Excellent vocabulary framing using specific words to intrigue your interest then instead of moving on he has examples or explains his intent. This is just a well made video period. Mucho information sir.
#7 is definitely applicable to more than just baseball. I throw javelin and throwing too hard too often can wear down the arm for sure, something I may unfortunately be able to vouch for.
@@aidanbrennan7589 I’ve been trying an inward toe point. It’s really just allowing me to get a lot of separation and really speed my arm up. Another thing is control. Since my hips have been firing more efficiently, I am able to place balls where I want consistently. Shoutout Tread for this.
Congrats on your show my opinion you're the best I have seen on the internet. Not taking away from the others cause we learn some from everyone but you're company is the only one that cover about everything about pitching. GOD BLESS plz do a breakdown on pedro martinez my opinion smartest pitcher cause not only mechanics reading the hitters and positioning the baseball. Good job God bless you all
I love baseball but play golf now that I'm getting up there in years.I'm a student of the game and a science teacher. Love the "trial and error" based on science approach. Also, several of these hacks apply to golf. Foot placement, grip, hip movement ("X" factor in golf.) Excellent video ...
Wow! It's interesting to me how i think about the small things like this and determine them for myself. I then end up looking them up and im usually right which is cool. Keep up the good work on the information! Athletic Nerds like me need them. I found out that the backfoot facing inside a little bit helps the knee keep tension.
I don't play baseball anymore but these videos are super interesting. It's incredible how much smarter and analytical training has become since I played 20 or so years ago. Just curious, to what degree of penetration into the general baseball population has this type of training and analysis reached? As in, is your average HS school coach at all familiar with any of these methods?
Really no one is getting this type of training 90% of high school coaches don’t understand any of this and I play college ball and still haven’t heard of really any college coaches doing any of this training. We still just do the ole long toss and your velo will go up. Only pitching geeks which I myself am really buy into this type of training but it really does work and I wish more coaches would spend time learning this type of style.
@@jjgray2410 im in 40s and putting this stuff to test..i will let u know lol..used to throw around 90 tho..its an everyday operation tho..bascly need to be super explosive
For Velo hack 3, I can relate. I was throwing a four seamer this late winter/early spring that was 67-71 with 1600 spin. Then my coach told me to try two seam, and it was more 74-76. With lifting, a strong throwing program, and nutrition, I have gotten up to 81.5 on my fastball with about 2000 RPM.
Hey. I throw pretty hard, but I keep getting elbow pain and don’t know how to stay tall. It’s hard for me and I’m wondering if there is any way you can help? If I could email a short video would that work?
Man I had the same thing happen to me. I had no idea it would happen, I’m 5.10 and thought my speed was capped for a 15 year old. Now I’m sitting 82-83. I’m so amped
Folks the title is for views but please don’t think there isnt any “hack” to throwing harder. Make a living in the weight room, long toss, practice great arm care, train with weighted balls, simplify your mechanics .
@@treadathletics I understand! Sometimes people, especially parents need a second reminder. We also need to make “real talk” videos about velocity sometimes having genetic elements to it as well. Not every average Joe with elite training and persistence can throw 95 mph. It’s time we be real with folks.
It's like a Ted Talk, but actually useful.
18 years to late but my son will eat this shit up
This content is too good... gonna come back and rewatch it over and over
Leave some views for the rest of us!
This is one of the best vids out on this probably- needs more views. Very good presentation, thanks!

The foot placement tip helped me so much. Literally allows me to fully rotate my pelvis
what way do u point it

same an outward toe point makes it feel so much smoother
can you guys do a more in depth video discussing the inward angle of the backfoot ? Amazing content as always !
play this in 1.25x or 1.5x, thank me later
I watch most TH-cam videos in fast forward - love it!

I like these ideas. Very simple to implement and follow. Thank you.
this is good to know because I've hooked the rubber all my life so the first one could help me alot

My coaches sure weren’t
in your age trying to see if can get to 95...not easy so far lol

@@jjgray2410 Most coaches don't understand where velocity comes from. All they say is to push hard and don't drag your foot as it will delay momentum.
Appreciate the video!
Make sure to give the old school wind up a try, it worked for me
Superb content! It is extraordinarily well formulated and explained
just excellent, thanks!!
I’m 14
I never really tried to throw as hard as I could when I pitched when I was young but now I do and I can throw 70-75+mph
Thanks man
dope info 🔥
Excellent

Can you do a breakdown on Luke little’s mechanics? He throws 105 mph
Yes at some point

These were really good points.
i was interested in knowing what the “ideal” timing sequence is.
Curious how much these fellas work on external rotation. (Pushing knees out while squatting)
Thats so crazy everytime i mess around and throw from the old school windup playing catch or something i feel so much fast
I tried it today after scrapping it for years and was faster and more consistent, thus more accurate
Ong it’s the best hack. I love it so much
Can you do a video on glove side mechanics? I can't feel when to unlock my glove side when pitching.
Any tips on how now to lead with my elbow when pitching?
wait wait wait YOU WENT TO MARYLAND!!!!????
I went from 80 to 82 in one day from changing my spot on the rubber ( I’m 14 )thank you🙏

Yep that's what the video talks about! People on TH-cam straight up don't click on some videos unless you give them a clickable title unfortunately.

How to gain 5-10mph with this drill🤧🤧
Haha wish it were always that simple!
#1 thing to increase velocity....get a radar gun
actually this is great advice assuming a guy knows what they're doing and has a plan to follow!
