At 10:56, I actually think the path looks more realistic as the wood boards wouldn't curve around the corner, they would almost always stay straight. I don't think the warping is that noticeable either. Thanks for the very useful video, Akruas!

Its not unusual to make that diagonal cut either so it actually holds up very well.

For people that spend time landscaping and decorating their cities heavily for aesthetic purposes, this video just upped their game a ton.

The tips for working with the keys and the pedestrian paths really make a huge difference. Thanks for sharing your vast gameplay knowledge.

Tadoke thanks for pointing out how N.C. can be used on other types of networks. I never even thought about using it on surface or terraforming network assets. I'm really enjoying these 'experiment sandbox demonstrations' videos. It's like learning art skills and techniques. I'm excited over the fact one can achieve insane results using very limited resources.

10:55 I really like the straight edge on it even with the distortion in the Planks, but it makes much more sense from a production standpoint, cutting the wood on an angle is much easier than the bend or creating a connection to a concrete base

7:50 being able to create what looks like a seating area with some benches, imagine adding those tower viewers (coin operated binoculars) you get at tourist areas. Maybe a potted plant and hot dog cart? lol

I had no idea that node control did all that. I just thought it was for flattening or sloping nodes. Also I didn't know node-less tracks worked. Thank you for this video! You should do one on move it!

As far as i know the only limitation in the newest version of "Renewel" is the independent manipulation of node ends

I can independently manipulate the node ends just fine. But it won't touch the decorative networks, which is a disappointment. Seriously need to do work with this on quays.

I use it on network walls to make them thin and more realistic. And surfaces so they can fit an area.

I have used it to make the walls really wide so as to replace quays. This gets around some of the annoying side effects of using quays.

So there's a few things it can do that renewal can't, but I'm almost wondering if there's anything renewal can do that the original can't 🤔 (besides just being so much quicker and a lot of things)
