- In this video I provide a breakdown of the costs involved with building my "budget" carbon 29er. I also elude as to what weight is achievable with my Voodoo Bizango Carbon after adding some upgrades!
The reason I name this bike as "budget" is because the amount of bike that you get for the money is really very good. Although this bike is currently out of stock, you can occasionally pick them up second hand. Unfortunately, some people are taking the p*ss with the prices at the moment, so please expect that for the time being. I have heard rumors' of a new Bizango Carbon coming out this spring - so it may be worth hanging on for that!
Overall this bike is brilliant for cross-country mountain biking and pretty good for occasional trail riding.

can you try on of the xc bikes from decathlon 🤷♂️ 1500£ seems pretty decent for the frame and components
I've had a number of decathlon bikes over the years and have always found them really good. I've had my eye on the XC900 for a while, seems like a really good bike. If I get the opportunity to try one I'll definitely make a video on it! Cheers!

I've been looking for a bicycle like that here in the states, but they don't sell Voodoo here in the states. All the other carbon hardtails are mostly for cross country racing. I don't want to spend too much money on them bike like that.

At the moment they are only available second hand, I have seen a couple on eBay over the past few weeks. There has been rumors' that a new model will be coming to halfords in the spring!
