noise and doesn't try to jump on you. But my Germanees jumps on other people. He doesn't really jump on me, but he wants to see people and other dogs and getting him to be polite enough to socialize respectfully with kids and smaller dogs is tough. He has knocked over the neighbor kid once and I have to be more careful with him. It's a process of learning. I have started teaching him to sit when he meets people but unless I have very high value treats he doesn't listen because he gets too excited
@@amelioravictoriadionyssia3323 Yes, all dogs are most certainly not the same, and that’s why it’s so important for us as humans to understand our dogs so we can help them accordingly. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your dogs (especially the germanees) and I hope my videos can be of some help 🙏🐶
