pretty cool Slight. 8 hours from Canada to West Virginia? i figured it would take longer than that, that's a ways to go. how's the girl that dumped her bike? broke her mirror, and clutch handle, but looked like no serious damage. also, there were Harley's and 500 cc's in the ride. pretty roads, curvy but not drastic, good ride.

Fair enough, that’s only attaching it to the battery. Also a better option is to get a “Thunderbox” from Healtech. That way it can only turn on with the bike on. Then you’d just plug the relay harness to that.

As a Bluetooth communicator yes. (Limited to 2 users) if you’re speaking of Mesh… no, this is not a communication unit but rather a Bluetooth unit. Music, phone calls, radio etc.

Can you advise on any improvement for passenger comfort with these shocks?
@@kenhogan1433 the oem are easier to adjust, yet limited to performance. I’ve used these with my wife and my son. As far as comfort for the passenger, this is day and night. (Minus the fact that OEM stone seat is also a problem) To conclude, with these set up properly, this is a huge upgrade for both the rider and passenger.
@@SLIGHT_ Thanks for the response and that advice. Will put these shocks on the dream list for after I get the seat, risers, back rack with top box, USB charger, phone mount, crash bars and muffler/silencer sorted out. Only had the bike for 3 days but have ordered these accessories already.

5/8 socket? I can't get my socket to seat onto the existing spark plugs edit: nvm, the outside diameter of my socket was too big preventing it from being seated on the spark plug
Fair enough. Most “spark plug” sockets are thin walled. If you have access to this it may be easier to use.

Great video!!! Do you think it’s safe to stack two pairs of risers on top of each other? I was able to install the risers and ride with it for a while. But I’m as comfortable as I’d like, so wondering if adding another set would give me that extra up and back that I need. Thanks again!
@@Andrewje85 they do make risers that are larger… adding multiple has been done, yet I don’t recommend this. Also note, as these rebels (300/500) have that rubber bushing, the higher up you go the more flex you will feel in the bars. You may want to look at upgrading these to solid bushings.
Greetings from Australia. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this excellent video. Everything I need to know without a lot of noisy, annoying bloat. I pickup my Rebel in a couple of days. The test ride felt great but I am not a big bloke so I think some mild risers would feel even better. I found your replies to the questions very helpful and reassuring as well. I feel confident now to tackle this job.

@@chriscreed6410 cost comparison was not the intended concern. This Review was on the helmet… not the tech. The Bell qualifier is a great option for many people. Yet I do understand your point.

Honda made both top and bottom, so those who don't want vinyl.
@@user-fk2mp5xh4s the bottom kit if for the 2020 and newer as they have a different lower tube. This allows the lower fatter to sit in the proper position. They also use a clamp and not zip tie. A great option from Honda! As for the collar. They use a metal sleeve with a rubber bushing. Again a great option (unless you need to move the signal. Great information dude. I absolutely agree with you. Love the Honda kit.

Where do I find the torque specs that you used? I couldnt find them on the directions provided by Burly. Thanks!!!!!
If the supplier doesn’t provide them, I use the specs via Honda service manual.
Hey, great video! Just a quick question, being that you are changing from halogen to LED, did you not have to add a relay to it? TIA
@@capachudo not for the headlamp no. Signals you would, as the flasher relay would be a “hyper flash” without it.

Not sure if you have a video on this but I’m having an issue with my 23 Rebel 500. I am able to switch to all gears but the bike is not accelerating when I pull the throttle. I hear it revving high but no power. The clutch doesn’t feel loose. Please let me know what you think. Thank you so much for all your videos!
Could you make a video and send it to my email? Can you feel it come out of the friction zone? Sounds like a clutch issue… or improper adjustment. Yet with this description it’s very difficult to isolate the concern without looking at it.

Nice mirrors, I got myself one set for my Street triple. I had a few issues while riding at fast speeds, problem solved with red loctite. I love the look of the mirrors they are kind of shaded so they look nice when bright light are behind you. Great video keep it up.

@SLIGHT_ so like I said I did not see it lol.... so it's at relative to speeds at highway speeds all the time? Or just as you accelerate hard? My bike has a front wheel shimmy at about 125kmh and up. Also lol our highways have huge center lane cracks..I mean huge lol so when lane changing you have to accept the wobble cause man do you get them allot up here!

Is it possible to move the right handbrake to the left and the park break to the right? Like swap it
In the DCT version
@@RaymondSamuray the front brake lever to the left… and the DcT park lever to the right… ??? technically anything is possible… yet you’d be working with aftermarket components to make this work. Also depending on the area, this will not be code/dot certified… so you run the risk of getting to bike pulled from the road. IMO… not a project I would do myself.

Ive watched this maybe 4 times now, im wondering if you would know at all. Would the Forward controls be in the way of some crash bars, or vise versa? If you know at all, just a shot in the dark for me. lol
@@BeardedBandido214 many forwards do have issues with crash guards. What guards are you looking at?
