As a huge London Transport fan I found this video to be excellent and nice to see some UK style builds for a change. The Docklands is my favourite part of London and have seen it change massively over the years although Canary Wharf remains my favourite building there. My first trip on the DLR was back in 1987 when I was 4 not long after it opened and was then run by single unit trains that had bus style doors, the original units didn't last long being replaced by similar looking vehicles and are currently at work somewhere in Germany as trams. Great work and I'll look forward to future videos from you.
Coming back to this after doing quite a bit more building, there are a couple of ways you can simulate a lift, since Ronyx69's lifts are... glitchy to say the least. It's too bad, they are excellent models, and they still might have some use here. 1) Create accessability lifts that are just props. There are lots of assets you can turn into PO, including Ronyx's, to make raelistic looking(but nonfunctional) lifts. 2) Use paths to connect the levels, and make the path connecting the two levels vertical or near-vertical. Now, with Node Controller, you can even control the width of tthe paths. Test the vertical paths with actual cims; they should enter on the bottom and pop right out the top. If they are working, replace them with invisible paths like always, and you have a functional, custom lift!
Amazing once again. What baffles me is how effortlessly you select one thing that occupies the same space as several others without grabbing one of the others in the process. It must be magic. I love the DLR. I worked on building systems at Canary Wharf around 1990, then in later years contracting in IT working at HSBC, Citibank and Barclays Capital before retiring to Asia. I miss the DLR as I travelled on it every day from Lewisham mainline rail. Great job, man!
Oh! This is great comment, not just because of your lovely feedback but because it means I need to show this in more detail during the wash-up video. I’m using a feature in Move It called step-over to cycle through overlapping items. Just hold ctrl down and the press tab to highlight a different object.
Another amazing build, I'm building an overground light rail system with trams and this can easily be translated the same way, thank you for the inspiration
@@kjmci I will be probably remaking my home city, and this looks a lot like a metro system i always wanted in my home city as a child (however I will be using overhead wires to power the trains)
i thought the super structure was rather unrealistic, the roof didn't quite cover the whole concourse and the glass walls didn't quite touch the roof plus the entrance escalators were uncovered this is also quite unrealistic i would have used more glass sheets and a concreate roof to connect the super structure to the entrance building
Fantastic build, thank you for showing! Curious about the MoveIt option of importing/exporting, would you ever consider uploading these somewhere ? Some of us really struggle to use PO 😢
I feel that the purpose of these is to show everyone the techniques I use so that you can make your own, and more importantly, fit stations into the environment around them rather than just plopping something that was meant for somewhere else. If there are specific techniques you'd enjoy a detailed explainer on, let me know and I'll make it the focus of a future video.
There is some support in the base game to select which vehicles you want to use - open the line view, and click the icon of the train for the line you want to change. For more granular control, I use this mod: Improved Public Transport steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=928128676
Someone didn't listen closely! I did try, but it kept glitching as a functional asset and I didn't bother to plop it in as a non-functional addition when I came back from the crash.
@@kjmci ah ok i heard it now. but dude, it still looks amazing. Even in norway there are stations that is not fully accessible. so i'm not bothered by it.
Watched all three videos and thanks for the indeeped how to use node / nodeless tracks. It always just didn't work! Now again on with the development of my rail network. Maybe better than for these videos.

@@kjmci Brilliant! .. Thank you, I will give step-over a try while you do the washing up.

this looks mad interesting, i gotta watch all the episodes , finna sub 💯💯💯
sheeeesh I have all the assets I need, probably more than what I need. I have to get more inspiration and creativity!
So underrated :D
You definitely earned a new sub. Awesome build!
Thank you so much!
Beautiful. You earned yourself a new subscriber. This will be very useful to make my cities look better.
Awesome, thank you!

Awesome work. Love these videos gives me ideas for me own city building!!!
Glad to hear it! If there's anything specific you'd like to see in future episodes, please do let me know.
You made another amazingly realistic build! Keep up the work!
This is fantastic!!!
This is so well done! Please keep the videos coming!!!!!
I'm already working on the final edit of Episode 04 :)

Can you make a video of how you downloaded the DLR? I subscribed to it but dont know how to get it in game

I‘m embraced by the fact that I didn’t have subscribe to the channel yet! 😱 But now I won’t miss any video.
As punishment, I'm unsubscribing from Titan's channel. You did this!
well done :)
Could have added elevator for the accessibility

Anyone know where I can find the Pillars?
Fairly sure it’s from this collection: steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1282341754

Glad it helped!
ah yes VIENNA GERMANY
would be nice of you can do it even more complicated....didnt get nothing at all....dang
Hey, I'm not quite sure what you mean by your comment. I'm always happy to take feedback on-board, but could you rephrase it perhaps? :)
