    1.Relax your muscles: Be more cognizant of when you squint your face, wear sunglasses, identify your triggers; massage facial muscles
    2. Frownies aka adhesive patches that lift the wrinkles out of the skin by retraining the muscles
    3. Change your sleeping position and don't sleep on your face or use an antiaging pillow
    4. Product: ExLinea Pro Peptide Serum (Snap 8 Peptide and Argreline Amplified
    5. Instant Firmx Treatment

      I live in a very sunny climate and have horrid 11’s , but I am a parent if two women your age. I’ve had Botox on the 11’s and I love it. That said ; I have heard from really good surgeons as well that long term use will cause atrophy. Which looks far worse than wrinkles. I’d be afraid if I were young like you to have prolonged use. They don’t know yet how that will be. Try not to squint and follow her advice on that. You are very young.

    • @JessG_20

      I notice a little bit of those wrinkles on so many young people. Even teens sometimes. I don't think it's any kind of premature aging. It's good you're doing your best to accept them and know they're from being happy and expressive!

      I’m 23 and I noticed my static forehead wrinkles appeared when I was 19/20. There are studies that show that people who go through prolonged stress can wear that experience on their forehead as young adults/teens. (Think anxiety eyebrows)

    I'm a man, so I don't care if I have wrinkles. But when I was a kid I used to watch the Jack LaLanne show when I got a chance. It was on during the day so the show was aimed at housewives. Jack had a set of facial exercises to do and you can see them on YT. The exercises did scrunch up (and stretch out) the face, but the idea was to strengthen and tone the underlying facial muscles. So I do it, along with all my other exercises, and my face looks pretty youthful. My intention was never to look younger but, rather, to exercise all my skeletal muscles. It just makes sense.

    Another option is using hyaluronic acid! It’s transient but it’ll help fill in your wrinkles and look plump 😅 I like the Vichy serum, neutrogena hydro boost, and use a moisturizer with a dewy finish on top (oil based)

    Thank you for content that doesn’t amplify insecurities or this feeling of ‘needing’ to get something. I’m 33 and many times I get mistaken for being in my early to mid 20’s and recently I went to my derm to ask about an insecurity I had with some genetic fat under my chin. She referred me to someone else and then just casually said I’ll ‘need’ a facelift in about 10 years.
    She pointed to her own neck as evidence and honestly I didn’t see any need for her to do that. And she shared that insecurity with me. I even told her sometimes I think the little pudge I have is even kind of cute sometimes, I’ve had it all my life and social media made me feel I had to have a crazy jaw but I’m European, it’s not a defect! (The reason I changed my mind is a saw a gorgeous actress who also had a little fat under her chin and I just realized how out of focus I was zeroing in and obsessing over something so minimal) my derm even said she didn’t even notice it until I pointed it out. 🤦‍♀️
    So ladies, derms are humans and sometimes they lose perspective too and forget their own beauty is not dictated by the current fad of extra sharp jawline or whatever the current obsession is. I hope to age gracefully and love my face and naturally take care of it so it looks good. Cosmetic surgery is NOT necessary to look beautiful and I really wish I would have gone to someone who would have emphasized this.

    • @stephaniem1107
      @stephaniem1107 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I have the neck pudge too! I've always had it and my mum and brother also have it. I want to lose a little weight which will hopefully reduce it a bit (I don't want to lose weight because of it, just for health) but even when I was a skinny little teenager I still had it. I'm 31 now and I'm definitely not interested in getting procedures done, retinol is enough for me.

    I started getting a deep static wrinkle between my brows from frowning and sleeping on my side (now that my skin sagging). It looked horrible! I started using a silicone patch (like frownies, but silicone vs paper) overnight and it made a huge difference! The downside is if I miss using them for even a night, I start noticing the wrinkle again that day. I've been to a dermatologist yesterday because I noticed that I start to get wrinkles under my eyes and near my mouth (nasolabial). First she only recommended pricy procedures like vampire lifting and fillers for the wrinkles around the mouth because I said directly that I'm not interested in Botox. But after she recognised that I'm kinda informed she said, that the most important thing is a good skincare routine. I would never touch fillers, because a doctor and friend of mine told me years ago, that the product builds up easily and doesn't dissolve on its own. No doctor would tell you that voluntarily if they want to sell you that pricy bs. And it's infuriating that they directly recommended fillers even if the wrinkles are fine like mine.

    I have been curious about Frownies, but bc they would be occlusive, I've been hesitant. Could you discuss how to use them for different skin types? Mine, for instance, is sensitive and acne-prone.

    • @franb2001
      @franb2001 ปีที่แล้ว

      Erin, I have been using Frownies for over 15 years with no irritation. I use them to extend my time between Botox treatments. Instead of every 3 months, I go every 6 months.

    • @erinmcneal6381
      @erinmcneal6381 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@franb2001 have you been using them over actives? I guess that's my main concern... with things like retinol

    • @franb2001
      @franb2001 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@erinmcneal6381 I don't use face creams or retinols. If I did, I would simply leave the areas where I would be placing the Frownies free of products. But One reviewer said she uses creams and puts her Frownies right over them.

      I also have sensitive skin very prone to acne. I use 100% silicone patches instead of frownies because silicone is less likely to cause problems than other adhesives.
      I still sometimes get some clogged pores but the key I’ve found is to deep clean the skin (eg w a foaming face wash) where you apply the patch right before and after applying, and deep clean the patch before each application.
      I can’t use any products underneath if I want the patch to stay on overnight, except I can spot treat any pimples / clogged pores underneath without a problem

      Also, I just apply products to the rest of my face after applying the patch

    With the frownies, how do you know that the wrinkles are smoothed by the muscle relaxation and not by the trapped skin evaporations (which is highly short-termed)?

    None of these things address dynamic wrinkles. I have no static wrinkles but my dynamic wrinkles are really very severe. So these are not actually botox alternatives.

      Professional skin needling with PRP, or professional skin needling with exomes. Preferably with a provider who uses a SkinPen brand device. You have to do it a few times, but skin needling made a huge difference in my indented scars.
      (Don’t try at-home dermarolling. I tried it and it made things worse. I believe my scars would be completely gone if I’d just gone to the pros from the outset.)

    Thank you for the video - just one thing that annoys me when derm places show before and afters do they not think we can see the lighting is ALWAYS DRAMATICALLY DIFFERENT? LOL.Of course WRINKLES DISAPPEAR when you put a light directly in front of the face. Eye roll.... seriously? "Befores", which are always lit from the top. show wrinkles to their greatest effect because the shadows are strongest.
    Second point the photos are always darkened in addition to the intentional bad lighting in the BEFORE pics. (option#2 - even her teeth are 4 shades brighter in the After!). WE NOTICE!!
    Its just so dishonest. And... it doesn't really help the consumer make an educated decision - suspect if the companies have to lie about the results - they really aren't worth the money places charge to get them. LOL!
    This is no reflection on YOU of course. Just an industry/marketing tactic that really bothers me. LOL. Love your videos. Keep doing what you do - thanks!

    I have given up on botox. Over the last 3 years it has not lasted more than 4 weeks in my face! I'm a bodybuilder so my body metabolizes is quickly. I even waited 1 year of getting nothing done just incase my body was building a resistance to it. After a year I decided to get dysport thinking that a change would last longer but NOPE! 4 weeks and $600+ later. I'm done with botox, I feel like I'm just throwing money down the drain. I'm looking into alternatives like tretinoin and maybe some fillers or threads.
