    It makes me laugh that you say your wife would be after you because I have the opposite situation. I keep fish and shrimp and I do stuff like this in my kitchen all the time and my husband is always after me lol!

    sir, as always great video. thank you for the information you provide. HUGE HELP & always looking forward to the next. also when you receive shrimp how long of a period do you chalk losses up to the move and shipping? Thanks in advance sir.

      Hi Lucas. if you acclimate them correctly you should be ok. Saying that, if the shrimp are adult you may lose one or two as they don't like being moved so much. If you do buy shrimp get the smaller ones as they are more tolerant with water change ok.

      And so you'd keep that mixture in the freezer?

    shrimp vs avacato? what about beet greens, or kale?

    • @MARKSAQUATICS
      @MARKSAQUATICS  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I feed my shrimp avocado leaves, and kale is fantastic for shrimp full of calcium. 😀

    • @laszlotresanszki7262
      @laszlotresanszki7262 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      And spinach.. one of the highest in calcium. Calcium very important for shrimp.. a Japanese shrimp keeper once told me you don't want to feed too much protein too often cause it makes them turn into carnivores and they get aggressive toward their mates. Calcium on the other hand is what they use to rebuild their shells.

    • @MARKSAQUATICS
      @MARKSAQUATICS  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can put the food in a small glass dish.

    • @rdlc3572
      @rdlc3572 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      MARK'S AQUATICS I've tried this but they don't seem to notice it

    • @MARKSAQUATICS
      @MARKSAQUATICS  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ok. Has your aquarium got a lot of algae in it.? If so they will be feeding on that and the biofilm so wont be that hungry . Don't feed them for a week and then put some food in.👍😀

      @rdlc3572 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sometimes when there aren't alot of shrimp they don't always eat right. You can also just feed small amounts of powder.
