What a stunning build! My dad was a carpenter and he passed away 22 years ago when I was 20. Projects like this make me wish I could go back in time and spend time with him learning how to do stuff like this!

Little Tip: The caulk gun has a hole in the handle near the trigger you stick the caulk tip in it and pull the handle a blade will cut the caulk for you. no need for scissors.
Wow ! That is so elegant......its huge , but with all that glass it doesnt close in the space ! Its just Fabulous and you are one very clever lady ....you should be so proud ❤
I saw you used the blue painter flat brush thing . I use instead dish washing sponges. Perfect staining every time ... no mess, no streaks. I love it.
Here is a glass hack. Microfiber cloth lightly damp with just water. No streaking. Also if it's a greasy hand prints use straight rubbing alcohol and paper towels. Wish I could send pics here. I have 3 cabinets. But just house my glass.

Oh my gosh! Fantastic! It is so beautiful. I had watched the beginning builds for this china cabinet but then last week I watched something that had shelves at the top and two sets of drawers at the bottom. I got really confused and truthfully I was dissappointed because it wasn't all glass like this one is. I have no idea what I was looking at!? Anyway, I absolutley love this. You should be really proud of yourselves. I know Andrea does the work on the piece itself but Dean does a lot of running around and filming. Kudos!

The cabinet is amazing, wish I had one like it for all of my ironstone and vintage blue and white dishes.
That's gorgeous... It's might be BIG but it's also light and airy-it doesn't have overpower the room.
Although you don't need them for support, I'd add another vertical centre support ABOVE the top shelf
WOW, this is a beautiful cabinet and made of good wood, priceless 👍🏻 the dramaturgy with the glass, I fellt like holding my breath and at the same time, cheering you on!! Being able to built something what could cost a arm and a leg,,,it’s the chimney/mantle, the other cabinet in the living room, I wish I would have the resources do design my house too! Home is where the heart is and here we have lots of!! 👍🏻✌🏻

It's stunning, it really is one of kind and custom to your house. Congrats on completing it and to Dean for surviving through it! Can't wait for the next big build!
It's so beautiful!! The only little thing that sticks out to me is that the backing is the same color as the wall, so it gives the illusion that the cabinet is just pushed up against the wall (and it looks like it has no backing). It would be great if either the inside of the cabinet or the wall it was against was a significantly different color so that it could 'pop'. Otherwise, this is just a gorgeous build!
I love the way it looks with the same wall colour. It doesnt look bulky. It looks airy and not like there is a big furniture in the way. It allows the items in it to stand out as well. I think it is just a matter of preference and Andrea prefers it that way. It doesnt make it right or wrong.

I always use sponge brushes to apply my stain. To me it just seems to work soooo much better than a brush.

It is a beautiful piece. Exactly what I would do if I built something like it. I probably would have continued the shelf leg boards all the way up to make it even throughout.

Beautiful! You'd never find a cabinet like this anywhere. Unless it was really old. They may look similar but could never compare! Yours is all solid wood construction. I have some very high end pieces and they do not compare. Well done Andrea!!! You are amazing! And even though your perfectionistic approach may be tiresome at times for you, keep that quality. That's what sets you apart. Bravo!!!
