I love the models of the ADL Metro 3000 class units! I would never have thought that someone would’ve made on, there pretty uncommon on the world chart
Indeed! Thankfully we have creators like meshd who are happy to take commissions for such rare assets. I didn't commission them myself, but I'm certainly glad they exist :)
Your Railway series is one of the best C:S building guides I have ever watched. Thanks a lot for the great explanations! I am really looking forward to build my own train station now.
You wouldn't normally call a run down rural platform 'pretty' but what you made was VERY pretty. Some really neat techniques here to make custom stations!
Saw the last video, and loved it. Subscribed and watched all your others about Railway. Very interested in this series, as I am learning how to implement the Sydney Trains system in the game. The tips you are giving are very helpful, so thank you!
Thanks for your comment! I had always thought about using the flying junctions outside of Central to demonstrate how to effectively use elevated tracks, this might be the suggestion I need to make it happen.
It is so difficult not to be impressed. Just watching and listening I learn something new or receive new ideas. Please, please continue adding to your channel when you can. Those of us who've found you already are just the beginning. So many more players out there await the pleasure of discovering your impressive abilities on CSL for the first time. One thing I am curious about is which zooming or close viewing mod or mods do you use? .. Your close viewing is so steady and precise. I use 'Zoom to Cursor' only. Great channel and content, precisely what the community needs.
That's really kind of you to say. There's plenty more planned, so please do keep subscribed and you'll be notified when new episodes are ready. I use a number of camera mods, but I think the one you're after are Camera Positions Utility which disables collision: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=898480258
The station looks a lot like a station in Brno-Lesná (Czech R (however, Lesná is a communist-era housing estate and the station recently had its tracks upgraded to concrete, because it is on a main line from Brno to Kuřim, Tišnov and Prague (also known as S3/R8). Despite that, it is still a pretty small and non-used station). That is why I like your videos as a first thing when i click on them ;-). Can't wait for another one.
That's the plan! It might take us a number of episodes to get there, but the intention is that with the techniques I demonstrate across the series we can finish with a massive central station build :)
That footage was shared with me by another creator. She's said that the cars are currently unreleased as there's more work to be done on the pack, but it will be released eventually. Here's a link to her Steam profile: steamcommunity.com/id/Astronaut24/myworkshopfiles/?appid=255710
Excellent video! Im a huge fan of this type of content.. I truly enjoyed every video so far. Would it be possible to make an example of this, but in an elevated terminal station, something like Manchester Piccadilly? you know, with 3 or 4 platforms..
@@kjmci Would love to see a central station build, especially the way to get people entering the platforms in a save way. In my experience I see lots of people crossing tracks although I have made separate invisible paths.
The next video will be more of a specific tutorial video looking at some of the techniques I demonstrated in the last few videos in more detail. After that I think I'll focus on some specifics of railway theory, like gradients, curve radius, and how to work them properly into the game. Thanks for the positive feedback!
@@kjmci I am also a railway fan and your tutorials are the thing which made my city look amazing. I had same problems of joining 2 way railway line to 2 one way lines I used traditional method but with your method so muh time is saved

Amazing tips mate, love the realism of your tutorials!

I clicked on this video not expecting a free therapy but here we are.
Keep them coming! This series is great and has a lot of interesting techniques and details for us to use

I just had a look on Google Maps, it's really quite similar!
Awesome series! You should do one more "Grand/Central station, show us what you would do for a real custom train hub in the heart of downtown

Wondering if the Union Pacific container car at 0:28 is an asset available in steam workshop? Or you just POed the unpainted car?

@@kjmci Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to this asset!

Sure thing! I've had a few requests for a video on elevated stations in general, so I'll definitely show a terminus as well as a regular station.
excellent tutorial, you could do some great in depth ones on how to use PO and the other mods.
Thanks again for these professional video's. And heard some good tips!
Glad you like them! I'm about to start on preparations for the next episode so let me know if there's anything specific you would like to see?

Definitely! I might not get to a large central station just yet, but I’ll show a few techniques that can help.
This is excellent!
As soon as a saw the video i pressed it. Love the builds. What is gonna be you next project?
