China Cabinet Updated/ Hutch gets DIY BASE and FUSION Paint

- China Cabinet Updated - This week Dani and Sherry (Daughter and Mom) flip a perfectly fine but frumpy China Cabinet and give it a much needed update with a New DIY BASE and some paint. Will they be able to recoup the cost of lumber for the new base and sell this hutch for a profit????
6/11/22 SALES UPDATE- Sometimes, it pays to just be patient. After 30 days, we sold and delivered our updated hutch to its new owner. So did we make a profit? YES, we did!!!!
The costs: Furniture: $30, lumber for base $90, paint and other supplies $30, mileage for delivery $78 (per federal mileage deduction) Total costs= $228
Sold for $650 + $125 delivery fee + $25 tip (very generous buyer)
Total profit = $572

Love this base! Having the legs a bit taller gives this a lot more presence without feeling heavy. The green shade is perfect with the color of the wood stain. And it'll go in anyone's home. Here's to a super quick sale! Great work as always, ladies 😍

Not knowing what sells best in your area, I always love black painted furniture. I think the strip between the two middle doors needs to be painted green for continuity of the piece. Nice job on this one ladies!
🤗 Hi Lynn, thank you!!! Yes, black sells well in our area but we also like to mix it up with blues and greens. white seems to sell well too but for some reason we don't do much in that color. That is a great suggestion about the middle strip. It is attached to the door so we never thought about painting it.😮
