Love your videos! Ive been subscribed for a couple months now and enjoy watching the content on these beautiful mopars!! I feel like if you got a cheap decent condition 1st gen durango, that would be the missing link. I would absoultely love to see you trick one out! Not taking away anything from all your hard work. Yeah definitely a personal preference but I like the more moderate tone on something I actually drive around. Maybe once I delegate this truck to more of a weekend thing but using as my daily right now in Florida I like this setup

Truck is clean! Nice install. I helped my dad install a muffler delete on this same truck (but grey), pretty similar install. Truck only had 6k miles on it when he bought it almost 2 years ago. 22 hellcat replica wheels look pretty clean on these trucks.

Nice! My 2016 Ram Sport is the same color! I put a Flowmaster Outlaw direct bolt-on muffler on mine and she sounds great! The resonators take alot of the rasp out.

I use 3" 40 series Flowmasters & exhaust tubing with SRT shorty headers and factory mid pipes on my '12 Challenger R/T M6, has always sounded great and works well! It is reasonably quiet when cruising at 1800 RPM on the highway, but has an authoritative growl when accelerating to pass someone!
I might add that some anti-seize compound on the pipe joints helps them slide right in and makes it easier to take off should the need ever arise. Great video, thanks, man!

Im the same john .. i like having that balance as well .. i have long tube headers on my truck now with high flow cats an a x pipe with a dual inlet outlet muffler with twin tailpipes an it has a perfect balance with no drone but when ya get on that throttle it sounds wicked .. great video john im enjoying all these videos on this truck .. also jus wondering about how your house purchasing is going ? I havent heard you mention in a while any updates unless i missed it.. ive been in the hospital for a few days with my health issues affecting my heart an had to get some medications changed up .. anyway i home now let me know whats up on the house deal if ya can thanks bro 👍

Just did the Aero Turbine direct fit 3030XL and love it! I wanted a nice rumble without it being abnoxious and its perfect. I couldn't recommend it enough.

@@dallas3559 Sorry no video but there are a few on TH-cam if you search I believe. I had the Borla S TYPE installed but removed it because I didn't care for the sound in the cab. This would be closer to like a 50 series FM but better quality material.

Thinking of putting this same exhaust on my 2019 Ram Big Horn. But i hear many people having to do a modification saw cut to remove the stocked exhaust/pipe. Do know if this is correct? I noticed you didnt have to do any of that. Just bolt up and attach..
I installed the same muffler on my 5th gen Rebel, of course on 5th gen you have to cut behind the muffler.

Your silver RAM you put the supercharge in sounded better. Whatever happened to that RAM? Anywho, I have a 14 RAM took muffler out and replaced with a b2 fabrication Y pipe. Now debating if I’m going to remove the cats and just go all straight.

I put the 40 Series on my Ram when I bought it. Have been considering switching to the fx to eliminate the drone at 1800 rpm.
Yeah depends what gear ratio etc but this one seems pretty tame cruising with the 3.21
@BoostedMotorsports I got the 3:21 also. It doesn't hit 1800 that often but when it does it will drive you insane. Been researching a J pipe. Might throw one in and see what that does first.
On my 2017 Ram RT I went with sweet Thunder chamber straight through not a muffler when it only had 300 miles on it . It makes it sound like the cars that were in the 60s and early 70s like the Corvettes with side pipes I purchase it on eBay and it was under $175 at that time now I think the price is about $214 free shipping there is a sound clip on TH-cam of it but that doesn't do it justification no drone at all no popping just low Rumble made in Cadillac Michigan USA direct bolt in no cutting just remove your muffler and bolts right up really light in weight because it's a straight through louvered inside. You leave the little resonators on the back.
I love Flowmaster. I've owned more Flowmaster mufflers than any other. I wonder how it would sound on the Ecodiesel?
The turbo really suppresses the sound. I run a 3" 50 series HD Big Block muffler as recommended by Flowmaster. The sound tested as 3db quieter than stock. Even without the resonator. The resonator is just a baffled tube, no baffles.
My truck also has a Banks Silencer delete. But I run a Wix air filter for goodair flow and fine particle filtration. Is a 4wd, with 3.92 gears, got 33mpg at 70mph on speed control. Traveling between San Jose, CA, and Bakersfield.

Sounds good! Not quite as loud as I like it, but that's subjective. Had the Carven Progressive on my last 1500 and it had some bite to it.
Yeah it’s all preference! My viper and Dakota are way louder but I barely drive those. Since this is my daily in Florida right now it’s a nice tone. Once it’s just a weekend toy ill make it louder 😁

A magnaflow muffler would sound the best on a 3.6 in my opinion

I have a 23 Ram 5.7. The muffler goes into a y, single exit. Cut it in back. Unbolted the front. Installed a muffler delete. Barks when cold. A church mouse when cruising so you can hear it shift. No drone. Left the resonators on.$140.00

Not that many HPers' I been told...
It really comes down to how people drive their trucks before and after the mods. Some people start driving harder after getting intakes and exhuast work so it makes them think they got any noticeable gains. Regardless, you won't notice much unless you get a custom tune to combine everything together.

I will give it 2 years. Maybe two and a half before the side weld blows out.. 409ss.. I live in Jersey and we have Some bad winters but 5 times a month I rinse off the bottom of my truck. If you live in Florida you're fine. If you live where it snows go with The 304.

I had this muffler, it sounds great until you pull a camper for a couple of hours… down right annoying… also it gets louder over time… had to take it off.
If it were 18-20 inches it would be great .. just be aware it’s loud
