Hi, many years ago after many years of promising i bought myself a "proper mtb" some may laugh, but it was a Voodoo HooDoo in electric blue and as i have wee small legs it was a small size frame. The day i got it really changed my life, i fell in love with a piece of beauty, my wee tank, I named him Hendrix. We went on trails, adventures even worked together (deliveroo for a year up to 70 miles per day) and every day he put a smile on my face. Hes now in retirement now after recently getting serviced and will likely stay with me for a long time as even just to see him brings memories flooding back. Anyways after watching your great videos and reviews of the voodoo bizango pro, i decided that's the bike for me. So today after a long 3 month wait for it to come into stock I finally placed my order! talk about a child at Christmas.. I may be the wrong side of 40 and may never push the bike to its limits but i believe i will certainly have a lot of fun and some new memories (hopefully not too many painful ones) but I just wanted to say thank you, and keep making the great videos. look forward to seeing more. Take Care.
Glenn, this is great news! Congrats on placing the order! Thanks so much for this. It's really nice to hear that my videos have had a positive impact. I have really been enjoying my Bizango pro (so hopefully you will do). I've ridden it on some pretty interesting trails and it handled them with no problem (and so far, no major injuries). Like you say, you may never push the bike to its limits, but Its not all about pushing to the limits. There are plenty of awesome adventure that can be had well within your comfort zone. I am sure you will do Hendrix proud adventuring on your brand new rig. Enjoy!
I had the orange 2019 model. It was awesome the only gripe would be the fork, sr suntour something. Couldnt resist swapping for a full sus after about a year or so....

I wish voodoo would have internal gear and break cabling I guess because it’s a Halfords bike they want to have cables external to be easier for Halfords staff to work on when a customer takes it back to Halfords for servicing or repairs.
Yeah they used to have a carbon bizango with internal cables. Don’t see many around though. I guess they are more entry level bikes and like you say, it is easier for people to work on the cables if they are external.
@@bikeandbeyond I seen a voodoo Bantu 2019 in cash converters for £229 it look like it hardly been used was gonna get it but the external cables put me of changed my mind then came back the next day to buy it and it had been sold. Using a Giant FCR4 2009 hybrid rn till I get a mtb.

Hello, just ordered this as it is finally back in stock. I'm also 5.10 and ordered large as x your description ( although seems to be borderline M-L). Are still happy with the chosen size?
Hi congrats on ordering your new bike. Yeah I really like the size. Being 5’10 I am always between the medium and large sizes. I found the medium to be a tad on the small size and a bit cramped. The lease seems like a really good fit.
For anyone reading who is interesting in sizing, I'm 5' 10" (178 cm), 178 cm reach, 32" inside leg using the method of no shoes, feet pedal width apart, hardback book up against the crotch and against a wall, measured from the spine of the book to the floor. I ride the Large frame size comfortably. XL would be too big for me. Standover clearance on a Medium would probably be better for me, but reach is better on the Large. If your inside leg measurement (using the above method) is less than 32" then the top tube of the Large will be very close to your crotch when standing astride the bike, feet flat on the ground.
Smart looking bike fella. I have to say, Deore brakes are a marvel of modern MTB. My Deores that came on my Bronson have only been bled once in 7 years and they still pack a punch and you've seen the size of me 🤣🤣 I look forward to seeing this in the flesh 👍
That’s gutting, hopefully they will have more in soon. Yeah the Roscoe range look good, although to get a bike at the same spec as the Bizango Pro you will have to spend a bit more money. The Roscoe 6 is a similar price, however is only a 10 speed, has lower quality forks and 27.5 wheels. Not to say it is a bad bike, just a bit lower spec then the bizango pro.
On your review you said the bike is eleven speed on halfords website it says twelve speed and after speaking to halfords they insisting on twelve speed. Can you coment as i will try an purchase one when they bcome available. Cheers👍

Good question. I couldn’t comment on the aluminium quality, but I would have thought they with any bike you would be replacing the components way before the frame let’s you down. Especially if you are looking to do XC rather than anything too harsh. The best thing you could do is go in to a halfords and have a sit on the bike (if they have any in stock). That way you can really have a good prod around and potentially chat with one of the bike mechanics. 👍🏻

No not sponsored unfortunately. The channel isn’t quite that popular yet 😃. Was riding the bike at the weekend, still really enjoying it.
In the description you said this is a size large 20 inch but the voodoo website says the large is a 19 inch and the xl 20 inch .
I have ordered the pro xl but I'm coming from the orange bizango and that was a xl 22 inch
Does this mean the pro is too small for me ?
That’s a great question. I will double check my stats (I may have got the sizing wrong in the video). My old orange bizango was a large and I have a large Pro, so you should be good.
BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT ORDER Voodoo Bizango Pro!!! Placed order on 8/4/22...still have not received my bike 4/4/23. Not once has the Voodoo followed through with the timeline that they give after I ask for an update. They are never proactive, and usually very slow to, or never, respond to my emails or messages. They admit that they show bikes in stock on their website when in fact they are not actually in stock!
Got a brand new one for dale size large
@@sweeneyTodd-de4by Be glad if you have access to them through Halfords. I'm pretty sure I don't want to own one now as their US subsidiary customer service is horrendous.
Cannock
It's deore 12 speed mate.
Yeah had to correct myself in the description
Ehhrrrmm is it 11 speed ? Are you sure ?
It’s a 12. I realised my error after the video had gone live. I put a note in the description, but too late to change the audio. 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
Sold out 🙄 ffs lol
Wow. They are selling like wild fire!
There back in stock be quick
@@mustafa24241 tried to order it today but the online agent and in store both still say no stock, even tho thier website says it is lol Halfords really are clueless cunts. Av just ordered a sonder transmitter, fuck them 🤣 cheers for the heads up tho bro, you are a gentleman 👍
So little detail, might as well have been an advert.
Probably why the title says bike check and not review.
The paint job looks shite.
