Well I got 3 and can’t wait for my happy mail. I’m working on a new cancer book so the circles will work great with the new book. Thanks so much for a great demo
I love it when you to get together! I can see you two sitting around with a nice bottle of wine and giving those great names all the Dorothy dot stencils!
I am so happy I stumbled across your channel! Love love love this video! Thank you so much. Will be getting the stencils and making these soon! 💜💗 new subscriber you’
Loved this tutorial! I haven’t had my gel played out in about five or six months, and had fun doing this one. I used what I had on hand stencil, wise, and paint wise and loved my results. The only thing was my turquoise color paint was not cooperating and coming up with the darker translucent blue, but other than that fun exercise,
I’m glad you enjoyed it! Teal has a decent amount of titanium white in it, and white, always likes to hang onto the plate a little bit longer than other colors. Try using more pressure with your hands and letting the paper sit there for a little bit longer so the paint can grab onto it!
These look so fun! I'm glad you cleared up my confusion about the Dorothy connection. I kept thinking Wizard of Oz Dorothy and gingham. I was wondering about the dot connection. BTW, I have a sweet hen (she's a Blue Splash Maran chicken) named Dottie. All the more reason to buy these great new stencils! I love your tutorial tidbit videos. Thank you so much for making and sharing so generously!
Dot is a nick name for Dorothy :) Yes ALL the more reason for the stencils with Dottie the Blue Splash Maran chicken! How fun. My pleasure with the videos, I appreciate your support in purchasing the stencils!
I love the metallic design that Barb did but instead of dye sprays, what could I use instead? Would Acrylics soak though the back of the paper (I don’t want reactivation of the sprays for use in collage, hence could you recommend maybe fluid acrylics for ex, please?).
I would put a small spray pump top directly into Golden High Flow and follow the same steps! OR water down fluid acrylic and brush it through the back.
@@ElizabethStHilaire that’s a great idea- you meant putting the high flow acrylics into a spray pump bottle and spraying through the back (instead of the dye spray) right? Thanks so much ! 💗
@@arleenaartvark1141 yes, but I would just get a travel size spray bottle snd add the sprayer directly into the high flow bottle. Then just clean the sprayer nozzle and you still have your paint in the bottle!
Fantastic video! I can’t seem to find Pyrol red light in the Amsterdam series . Can you tell me the the name or number of the red Amsterdam acrylic? Not sure if I heard right . Thank you
Hi it was part of a large boxed set of Amsterdam paint from Joggles, pyrolle red. We had it there on site for filming but I don’t have it in my possession now. Joggles sells it: shrsl.com/3s9o4 just look for Pyrolle Red. :)
Lovely set of dots! You often talk about the protective cover you use on your table, that can be bought by the meter from Joggles. What is the name of that protective sheet, please?
Cool stencils & techniques, especially the spray stain soak. Unfortunately Joggles seems to have run out of almost all the stencils I like though & that is an awful lot of stencils! 😢
just click the "notify me" button and they will let you know when they are back in stock. they are GREAT about restocking fast and getting back to you!

You and Barb together are the Marx Brothers of art-making -- always a joy to see what you're up to❤
LOL right? Ha ha ha ha she's very serious without me though...

Where do you get the rice paper you use in several videos?
Is there something similar to it sold on Amazon?
All links for all supplies are below the videos. Thanks!

I just checked and mine used in this tutorial are ALL still in stock.
I have a question… since many of the sprays are reactivated with water, do you find it a problem when gluing them to your collage?
I don’t use the sprays, Barb uses them for different projects
Are the sprays stable?
I’m not sure, I believe they are dye based
What. The heck are we suppose to do with all these prints
I use them in collage artwork, visit PaperPaintings.com
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻🎨 goody!
