Happy to see your reaction. His other "mining classic" is a cover of Big Bad John from the 60's, it was released a couple of weeks ago and is simply stunning.
This song was the reason I fell in love with his voice. Then I found out he was a founding member of VoicePlay. They are an acapella group that sing songs from every genre. You’ll love them. Especially their latest, Classical Chaos
Love your reaction! He has some phenomenal solo pieces. His talent and range is crazy! So glad you checked out his solo work and look forward to your next one.
Sixteen Tons was sung by Tennessee Ernie Ford back in 1955. This is the one that had us begging him to do ( Jimmy Dean's song ) Big Bad John that he just covered.
His range is five octaves. I know you’ve watched VoicePlay, and Layne, he’s the beatboxer, also has a similar range, but rarely sings anymore. Eli, who is classified as a tenor, has quite a range as well, covering the bass line when they are touring and Geoff is on stage singing. These guys are like freaks of nature!
If somebody asked me what the expression of amazement look like, I would show them this video. From start to finish this young lady looks amazed, and rightfully so.
Have you seen Voiceplay singing Oogie Boogies Song ? you really get a idea of his range . People have said that he has a 5 Octave range . Also check out his Lord of the Rings song Misty Mountain song also a solo work by Geoff
An amazing artist for you to check out is Marcelito Pomoy as he sings The Prayer on the Wishbus. You won’t believe what you are hearing. Amazing talent. Hope you watch soon…please and thanks! 👍🙏🏼
Ohhh, I like your reactions. Geoff done another coal mining song, 'Big Bad John', it's really worth a listen. The cover he did of the Beatles 'Blackbird' is worth checking out as well.
Be sure to check out his cover of "The Headless Horseman" and "Monster Mash". Both, of course, geared toward Halloween but still fun listens all year long 🎃💀.
I still say people should react to him with some good speakers and not headphones....talking about a full body reaction then lol....it made my ankle bones vibrate all the way up to my seat lol
My mom, a professional voice teacher of 50-ish years, just can't get past his affect in these videos. Her feelings being: Yeah yeah, sure, swell voice, can you tone down with the showing off?
The facial expressions when Geoff hits those low notes is absolutely priceless.
I never tire of watching reactors brains explode, or melt in some cases, when they experience Geoff's range.
I think that was her ovaries falling out... seems to happen when women hear Geoff.
there is an actual term they invented for this specific man called "Geoff quake", not even kidding, look it up

His Shenandoah is just gorgeous. It's an old American folk tune, and his version is amazing!
Geoff's solo stuff is all outstanding. Just watch all of it!
I have found that I love watching reaction videos on Geoff. I must say that I totally enjoyed watching your reactions.
If you like this, be sure to listen to Blackbird, cover of the Beatles song.
Love your reaction! He has some phenomenal solo pieces. His talent and range is crazy! So glad you checked out his solo work and look forward to your next one.
Who is waiting for THAT MOMENT he drops that note.
Sixteen Tons was sung by Tennessee Ernie Ford back in 1955. This is the one that had us begging him to do ( Jimmy Dean's song ) Big Bad John that he just covered.
Aw hell yeah more Geoff and voiceplay please!
The man should be a national treasure.
He goes even lower in Voiceplay's cover of 'Oogie Boogie's Song' from 'The Nightmare Before Christmas'.
I watched it a few weeks ago, it's amazing!
His version of 'Big Bad John' worth a look.

