    I have two hardtails. Nukeproof and banshee. I don't have enough room to store a 3rd one. I would definitely buy buzango. It's a fantastic bike for the money and with few upgrades you can make it bike park friendly 👍🏻🔥

    I just put a Magic Mary on the front and a Big Betty on the back. I went for the Bike Park option which is not very soft, has a thick wire bead and are very heavy. Not the easiest tyres to fit. I have now changed them for the soft compound which is a much lighter option. Makes a huge difference is terms of grip and also drag.

    hi, love the chanel and the budget bike videos, just a heads up on the different grip liquids (e.g. water and hairspray). these are far more important on non lock on grips. with the lock on style they just slide on and then can be tightened down whereas with the non locking style they need friction to stay on. this means liquids like hair spray become very usefull beacuse they start off wet and then dry sticky. my personal favourites are brake cleaner and degreaser as i find they evaporate faster and leave less residue for future me. keep up the great content though!

    great vid, just brought myself a trek X-Caliber and want to upgrade some bits on that, especially mudguards and a dropperpost, so a visit to your mate I think as its not far from me. nothing worse than the sharp edges on cable ties when cleaning a bike, I just file the sharp bit down level with the bit you push the end through leaves a nice neat finish. can you change the link for the pedals as its the same link as the seat.

  • @maxflame21

    Cant say im a specialist. Simply bought a town bike but needed allen keys. Were almost convinced to just by park tool but just bought Bondhus ( red pack ) They actually make or give the rights to park tool. I saved money but also gained an additional amount of keys. Protranium obviously. Overtightened grips though. 3mm bolts are lame but grips are good. Not sure if ideal for your style but they are lizard skin northshore grips. Similarish to a mx ( dirtbike ) grip.

    A quick question. "What's the maximum tyre width for this bike?" knowing it runs 2.3 on the front and 2.25 on the rear. Could it run 2.4 or 2.5?

    Thanks for the video. For the grips, did you go for thick or thin, and do you know if there is much of a difference? I’ve always had stock grips but thinking of getting those deathgrips for my 2022 Bizango (not the pro though!)

    Your comment about adjusting the dropper got me thinking. I've also got the Brsnd X dropper on my Bizango but it goes up about 10mm too high. Am I right in thinking that if I raise the saddle to where its comfy I can then pull through the slack cable and retighten the lever. It would then only raise on its own to where I set it to instead of being too high?

    • @bikeandbeyond
      @bikeandbeyond  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      With the brand x I think you can only have up or down, rather than a specific height. One thing you can do is put the dropper as low in to your frame as you can. You also might be better off getting a shorter dropper.👍🏻

    Hello, nice little channel! I've looked at most of your video about the Bizango pro... that unfortunately is sold out till Sept. I'm quite of beginner of MTB in general... would you suggest:
    A) Wait for the pro
    B) Get the non pro and spend the difference on upgrades
    C) Consider the Boardman MHT 8.9
    THX

    • @bikeandbeyond
      @bikeandbeyond  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, good question. I guess it will depend on what type of riding you are looking to do. I have been taking my pro on anything from blue trails to off piste, so it is a hardy bike. The boardman looks like it is more geared towards XC riding (but seems good for the price). I used to use my old bizango (the bright orange one) on trails and small drops. It was fine to learn on, but after a couple of years I was regularly replacing parts. So it will depend on what type of riding you are planning. For me, the pro was the one to go for and worth waiting until September.
      Hope that helps 👍🏻

    • @Ratsmonk77
      @Ratsmonk77 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bikeandbeyond Ok. the plan is probably to use it more towards general XC with some easy trails (I'm based in the heart of the Chilterns). I'll take a better look at the BDman but do have to say your videos and other reviews really made me lean towards the voodoo and to wait till Sept (only feels a little shame to miss out on the nice weather as my previous ride got stolen). Thank you again

      Hi, I am 5''10 and I went for the large size. I sit right betweent the M and L sizes and just felt that the L rode a bit better for what I use it for. I have the brand x ascet dropper on it and I think I went for a 130 dropper, however I think I should have gone for one slightly bigger perhaps.

    Quick question, looking at bikes to start riding for fitness, currently 20st, would I be ok with this bike?

    • @bikeandbeyond
      @bikeandbeyond  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I don’t see why not. I am 14 stone and I take mine on 8 foot jumps with no problems. It’s definitely a capable spec for learning on. It would depend on the type of riding you are planning on doing I guess. If you are unsure, the best thing to do is to head in to Halfords and have a chat with them (if they have one in stock you could always have a sit on one and see how it feels).

    Hi again. I've had my bizango pro for a couple of days now . I'm coming from the orange bizango but first Impressions of the pro are the steerer headset feels closer to me than on the orange bizango . Did you feel this way coming from the 2018 bike ?
    Also the pro comes with a kmc chain .it looks great but there is a major problem with it
    The 6100 cassette fitted to the pro has shimano's hyperglide plus to make shifting under load smooth and consistent. The kmc chain fitted is not compatible with the hyperglide technology
    I rode my mates 6100 group set bike that has a shimano 6100 chain with hyperglide and the shifting is night and day especially under load .
    So I've ordered a shimano chain and will remove the kmc one . Just thought I would let you know my finding .thanks

    Halfords bikes aren't ready to hit the trail they are commuter bikes/wheelie bikes. Voodoo bikes use apollo and carrera parts. Anything stressful like big jumps and harsh bumpy trails will buckle the weak wheels and the tourney mech gears will crack best to stick to specialized, trek, giant, gt, cannondale, merida, ghost, cube, whyte, schott bikes for trails mate.

    • @paulbaker7675
      @paulbaker7675 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      All those bikes you name are junk and heavy unless you spend over £2000. Even a £1900 spesh fuse comes with a recon fork. I would rather this bike with a decent fork, wide ratio deore shadow gearing and exo casing tires for half the price. Voodoo make solid frames too. You need to stop reading MTB magazines and ride some bikes!
