We need a mod to help us with the Railway mod, insane how complex it is to create ordinary-looking tracks.

In CS 2 this should all be included with just one click! They should get some Inspiration from transport fever 2

Can't you just build an S-curve using the free-form road tool, with another node in the middle? Or does that not fit in here? (I guess it works better when your rails are farther apart.)

Looks great. Just, I was not able to recreate that with Node Controller 3

This reminds me of something I've been wondering. Is there track in the workshop that is single track, but two way? I mean IRL there's no such thing as one way track and having one way track in-game makes it hard for me to build the rail the way I want.

I'm joining all the Station with this same tricks but the trains are crossing each other as "X"... I checked all the lines, upline to downline shunting or downline to upline shunting but the trains didn't follow that route, they always follow "X" crossing in front of Station

Haven't played for a while, but isn't it possible to change the node type in node controller? Like, into a node type that makes the game think the node is two straights connected, effectively creating an s-curve. Maybe it doesn't work like that in this instance though.
Edit: Ok, just watched the end properly. Curious that it seems to not actually work that way. I just remember playing with roads and being able to essentially make s-curves "after the fact", but I presume (node less) rail might work differently.

City Skylines needs a lot of work. Try laying out a simple Y railway connection it does not work. There are far too many faults with this game. To fix anything you have to install many mods. It should have at least the basics figured out. It does not.

I have a multi platform station on a hilly terrain, the y joints look absolutely horrible even after 20 tries because yep it does not work, a total mess

If only building railways in Cities Skylines is a lot like in Transport Fever 2