He is a great talent y ou need to experience over misty mountain moon by Geoff very cool
And don't forget, "Hoist The Colors"
Love her re-action. what a voice.
I would definitely recommend his versions of "Shenandoah" and "Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold" They're both amazing and beautiful
if i'm not mistaken he as 5 octaves, you can hear them well in the "oogie boogie song" of voiceplay
If somebody asked me what the expression of amazement look like, I would show them this video. From start to finish this young lady looks amazed, and rightfully so.
This is probably my favourite comment I’ve ever gotten ❤️
"WOT?!" Pretty much covers it with this guy. :p
Great reaction. You would love Shenandoah and Big Bad John. Actually, anything he does is phenomenal.
Your eyes were made for doing reaction videos. Thanks for sharing this one with us.
Ayoooo...Love your Smile....um..i mean, i love your reaction....🤭
Love his vocal range. He can sing so much higher.
two other favorite solo Geoff TH-cam vids, "Headless Horseman" and "Blackbird"
Nice to see reactions like this where the person actually allows the video to flow naturally instead of pausing it too often.
Congrats!
I appreciate that!
Have you seen Voiceplay singing Oogie Boogies Song ? you really get a idea of his range . People have said that he has a 5 Octave range . Also check out his Lord of the Rings song Misty Mountain song also a solo work by Geoff
Loved your Reaction Bami!!!
Glad you enjoyed
He & Tim Foust (Home Free) both have a 6 Octave range. Rare for men, but it is usually a Bass with such a range.
To sing as low as Geoff is easy, all you have to do is:
1. Go through puberty
2. Go through a 2nd puberty
3. Go through a 3rd puberty
4. Profit
Please check out Tim Faust's (Home Free's bass) personal project, 'Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay' cover. It will blow your mind.
This is one of the few songs I can sing in the right octave
An amazing artist for you to check out is Marcelito Pomoy as he sings The Prayer on the Wishbus. You won’t believe what you are hearing. Amazing talent. Hope you watch soon…please and thanks! 👍🙏🏼

just a heads up he is the bass of voiceplay
Big Bad John should be next on your list :-)
Loved your response
Need more react to Geoff C. ))
I never tell anyone to react to anything, but it would behoove you to check out Tim Foust and Peter Hollens version of “Misty Mountains “
For a bass singer with a huge range, listen to Tomi P. Especially Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This and Sound Of Silence. He also sings every part.
A real talent! 👍
Oogie Boogie song! His range is unbelievable
Be sure to check out his cover of "The Headless Horseman" and "Monster Mash". Both, of course, geared toward Halloween but still fun listens all year long 🎃💀.
OK, now you need to do Tim Foust on "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow".
Welcome to the Castellucci quintuplets...
All of them are here except Daryl, he's off sleeping off a hangover.
You just MUST react to "Blackbird"!
2:32 Eargasm achieved.
Merry Christmas ☃️🎉🥳🥰🏴☠️
If you are looking for range you should check out Tim Foust's version of Will you still love me tomorrow/stay
Hope that no.9 coal was blue coal. That’s for anyone who listens to TheShadow radio plays
Yep that was my reaction as well
Great reaction .. what is it with females and a bass singer? :)
He has a 5+ octave range...
That’s actually amazing!
If you can handle accapella try "home free" also. Or try just the bass Tim Foust
If you want to hear his range try listening to Oogie Boogie Man. I don't think it's as good as his solo stuff, but he covers 3 octaves effortlessly.
I still say people should react to him with some good speakers and not headphones....talking about a full body reaction then lol....it made my ankle bones vibrate all the way up to my seat lol
To answer those faces. Subharmonics, growl and fry.
Geoff has five octave vocal range which is unworldly !!!
Perfect amount of intro
it sounds like a song from Corpse Bride
Please react to his Shenandoah cover please 🙏 this is so beautiful
You need to watch voice play oogie boogie
You need to react to voiceplays my mother told me
Of course!
My mom, a professional voice teacher of 50-ish years, just can't get past his affect in these videos. Her feelings being: Yeah yeah, sure, swell voice, can you tone down with the showing off?
💐🤩🎉👌
plz react to
-- geoff castellucci shenandoah
😊👍😎
Yep, he certainly can do low notes, and she pulls faces when it happens....
Is that it?
Is that how we do music now?
Watch the oogie boogie man. It's about kidnapping Santa Claus! He shows his range better than this..
I have already seen it! It's so good!
