Really helps with comfort for sure... On long rides on my spyder my shoulders would ache. I had short reach handlebars put on which brought my handlebars 2 inches closer and multiplied my comfort tenfold!
@@TheVSChick well, I hadn't been on two wheels since 1997 when I gave up riding to raise our family...so I think I was bound to have fun no matter what I hopped on 😂 Three wheels are a LOT of fun and I hope you can try riding one sometime...do you see many Spyders or Rykers where you live? Saw your stickers on Bolt Bucket's video...very nice and cool the way you "mailed" them to him lol.
Hahaha I've got a pretty decent throwing arm haha! 💪 There are actually a few cruising around the bay actually. They look super comfy... like a lounge chair on wheels! Would be heaps of fun!!!
Haha 😂. Nice modification Vs! Risers are always a great mod. I have bars that come back and up deleting the need for risers but looks like you had a good time doing it! 👍😂✊❤️🔥💯
@@TheVSChick it's better that way some videos I've seen on here just really serious and kinda puts you off biking and learning about bike mods and maintenance. I really enjoy your videos more because you do have the giggles and laughs in them but are serious also. I think makes the viewer more relaxed. I hope that makes sense lol
Yeah thanks Paul. Makes sense. 🙂 I kinda just want to show an accurate representation of reality. I'd assume that the majority of people modding their bikes aren't mechanics and don't know all the fancy lingo. So maybe seeing me giggle my way through can give the average Joe a glimmer of hope! Because if I can do it... anyone can. 😁
Does the handlebar still hit the tank with the 1” riser when you turn it all the way? I just want a handlebar or riser that will not dent the tank when I drop the bike. Thanks for your help . Love the vids! Keep them coming.
Interesting question. In our experience, the bars have never touched the tank... with or without the bar risers. 😬 Perhaps the bars themselves are bent because of a previous drop?? Thanks for watching. Sorry we couldn't be of help.
Good eyes! He was just making sure everything was fully tightened and secure before setting her off for a ride... but the speedometer was on the entire time. You can remove it to do the mod though. Up to you. 😁
Good idea. It's always important to do the research I reckon. Hopefully you've found this vid helpful. I do have a few others on the rebel if you're wanting inspiration for other mods. We've just done a Puig windscreen - video dropping on the 1st. 😎
I'm a newbie rider with short arms. Want to go touring on my Vulcan S but find I too am leaning forwards or have completely locked straight arms. Not sure if there is a similar riser option for Vulcan. Otherwise will have to get new handlebars.
I'm lucky enough to have long arms but I think you can actually alter the angle of the bars on the Vulcan to bring them a little closer. Bar risers are an available option for the vulcan too though... so you have a few things that could do the trick. 🙂
@@TheVSChick thanks, bike is in for 1st service soon so will chat with the team. Just hoping weather warms up soon as still chilly down here in Melbourne

So good how an extra inch or two makes a huge difference. Simple and great mod, and not excessive enough to need to extend all the cables and wires.
Sure does. The little mods sometimes make the biggest difference too 🙂
I love all the giggles and laughter during a mod. Great way to start my day. ❤
Haha Great to hear Rob! Thanks! 😁😁😁
Making a bike more comfortable to ride ensures it is ridden more. Great work making a bike more personalised for the rider.
So true! It's always good fun tweaking the bikes too. All the small changes definitely add up and make the ride that much more comfortable!
Really helps with comfort for sure... On long rides on my spyder my shoulders would ache. I had short reach handlebars put on which brought my handlebars 2 inches closer and multiplied my comfort tenfold!
That's awesome! Hopefully Rebel Rider will notice a similar difference in comfort 🙂
Looks a lot more comfortable. Great work team. 👍👍
Thanks Ian. Wish I could take all the credit but I literally did nothing haha
At the IMS this past summer I took a 500 Rebel on a test ride... It was fun! 👍😊💜🏍️
Yeah great bike. So smooth. Still love the Vulcan though haha. I'd love to try a 3 wheeler at some point!

Hehe thank you! It's always fun doing a mod 😁😁😁😁
Yeah the Rebel! Next up brake & clutch levers for these tiny hands 🤏🏻🤟🏻😅
Broken clutch levers? Haha
Great video and as always funny also lol
Lol! Hopefully it's somewhat informative! 😬 haha
@@TheVSChick they always are sorry forgot to say
Sometimes we get a bit carried away with the giggles and forget the important stuff! Lol 😬😬😬😬🤣🤣🤣

I've got the same issue with my levers tbh, damn small hands!
Nice risers, looks like a heaps more comfy riding position 🙌
Hahaha might need to do a mod too hey??
I think my bike will be a bit more involved. Great mod. I’d love an extra inch or two. 😉
Wouldn't every one.
Boys boys boys 🤦♀️
@@TheVSChick in handle bar reach. What are you thinking?
Perhaps I assumed incorrectly... which is fine by me!!

Everyone love a handle bar raise 😎👍🏼oh yeah
Oh yeah! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Looks a lot more comfortable for you, I need some bar rises for the ktm 😁🤘🏼
Do ittttt 🤘🤘🤘🤘 haha
I like that … especially the easy part 🤓
Haha it was definitely an easy mod for me... just holding the camera and filming the struggle hehehe
You girls are so funny!
Hehe thanks! 🤪

No install is easy as 123 is it!! There's always that ( wait, we have to go back and do this...) moment!! Looks good, hopefully she enjoys it!!
100% hahaha! Every time we do a mod lol!
during the video, the gentleman did not remove the speedometer, but when done he was tightening the speedo, what happened in between?

That would feel so much better now
Yeah crazy that a little extra piece can make such a big difference
Wow looks like you got a rise out of Rebel
🤪😁😁😁
the machinining tolerances were out of tolerance, if the bars wobbled
Yeah for sure. It wasn't a genuine honda part so was expecting a bit of inconsistency with size. They turned out ok in the end though thankfully 😉
sometimes it's the way to go to find that right riding position
100% It's surprising how small adjustments can make a big difference 🙂
Done And Done!
Woot woot! 🤘
It would've been cool to see the 4 inch risers
Yeah... I should have filmed it... to show how much of a difference it would have made.
The easiest mod ever! Famous last words...best words are "for the next mod"... 😊
Hahaha sooooo true!!
Money well spent, anything to make the ride more comfortable
So true! Little changes make a bit difference.
Late night drop
Yeah just my normal "pre work week" routine haha!!
Famous last words "easiest mod ever" 😜
Haha I know right!!! Shouldn't have jinxed it!
Зачем, там и так всё хорошо...👎
Just a little mod to try and make it easier on her back. She's pretty short. 🙂
Not impressed too much giggling
It's hard not to have a good time when you're modding though right? 😊
