I just realized that if there was a 99.999999999% chance of peach returning and the only reason Mario and Luigi go back in time is to find peach, this entire game’s story had a 0.0000000001% chance of happening. I guess Mario and Luigi are THAT unlucky
This game is HELLA underrated. Everyone that i knew as a kid and on the internet at the time all said that the regular shroobs enemies had way too much hp and power stat. To me, i loved my time on it every second on it. We can all agree that partners of time is dark as hell for a mario game. Like, u see some random toad getting his life energy being sucked from a tree and becoming a part of it... AND U CAN STILL INTERRACT WITH THEM

If they decide to remake this game I ask for only 3 things 1) make the present time have its own story and things to do. Maybe as a side content 2) lower the enemies health 3) balance the bros moves by not making them item drops( they are OP in this game ), and bring back BP lol. Other than those, it’s my fave game in the series. Those fixes would just make it a plus in my book
I was literally the same way, I played almost every single Mario and Luigi title except instead of PiT, it was BIS for me. Totally can’t wait to watch the rest of the series!

When brothership got annouced, the only m&l game i had played was superstar saga on nso, so i dedicated myslef to play the other 4 before it released, and now I'm on the final boss fight of Paper Jam and will likely finish tonight. And of them all, this game I enjoyed the most. It's also the only one i've played twice(weird story) and i liked it a lot more on the second run for some reason
Honestly, the Bros Moves being items isn't as bad as people think it is. Bros Moves are everywhere in item boxes, and you can buy them at the main castle, so you are never gonna run out unless you neither explore, or you just really suck at Bros Moves. Don't be afraid to use them in enemy encounters, ever since I was a kid, I would fight every enemy, and I still had them to spare.
@@MagikarpMania32 that’s the literal problem with bros moves being items lol. It’s very busted and eventually makes hammers and jumping useless. It’s mostly just a balancing issue, which is most likely why they brought back BP in the following games.
@@malimaui2802 I definitely agree that BP is better, I just wanted to state that people believe it to be a dumb mechanic for being a resource, when that is not the issue with them being items. Additionally, you're right in that they're overpowered, but they kinda have to be, mainly because of how tanky the enemies and bosses are in PiT. I think if it were the Japanese version, then they would truly be overpowered.

I had all the DS Mario and Luigi games when I was younger and despite its many flaws like long tutorials (I mean seriously havinig two tutorial fights that are basically the same is ridiculous) I loved this game so much.

The only reason I knew this game existed was because some guy at like Target or something saw me play BiS and showed me it, and my Nana bought it for me. I got stuck at Baby Bowser’s Castle for like a week because I wasn’t paying attention at the shrine part at the end, but wherever that guy is nowadays I hope he is successful in his life

How so?
