At 10:56, I actually think the path looks more realistic as the wood boards wouldn't curve around the corner, they would almost always stay straight. I don't think the warping is that noticeable either. Thanks for the very useful video, Akruas!
Tadoke thanks for pointing out how N.C. can be used on other types of networks. I never even thought about using it on surface or terraforming network assets. I'm really enjoying these 'experiment sandbox demonstrations' videos. It's like learning art skills and techniques. I'm excited over the fact one can achieve insane results using very limited resources.
10:55 I really like the straight edge on it even with the distortion in the Planks, but it makes much more sense from a production standpoint, cutting the wood on an angle is much easier than the bend or creating a connection to a concrete base
7:50 being able to create what looks like a seating area with some benches, imagine adding those tower viewers (coin operated binoculars) you get at tourist areas. Maybe a potted plant and hot dog cart? lol
I had no idea that node control did all that. I just thought it was for flattening or sloping nodes. Also I didn't know node-less tracks worked. Thank you for this video! You should do one on move it!
I can independently manipulate the node ends just fine. But it won't touch the decorative networks, which is a disappointment. Seriously need to do work with this on quays.
Hey. So you use the Node controller Renewal, right? One of the things I haven't found yet is the "Segment End controller". Does anyone know how to find this? Or is it a different mod?
So there's a few things it can do that renewal can't, but I'm almost wondering if there's anything renewal can do that the original can't 🤔 (besides just being so much quicker and a lot of things)

Its not unusual to make that diagonal cut either so it actually holds up very well.
Node Controller is truly game changing! I can't believe that it wasn't made earlier! :O
Some fantastic ideas 👍
OMG 😳 is that biffa 😳 please send me a salute man..:^)
For people that spend time landscaping and decorating their cities heavily for aesthetic purposes, this video just upped their game a ton.
The tips for working with the keys and the pedestrian paths really make a huge difference. Thanks for sharing your vast gameplay knowledge.

Really cool video! Also hearing you explaining it with such excitement in your voice definitely makes me want to open C:S right now lol
This is awesome! Thank you for all those tips and tricks
I’m offended that you’re so good with this stuff, lol. Thanks for opening our eyes to the potential of Node Controller. This was nuts!!!
Great video!!! Well done! 👏👏👏 Saved it to my playlist for CS!
This makes it possible to make some crazy nice nature walk parks.

As far as i know the only limitation in the newest version of "Renewel" is the independent manipulation of node ends
Which is rather important imo
+ ability to manipulate those decorative networks.

Oh man! Can you do an entire video about how to properly use the Railway tracks? I have been trying to use them but have been struggling!
Node controller is definitely procedural objects for networs
Well... it has the potential to be, but..... if so, it's currently a foetus to P.Os 20something (roughly... I rarely and barely use P.O).
Really interesting ideas, hopefully Macsergey will have a look and make it possible in NCR, the beta already supports the decorative networks
So many ideas and possibilites 😱
Finally smoother railway junctions!
V prvních patnácti sekundách videa mi bylo jasné, že jsi Čech 😃 Twitter to potom potvrdil. Tvoje angličtina zní skvěle, neber to jako výtku 😊
Dík :)
Some useful ideas, thanks.
My tab button does not change the loops direction only my pc goes full screen. I looked for it in options but have no idea what to change?
my god this is so helpful !! Thanks for making this video.
Wow lots of stuff you can do with the old one. The new one just doesn't seem close to as good. Thank you for this video. Great ideas.
On your arched path how do you get segment ends in the middle of the path?
This video is next level Cities Skylines nerdery, and I love it.
Thank you !!!👍
Amazing thanks

No, this is NC2, not NCR,
So good 👌
This is very useful 💚💚💚💚
Awesome ideas, thank you! Now sad because there's all these newly inadequate areas in my city that I need to fix up... :)
Thanks!
Watch a lot of your video's. Can you tell us what mods/tools you have on your UI? I don't recognize the one in the center.
Hide It and Resize It
Thank you
Good ideas - Thanxalot
I use it on network walls to make them thin and more realistic. And surfaces so they can fit an area.
I have used it to make the walls really wide so as to replace quays. This gets around some of the annoying side effects of using quays.
Great! 👍🏾😎
I have not been able to bring up the segment end part or ui in the old or new mod please can someone tell me how. Please
Need to hold alt.
How do you stop the grass glitching through the pedestrian paths?
Need to put pavement below it, with this for example steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=416103351
use hide it and hide grass sprites
Hi! What are you PC specifications?? Thanks!:)
It's in the About page on this channel.

I saw the changes to a node less raised per path and thought about using the offsets to make a 90° path corner...
~MIND BLOWN~POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFF~
Is there any reason why you are still using the old version of node controller instead of the 3.0 version?
There is, its said the video.
This really needs to be in venilla CS2
nice
this reminds me of taking auto CAD
cool
1:28 Not really feasible for lower end players.
Wow
Im literally watching this video with my jaw dropping lower every minute
It seems like the new node controller still can't do these
