    Hardtails on hard trails! As I can only have one bike it needs to cover all my types of riding, I got a hardcore Ti hardtail so I can do long days in the saddle but also hit the bike park. FlyUp 417 is my local and hardtails are great fun there, a bit sketchy on some of the rocks but smiling down the hill nonetheless. Great video and happy new year!

      Thanks dude. Happy new year. Yeah the 417 rock gardens are nasty pieces of work 🤣

    Cool vids , what tyre pressures do the run on muddy trails ?

      @@mtbtomfoolery Awesome, they’re a great winter bike (or all year round if you love them like me 😂). I am toying with the idea of getting a FS enduro bike at the end of this year if I improve enough but I’d be keeping the HT for sure.

    Do you still have the 2018 Bizango? It would be interesting to see a climbing comparison - how long does it take you to get up the same steep hill with the 42 tooth lowest gear on the 2018 bike compared to the 51 tooth low gear on the Bizango Pro?

    • @bikeandbeyond

      Nice idea. I did something similar on the channel with the 2018 Bizango and my endurobike. I still have the old Bizango, butIt isn’t in a rideable at the moment because it needs a couple of new parts. Need to get it fixed!

    Hi, still on the look out for one of these, at 5ft'8 how do you think the large 20" frame would feel? Wondering if I should size up - Halfords size chart I'm a medium.

    • @bikeandbeyond
      @bikeandbeyond  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, that’s a tricky one. I am 5ft 10 and find the large a pretty good fit. I usually sit between the medium and large size recommendations. I would have thought you would be more comfortable on a medium than a large, just for the manoeuvrability. You may find that a size large with 29inch wheels feels a bit too awkward. When halfords get them in stock it’s definitely worth going in and having a test on both sizes.

    • @maxflame21

      Definitely go for a medium frame. Had a VooDoo Mambo 27.5+ as my first bike and decided to go large at 5'11, and i regretted it. I'm now on a medium hardtail with slacker geo and with some minor ergon changes its perfect.

    Do you think you will change to an oval chainring at all like on the 2018 model? It was your video about wider bars and oval chainring that made me buy both. Great video as usual 👍

    • @bikeandbeyond
      @bikeandbeyond  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks dudeX Yeah I have a couple of upgrades planned. I love wide bars and really get on with the oval. Fat wait to get upgrading!

    Picked up a bizango last week & took it out on my local blue trail on Sunday just gone, I was really impressed on how well it climbed & felt on the decent. Not done any red trails yet but after seeing this I’m very confident it will smash it. Hoping to get a dropper added soon but on the fence about going tubeless…what are you running on yours? Thanks.

    • @bikeandbeyond

      Nice work. Glad you are enjoying the new bike. I am currently running tubes, but purely because it has been too cold in the garage to mess about converting to tubeless. It shouldn’t take too long, I am just being a wimp. I am going to go tubeless pretty soon (watch this space for a bizango upgrades video 😂).

    How the hell did you get ahold of one of these I had to settle for the non pro version as halford had no idea when they’d get them back in stock

    • @bikeandbeyond
      @bikeandbeyond  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah they are hard to come by at the moment. I was really lucky. Although, the 2022 ‘normal’ Bizango looks pretty good too.

    What would you go for if youre 6ft 1, bit awkward between the L and XL?

    • @bikeandbeyond
      @bikeandbeyond  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah that’s a tricky one. It will depend on how you ride and the type of terrain etc. I had a similar issue being between the M and L sizes. I thought that the M would be just a tad too small, and luckily the large is a pretty good fit for me (I am 5ft10). So perhaps the XL might be a better option for you? Best thing would be to go and have a sit on one when they are in stock.

      @@bikeandbeyond is the standard Bizango the same Frame geometry as the Bizango pro? im measuring 5'10 and 1/2 with a 31" inside leg and have ordered a Medium frame in the bizango but I tried out a Boardman MHT 8.8 Medium which is also an 18" frame but the standover height it a bit tall for me stand flat footed

    Great video! I’m thinking of getting a bizango and was wondering if you think it would work for me? I live in the Brecon Beacons so there’s plenty of trails and parks around, but I’m also looking for something I can ride for 20 mins on the road and muddy canals in the mornings before work. Do you think the bizango/pro is a good bike for this? Or is it unsuited to varied use outside of trails? Cheers!

    • @bikeandbeyond
      @bikeandbeyond  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah the Bizango would be a great bike for that. I used my old Bizango for a commuter bike for a while and it was awesome.

    Anything haven't liked about the voodoo bizango Pro yet

    • @bikeandbeyond
      @bikeandbeyond  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No dislikes yet. I am looking at making ‘the usual upgrades’ that you make when getting any new bike (grips, pedals etc), but there is nothing that I don’t like on it. In a couple of months when I have ridden it for long enough, I will do a proper bike review.
