I really enjoy your channel and I have a really big Gelli plate that I have yet to use! I think it’s going to be awesome! Love the prints you pulled and the great results of adding the Payne’s gray and Vandyke brown!💕🇨🇦
@@PaintedPaperStudio that’s the absolute beauty of the gell plate, you never know and it’s so much fun pulling up the paper and seeing the result for the first time! I was as thrilled as you were when you turned that over, that is why it is addictive!💕🇨🇦
I absolutely adore all of your content! My husband and I watch every episode and enjoy it right along with you. Also, I wanted to point out that your debit card information is clearly visible in a few shots and it worried us because of how things are nowadays😓 please take care of yourself and stay safe! You’re our favorite TH-camr ❤️
Lydia, this means so much to me! Please say hello to your husband for me 😄 - do you create art together? As for the debit card, I appreciate your concern. That account is long gone by maybe 8 years, but I will certainly be more careful in the future. Thank you so much for spending your time with me (both of you!) 🥰
I really enjoyed watching this video. Bringing the essence of a big plate pull into a tiny book is an interesting experiment. Thank you for sharing, Jackie 🤩
I really enjoy your channel and all the beautiful painted papers you make. I also enjoyed watching you put them in your journal in this one. Everything came out so lovely! Thank you for sharing.
This was so much fun and interesting. I would caution, though, that you shouldn't store your plate with the original acetate it arrives in, instead use two sheets of copy paper on each side. That will prevent plate bubbles. Gelli Arts also recommends removal of the original plastic sheets and storing with copy paper on each side.
Kathy, you are 100% right, that is exactly what the manufacturers recommend, and normally I do dispose of the plastic sheets. However, I know how rough I am on my supplies (and my studio), so I choose to protect the giant plate (and only the giant plate) this way. So far the bubbling has not shown up on my print pulls. I keep my fingers crossed 🤞🏻

Wasn't that wild Cindy?! I really did not expect those results from those colors-it's exactly why I love gel printing so much!

Would ove to see some of your finished work, using these papers

Fascinating stuff! Thank you 🎉🎉
Thank you, Laura 🥰
I keep mine in the original acetate and cardboard too, and the bubbles don’t matter. I love it.
Yes - I really haven’t noticed a bubble problem either 😀
Been loving my 12x12 but that is probably as big as I can get LOL! Love the writing in the journal.
Hi Joyce! Yes, a 12x12 is a really big plate, too. I love my 16x20, but the truth is I use it 75% of the time as a giant palette 😍

The idea originated in contrast - a visual language I try to explore a lot. I'm so happy you enjoyed it. 💜
Thank you it's lovely work. But when I saw giant gelly plate I was hoping you would do a large piece of work
Have no fear Helen, the next video has giant gel plate goodness - I think you'll enjoy it 💜

Thank you Patricia - it's kind of scary sharing journal pages, but I really loved where this one went. 🥰
@@PaintedPaperStudioI agree it can be scary, but you are truly so talented. I look forward to your posts.
It is a pleasure listening to you describe the process. Beautiful work, thanks
Thank you very much, Sigrun! 😀
Beautiful ❤❤❤
Thank you Ana Paula! 😀
Oooooooooooh………..Very cool patterns from the interesting Gelli plate. 💕👍💕
Thanks Rozan - that one was completely surprising in the end. 🥰
You’re most welcome. Such an enlightening reward brought on by your enthusiastic inspiration. Loved that glowing surprise ending. 💖😀
Wowo gotta have that gelli plate! Didn't know they made them that big. This was fun.
I know - once you've seen it, you can't un-see it 😂 😂 😂 Thanks for being here Joyce!

I just read your responses to other comments that answered me.
Hooray for sea life!! Also love seeing the created papers used in someway/anyway.
Thank, you Susan! 🥰
Love how detailed your videos are! I always feel like I learn so much!
Thank you Rory, they're really fun to make! 🥰
Love the colors, texture @ shapes!
Thank you Susie - this really was a fun one for me. 😀
Really liked this video!
Thank you, Catherine! 😀
What is your setup for drying the papers?
Buy a large enough plexiglass frame that has depth. Put it in there with a sheet of Mylar to cover it.
Great suggestion, Bee - thank you. 🥰
There are oodles of bubbles in the plate, how do use that without the bubbles showing?
Hi Lynn, could you tell me what time in the video you're referring to? I made this over a year ago, and am not sure which part to respond to. 🥰
@@PaintedPaperStudioI saw all the bubbles as soon as you removed the acetate. Maybe it just doesn’t matter since you are cutting up the prints anyway.
Hi beautiful awesome work💟💖💟💝💟💗💞💝❤💟💖💞❤♥💖💖💟❤💛👏💛👏💛💕💞❤❤♥💖💟💖
Thank you very much!
Do Not use copy paper … that will stick on the plate.
Hi Lynn - i actually use copy paper a lot - and its never stuck on the plate. I wonder if I'm using a different weight of copy paper than you?
