We've just witnessed a miracle. This wizard just turned a piece of charcoal into a computer, with a razor blade and flux. Simply astonishing!!!!!
if this was a line in a book
ill buy it in a heartbeat lol
doing the real magic with his finger to bring it back to life 25:43
The wizard who was too lazy to turn the board around and inspect before soldering off half off the components on the board.
no no no, it was the famous Properly Calibrated Wire
He also uses the evaporation of alcohol to show him where the hotspots are!
Sorin in 2100: Hello so we are back and this time we have a nice spaceship's motherboard to fix
"İts a custumer job from 40 Eridani."
Everyone: “Noway to fix this board. Time for a new one”
Sorin: “Hold my beer.”

Coffee 😂
Sorin: "Hold my beer, and your capacitors"
Your laziness in disassembling motherboards is always a source of laughter for me 🤣🤣, but you are always the best.
True, true... :D But I know this too well - sometimes you'll do anything to prevent yourself from removing those five screws... :D
How many time did you take an entire machine apart , every screw , to realise when finished that you didnt need to do half that work to fix the problem ........... been there dozens of times .......... a chap that knows his stuff is not that inefficent
Brilliant repair. Other techs would have rejected that repair. Amazing work.
Start with the basics, remove the board and do the inspection of the board. I actually learned this from when I started in the old days and from many of you guys on this platform. Yes we do learn from others mistake. Thank you.
I've been watching your videos for a while, and I've seen you fix some crazy things. But this? this was CRAZY. Good job
Run-of-the-mill repair. lol.
@@Drottninggatan2017 Telling me you're jealous without telling me you're jealous.
Northridge wouldn't fix that 😅
dats crazy, your a brave man fixing a board like this Sorin. High Five.
Watching Sorin digging in to the board... while me screaming at the screen - IT'S ON THE OTHER SIDE!!! Is this becoming a routine now?
Bollocks. You didn't have a clue. Great work Sorin.
@@Brianck1971 First of all, you don't know me. You don't know what my skills are. Second - there is a visible difference on a infrared camera when you look at a hotspot and a diffused source of heat. And here it was clearly visible that the heat is diffused.
@@marcellipovsky8222 Well you claim you were screaming at a TH-cam video so that shows how intelligent you are. Second we all know about defused light. Sorin knows a lot more about it than you.
@@Brianck1971 And you never yelled at the TV while watching a football or ice hockey game... Again, you don't know me and assume stuff. You should stop offending people you don't know.
@@marcellipovsky8222 Noone was offended. You made something up and I called you out.
Its insane this laptop still working. This must be one of your best videos, you made my day, I laugh so much, when you remove the board and it was a cap. "I cut the board for a freaking capacitor". You the best
This channel should have at least 1 000 000 subs.
Nice work Sorin, but this time I was ahead of you. I was screaming check the other side of the board when you kept heating the one spot. I may have a slight advantage as I have been trouble shooting electronic circuits for over 50 years. After that long one learns to always look for the unexpected to pop up, as it will. Great work though, and please keep it up as it’s great knowledge to have.
Hahaha... :D Damn it, same here. :D
Same Here lol i knew that it was in the other side of board !
This guy is the best electronic repair technician I have seen on the internet. I really love the way he fix things and aslo learning from his videos on how to fix
Motherboard. Thank you ver much for video. They are really helpful
You are an absolute madman, Sorin. If this came to me it would have been tossed in the bin. Nice work!
This is exactly what I was thinking. He is absolutely a champion in his craftsmanship.
same thought. "NO FIX" :-]
I opened all my computers and removed all those useless capacitors and now my computers are immortal. Thank you Mr!
I knew they were just there to make it look complicated. I'm off to remove mine now.
@@biscuitBrush just there to collect dust I say off with em
I was screaming at the screen to turn the board over! lol - poor Sorin. Nice fix!
This is a real archeological work. You are the best!
