Just got done doing a Ken's Premium blend with 8 different "flavors." Got a couple quart bags foodsaved and in the freezer, and another to feed out of for a while.

Nice, they didnt used to sale quarter pound bags, used to always be 1/2lb to 1lb, now I think you can even buy 5lbs at a time of some of their food.
@MarkShellyAquatics yeah, I got the 1/4 lb bags since I only have the 40 breeder and the new 29 I'm setting up next week. I've got enough food for a while lol.

Nice video Mark. You could try a paint mixer that you put in a drill to do your final mix in the bucket.
Yep, never made this much before, that will probably be my next investment lol. Used to make 5lbs with 10 different kinds for myself. Then people started asking for me to sale it lol. So figuring out scalability as I go along lol.
Was thinking the exact same thing as I was watching Mark with his hands, wrist and watch in the bin mixing it all up covered in shrimp food 😂
And this is great food my shrimp love it, so do my chili rasboras
Sweet Larry. I've had many people tell me that they have been able to raise difficult types of fry with it. Everything is at least 40% protein, some are over 50%. Good growth food, and good at making lots of berries. Thanks Larry
Another great and informative video - thanks Mark. How long will the food keep it's freshness when you freeze the mix in the bags?
If you keep it frozen it should last a really long time.

The food sounds great. Do I still need to supplement calcium for molting? Or is this food take care of that too?
The minerals for molting should be in your water. Why neos like hard water.
Hi mark if you want to do atleast 1lb of foot at a time use a rock polisher ... could do 5lb at a time easily , it will beat that blender in the grind

I am selling more than I use at this point lol, which is just recently. Decided it was time and was worth it to invest into the new toy, now I need a paint mixer to mix the final product lol.
That was a great video of how you make your food mark! I was wondering how you packaged it up! Wow that’s really nice with the sealer, I was thinking once my fish shipping gets rolling better ,about getting an oxygen tank and one of those sealers! Nice blender your using!

Have you changed the composition of the feed?
Used to make 10 half pound bags of 10 different kinds. This batcb is 24 bags of 12 different kinds, just 2 more. I have about 13 or 14 different ones that I use, just depends what is available when I order supplies, but they are all the same ones I have tried in the pasr.
