I wonder if you can discuss the real value of owning a yacht per year, like a plane. Discussing salaries, gas, maintenance, docking fee, etc. And what are the potential things to do to offset the cost.
I have been obsessed with this Yacht. I have spent hours on the Pearl website configuring the options, 3D virtual tour and viewing pictures. This is a very very good yacht for the money fully optioned out. Your presentation of the Pearl 82 is very good. The use of the drone with you opening the presentation from the bow lounge. Is fresh and professional looking, it drew me in because nobody else is doing that. The Pearl 82 looked stable in the water with little bow lift and fall. One turn you did I will scrutinize further, looked off camber, might have been an optical illusion from the two craft, yacht and drone, moving at different speeds, elevation and headings. Still jaw dropping yacht as in the performance. I would have an extra SeaDoo on the back hydraulic platform, some seabobs, wake boards, towed inflatables, inflatable islands for water fun and watercraft docking. I say, BRAVO! Jack this was excellent, well done! I will be watching this video over and over, zooming in on things, slowing down the video etc. Great job!

Great review as always Jack, we were on the 82 the other day, that is a vast interior for an 82 , the master on deck is transformative and the interior is so Uber cool. Best new launch at the show, Pearl knocking it out of the park yet again.

As a sailor, I am used to travelling slowly across the water. While yachts like this are amazing. If I had £6 million to spend on a motor yacht I would want a much bigger range than I guess this yacht has. I would be in Palma at the end of the season and be thinking about St Lucia for Christmas. Ah, well back to the old Beneteau, at 72 probably my last yacht. Great video and it is nice to dream. Mmm the lottery, that's the answer.

Helm and flybridge conection to front lovely addition. Clear links between each staff location. 5 cabins, the owners cabin looks off the wall in terms of scale. The TV lounge love it, i would add a thin bulkhead between that and formal dinning room, thats justva me thing. Price is going to destroy rivals, lottery win right now would make me test this against the Bering as my favourite yauht style is the explore. Jack love the video. This will leave a lot of people thinking 6 million v 8 to 10, why pay more.

Very interesting features and Layout. Also i am a big Fan of the "terace" feature of the master cabin to get on the bow of the Yacht. Saw this first time by a BERING Explorer Yacht. The quality of your videos and also the additional informations are excellent.
5 YEAR FULL WARRANTY is something that has not been seen in the whole BOAT industry! Incredible vessel & understated brand. Hopefully i buy one in 2027.

Well presented Jack. So I have subscribed to the channel. ❤ yacht tours. For this one, some of the color, especially the very dark color doesn't score very well, but I am sure that could be to the owner's taste. That is one change I would make. For another change, I would protect the lower helm and give it more of a slant to forward with a shielding over to allow for more viewing (if that makes any sense). The bean bags can be put forward of the owner's cabin in the bow. 🤣 Really do like the interior design (again, except for the very dark colors). Overall, 4 out of 5 stars for this one. Many thanks! 🍷
I always loved multi level rooms in houses. The conversation pit was always a favorite so I love how this boat has lots of fun spaces in it. Like the lower helm station which feels like you are entering a small cosy spaceship. Very cool. Love the prices on the configurator. I really have to put my working class genetics to rest when deciding on a standard white hull or UKP85,000 for an upgrade to blue.
Yacht is a head turner even in the dock. Great materials and style are supreme. Whatsoever, a Range of 250 nautical miles is just an insult! It is absolutely tragic for a boat of this capacity

Pretty good value !!!! Its almost half the price of Princess or Sunseeker. Great boat, I also like a tender and a jetski, Galley a bit small but for this size of boat, its perfect. Don't see anything wrong with this.
The Pearl 82 is a real eye catcher. I love the innovation where they have brought together individual ideas from other manufacturers and combined them into the 82. Side decks are becoming more and more popular, soon it will be a disadvantage not to have them on most MY's. Video as ever really well put together and presented. You're carving out a niche for yourself Jack! Suggestion, have you thought about doing a 48 hours on board video, it would be interesting to see what an extended trip, living and using a MY looks like. A 25m would be nice for you! but maybe start off on something smaller to see how people fair living on different sizes of MY's. Simon
Well she stunning, Pearl 82 has done it again, and gives a good value for money when compared to her rivals. Inside and out her decor is great with plenty of texture and very soothing colour. That master cabin is amazing and is a showstopper. Overall a great boat for family or charter and a good Mediterranean boat. Wish i could have one, but dispite the price its not going to happen 😂
I like it. I'm a suckered for Kelly Hoppen interiors though, I like the design also. A main deck master would suck if you got into some weather, but most of,these yachts aren't going out when the weather is bad and they aren't going to be moving much at night when everyone is asleep. They'll run a few hours is the early morning, use breakfast as a distraction for anchoring, then get everyone ready to do,whatever around 10:30. A boat like this that can't carry much toys though winds up being a port to,port pig though.
The pearl 82 is a great package boat. Access to the forward deck from the owners cabin, is awesome. Would be nice if the bull-works are not as tall, so you could see out the front while in bed.
I didn't think Princess x90 could be beat, but this puts it to shame (except the helm station x90 does have a better solution imo). Amazing boat. Love the layout. EDIT: Changed my mind. Just saw the Sunseeker ocean 156. And it blew my mind!

I think the boat is a bit overstyled, the fiberglass bulwark is blocking the sea view from saloon, but overall nice package for the boat of this size. Diagonal lower deck lobby is also smart design, placing stairs is always an issue while designing a boat.
Do you have info on the ownership of the company? Their website tells us Margaret Whittaker (British) is an owner, but at which percentage and if there are other owners of the company then at which share? It would be great, and probably advantageous for them to loudly market the company as British-owned if that's the case.
This yacht is way better than some tours of 150’ or longer yachts only because the crew space has an actual dry head for crew on an 80 or so foot yacht while the crews on the bigger ships are stuck with wet heads. Terrible
I'll start with a complaint. This is a Bill Dixon design of everything that isn't the interior. He should get as much credit as Kelly Hoppen if not more. If this is a mini-super yacht you can thank Bill Dixon. Best part of this review is when you said this is a Kelly Hoppen design interior and it's not to everyone's taste. It is not. Frankly her design makes me cringe. That does prove that it's striking and dramatic. If you gave me one of these I'd flip it and after taxes buy a 20 year old Fairline 40 - or a toothbrush.

Whenever I look at these yachts with big windows it always raises the question of safety - how will these windows withstand a freak wave!
