    thank you very much for the reply, I installed 4" handlebars, tightened the bolts to the correct torque of 27 Nm and when I held them and pushed them, they moved slightly and I was scared that something was wrong. Yes, the movement is in the bushings.

    Can you use other bars from biltwell? Wonderful vid. Subscribed. :)

    • @SLIGHT_
      @SLIGHT_  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes and not limited to Biltwell. The rebel uses the 1” bar so any bar will work. I went with these as Biltwell’s bars are extremely high quality.
      Note: depending on height of the bars you may need cable extensions as well.
      The ones I have are slotted/dimpled… if you can get them without this I’d suggest that. As you don’t need these… Harley clams use them. Luckily the slots were not in the way of the pins.
      Thanks for your comment.

    I have a 2021 honda rebel 300. The handle bars are a stretch down and out making it hard to sit back in the seat all the way. What would you recommend for a bar that'll come closer to me and up a little too?

    • @SLIGHT_
      @SLIGHT_  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Many options… a basic set of risers help. Though a larger set of bars will be best. Anything more then the set up I have you’ll need to extend the cables etc.
      What are you looking for?

  • @f.andrewmeunier5440

    Are these about a 14" handlebar? The wires and cables didn't have to be changed? Where did you order the fairing from?

    • @SLIGHT_

      Sorry… these are the smaller set. They have 2 sizes of the keystones (both in 7/8” and 1”, Honda uses 1”)

    I have a question...
    For this handlebar, is it 100% necessary to lengthen the brake line?
    Or just by relocating it you can solve it?

    • @SLIGHT_

    Are you experiencing any vibrations? I've just changed my bars to Kijima 1" bars and also changed to Vans grips, and I'm noticing vibrations now. Do you know what, if any, bar end weights would work on the 500? What measurements should I be looking at? Greatly appreciate it if you can offer any advice.

    • @SLIGHT_
      @SLIGHT_  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not sure you get anymore vibrations from these bars. The Kijima bars… I can’t speak for these as I have not used them. Yet bar end weights do help with this. I will look into this and get back to you. The OEM bar does have end caps… many people drill and tap these to add weights to the bar end. I need to see about your bars to see what options you have.

    • @SLIGHT_
      @SLIGHT_  หลายเดือนก่อน

      The movement you’re referring to is the play in the bushings… typically you’ll feel this with any riser. When I had risers on this (years ago) you could feel that movement… with these the feel is not as bad. Yet you’ll always have this unless you do a solid bushing.

      In Canada it’s 20 ft/lbs. could be different slang other places. I am not sure. We read it as 20 foot pounds.
