Sean and Lisa Build a Home E16: BXpanded Trenching Bucket

Another toy has arrived! Sean ordered this trenching bucket from BXpanded months ago and it has finally arrived. Since we were moving when he ordered it and we really didn't know where we would be living when it arrived, we had it delivered to a friends house. When heard it had arrived we were in my car but decided to drive home to get the truck. We had no idea it would be so small. I guess we didn't really think that an implement for a tractor could come in such a small box!
This BXpanded trenching bucket will come in very handy when laying cable and running hydro from the current box to the house, from the house to the shed and to any outdoor stand alone lights. It will also be very useful when cutting up the logs in the log pile since it is a narrow grip which will be perfect for picking up the logs for cutting.
I look forward to using this BXpanded trencher.

Thanks for the great video guys. I sure wish they made a BXpanded quick connect and bucket for the Branson tractor backhoe. I could build one but I'm not that ingenious. Guess I'll have to dig trenches with the 12" bucket for now. Keep up the good work!

Great video Sean ! I wish I had the back hoe on my BX, but wouldn't use it much, but it's nice to see in action ! I hope you are doing better after the tree branch fell on you. ( for anyone wondering, Sean had a tree brand hit him - check his video for that ( posted Feb 11, 2022 )

I have a question, is it as easy now to install the original bucket, how does it perform with the quick connect?

It is incredibly easy to switch back and forth between the original bucket or the trenching bone. I actually just used both a few days ago and switched back and forth between the two buckets easily. They both preform incredibly well. I highly recommend the quick connect.
