As of Thursday, June 25th, D'elia's team have released some his side of email exchanges with a few girls, including the initial accuser "Simone Rossi." I'll cover these at some in the future but it seems that they were being entirely truthful. Please, stop saying "But the age of consent in most states is 16," like that is a defense. Traveling across state lines to have sex with anyone under 18 is a federal crime. I'm not saying D'elia DID cross state lines to have sex with anyone under 18, but the age of consent in that state wouldn't matter. He would still be a criminal.

When I went to the comedy store about a year or two ago... Man, that was hard to sit through. I like schaub too and it was rough when all the laughs hes getting are fellow comedians just belting laughs at a story that was a chuckle at best. What do I know, not a pro comedian so whatever.

I'm all for not guilty until proven. But him having said that a couple of times over dozens of situations won't protect him from all allegations. There is a good chance that he pursued some, and that will be enough. And telling a girl she can't have something is a common baiting technique. She'll want to do it even more after that. The guy is known for being an experienced womanizer. So those specific conversations can get the benefit of the doubt, but it has to be a consistent pattern for him to be cleared. Maybe he was just waiting for them to be 18 sharp, like as young as they possibly could be legally. Anyways so far we know that at best he's a major creep, at worst a criminal.

The girl said she was 16, he immediately noted he thought she was 18 & said bye. The Simone girl who was outraged later sent him an email saying she was 21 & dtf. I didn't see if he reciprocated, so MAYBE his disinterest is what actually spurred her to say (paraphrasing), 'It's my job to protect other young girls!' If she felt victimized, why in God's green landscape did she offer herself up to him years later? The sad thing is that if there are actual instances of abuse, (I hope not), none of these girls are actually doing anything to help the victims, & to me it feels like opportunistic women looking to get theirs, which is unfortunate if there are real victims out there. I think when he said he fwd his own lifestyle he meant specifically the vanity & hubris of chasing younger women. It's like if you skip a few episodes of a television show and you dont know how they came to the conclusions that's the characters did. For instance Rogan used to say that there is no positive effect that comes from religion, but having guests on like Shapiro, Peterson, and Sam Harris, he has definitely changed his tune. Cant be man at someone for actively pursuing knowledge.

Not for nothing, Theo owns up to his mistakes. Whether it be sleeping with a fans date, or hooking up with a mother & daughter duo... he is pretty honest about his personal life with or without the shame attached. He has a track record for feeling guilt in behavioral issues; but will publicly open conversation in order to reflect and be better. Comedian wise, Theo marches to his own drum when it comes to displaying morals so I'd be shocked if Theo had anything this dark lingering.