I kept saying "other side of the board." It's become very clear from your videos what that looks like under a thermal cam. It's like a diffuse heat that doesn't seem to originate from any particular component. I'm sure a short in the board layers would look similar, but it's worth checking before digging too much.
Hello from greece!amazing job and finally worked!it was confusing at the start but finally give us the message that we alway learn something from different situations!really impressed by your patience!
As usual you leave me speechless, I'm not an electronics repairer but a gas converter, I talk a lot about you with my work colleagues about what you can do. Thanks for your great videos.
That was better to watch than mission impossible dear Sorin.
This is a crazy fix man jaw dropping as a matter of fact.
Amazing work Sorin 👍 I would have chickened out and bought a used Motherboard off eBay, thinking this one was too badly burnt. I have thermal cameras that offer manual control of the temperature span and centre temperature. Combined with a close up focus capability that enables me to see the exact location of the hottest point on the PCB. Your IPA tests worked well but I like to see the absolute hottest point on the PCB using the camera as it makes life easier. If your camera has a close up lens available, I recommend buying one as it is like having a thermal microscope ! Great work and an amazing result considering the damage and components that you had to remove. 👍👍
Incredible job Sorin. Just incredible. Your skills are amazing. Congratulations!
Bravo Sorin ! Esti taticul tuturor 🎉
Brilliant stuff Sorin, great repair job
Oh master SORIN much love from Nigeria .
Domnule Sorin am vazut muulte...dar ce am vazut azi...nu am mai vazut..sincer eu inlocuiam placa de baza...electronisti ca dumneata mai rar!Felicitari!
Amazing work, Sorin.....thank you.
Sorin, your video's are addictive, keep them coming :-)
Thrilling, from beginning to end. Thank You!!
I have seen worse case than this in @notebook31, but still a very hard job to tackle. Good work!
Domnule ești un adevărat maestru.....😊
It is a great satisfaction and excitement when it works again. Congratulations!
AWESOME FIX!! Congrats!
This is not "dodgy" , this is genius. Compared to others who repair things, it would have considered a "no fix" or NTG (No F#ckn Good) but your confidence of we can fix it when you pulling all the layers off and components off was just amazing. No video quiet like this out there.
Great job Sorin. I was shouting at the tv. IT'S ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BOARD. when you had thermal camera on.
Amazing fix Sorin. I would have taken one look at it and ran a mile.
This is one for the books....amazing. Excellent repair.
the deeper you scraped, the more I was like this board is toast. No dodgyness here,... you are very persistent,...well done!
Inspirational video. Never give up! Wow
Before you removed more layers of the board I thought, why he doesn't check the other side to see if there's something wrong there, and I was right lol. Maybe due to my inexperience if it was me, I couldn't fix the issue after all, but I certainly wouldn't have removed more tracks 😅
I'm glad it worked for you, but for me maybe I would've ruined the laptop by removing those tracks LOL
I wouldn't be able to fix it because I don't have the experience or the skills but at least I've learned something from you even though the board looks very scary to work on.. the customer is very lucky really, and he should be very happy too because not every hands would be able to fix that messed up board ..well done Sorin!
Sou do Brasil e sempre acompanho os seus trabalhos muito bom você é muito profissional em tudo que faz parabéns
And another good fix. A master showing off his skill, again.
Ha, this time I was faster! I was screaming at the monitor "check the other side of the board!" but Sorin wouldn't listen until he cut beautiful hole throught 3 layers... :D Man, I love your films, it's so damn educational. Thank you.
Inspiring this video, great job. thank you.
Crazyyy Job Sorin!
Esse merece toda a minha atenção, belíssimo reparo.
My mind is completely blown. This is some seriously impressive stuff !!!
Thanks Sorin, I learned a lot!!!! But still scared of the proper calibrated fuse and wires,lol... I send you my reggards from Argentina.
Good 1 sorin..❤i was convinced the fault was that side of the board...2 blown capsthnks for sharing 😅
You're the man ^.-.^ 😆
In theses cases in general, myself and the biggest part of peoples just have give up from a direct way.
Congrats 👍
At the beginning of the repairs, I said to my self - why he didn't flip the board to see what happens at the other side. Anyway thanks for the video, nice to watch
It requires great understanding of this kind of circuits to rebuild conections, Sensei!
Very impressive! Thank's a lot!
Woooow amazing really icant believe , great job Sorin
I can't believe you did it wow amazing, congrats
great Sorin thanks for it!
Hello🤝🤯OMG i can't believe Sorin fix this mess up it's crazy ✌💡🤗👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👋👋👋👋👋👋
100% braver than me at attempting a repair like this! Crazy repair skills 😎
AMAZING JOB YOU GOD OF FIXING
Sorin you are the best!
we think it's common sense to remove the board and inspect, before we butcher it.... yes we know it's a hurry mistake or a over confidence one, but no worries if it works... great job
You are Amazing....Sorin!!!
dude wow you never fail to impress
Sorin the Doctor saves another patient 👍
It's easy to say but look at the motherboard from both sides before you start fixing it. A very important thing!
I could swear it was on the other side by the look of thermal camera how it was diffusing heat. :).
Maybe you didn't see 2 issues of caps on both sides of laptops, but i also never saw on your videos track layers shorted at deep level inside board. It was always short components most of the times. At least on your videos :).
The morale of the story, if you see a diffused heat with thermal camera " check the other side of board!"
Fixing the unfixable - a miracle every day! 😎
Because the board was burnt proceeding on can't get any worse thats the motto brilliant good job
I would have given up after looking at it. You're very experienced.
"How many boards have you seen with 2 blown caps" My personal record has been 5 on an old toshiba sattelite. That one was far beyond my skill to fix, especially since I was first learning repair at that time. Seeing multiple in different spots is rare though, repaired laptops a while now and seen that twice I think. One of them being that board with 5 blown caps and... lots of other burned things.
Actually, rather crazy. Good job!
Impressive fix
SKILLS SKILLS SKILLS ............THAT MY MAN WAS GOD LEVEL STUFF RIGHT THERE ....... RESPECT FROM IRELAND
I was wondering how long it would take you to turn the board around. 😀.
from a begin to end! another perfect end....school master!!
I wish you had gone live on this one. I kept saying check the other side man.
magic ! thx, great job!
Sorin needs a proper dremel tool for that kind of jobs.
Cool Sorin👏
Good job mate 👍
Your patience is much better than my patients
A good Teacher 🙂
I think he is a wizard! That is a hell of a fix! 😮
Ce sursa pentru injectare de curent recomandati? Ceva sa o pot achizitiona si din Romania? Parca imi aduc aminte ca ati prezentat intr-un clip dar nu mai reusesc sa il gasesc. Multumesc anticipat si mult succes in continuare cu canalul! Informatie de exceptie 💻
lol "This is looking worse compared to my barbeque."
Found same exact motherboard on Ebay…..had same exact damage in same place!
I was telling you "it's on the other side" but you couldn't hear me 🤣🤣. Wish you could have seen me shouting at my screen.....
Woow fantastic, good job 👍🙏🙏
Good job
Nice repair
Wow, incredible. Genius.
Hello Mr. Soron you are amazing man. I am wondering if you have ever compared your prices to USA or Australia where I live? A quick look around I see 60 AUS minimum per hour and sometimes minimum blocks of 3 or 4 hours ( even if they find and fix the problem 20 minutes in sir, cheers to you
Not sure about the others, but usually i charge a fixed price of £80 for a normal laptop motherboard repair and £150 for a gaming one
that is veeeeeeeeeeeery awesome really good work
Você é uma fera
great save
Well done. Is that wire thick enough. There is a big trace miss
You're a Genius ❤
