Another excellent review. You have an excellent formula for reviews that i absolutely love to watch. Drone footage, each space segmented, etc. And Jack is an excellent host. Just the right amount of detail, clearly explained. This is a beautiful boat! I love skippering so much, I just wouldn’t buy it because I don’t want the hassle of arranging for a crew. So many beautiful touches. Sunseeker does so well. I wouldn’t buy it strictly due to size, maybe when my kids are teens and can help out crewing. Glad to hear that Sunseeker didn’t skip the fun to drive part!
Nice boat, well laid out. I like the fact that you give the price plus option prices. A lot of these boat reviews seem to use the same theory Rolls Royce used to use with their cars. ‘If you have to ask, you can’t afford it’.
All Sunseekers are beautiful and this one is no exception, really nice finishes throughout and nicely spec'd. For me personally I do not like the galley right at the front so maybe I would go for the 90 Ocean. Great tour Jack thank you.
Oh wow Sunseeker done it again. Practical, stylish and comfortable exterior and interior. 25 knots 400+ nautical miles. Nice. Unfortunately I will have to dream, so no boat for me.😢
I do like this yacht, however, I don't like the Galley so far upfront, I'm sure also, with lights on at night, its not good for the night vision during a night passage. for this size, I much prefer the Princess MY85. Sunseeker do a great 131 which is actually my favorite boat, though some more customisable brands are getting close. Great tour and very informative, we've been through all the cupboards etc with Nick already lol so good you missed a lot of that.
Great interior design very calm colors not so sure about the forward galley great because of the working space but no good if you want to travel at night and also very very hot here in the med would certainly need extra A/c upgrades in the area, funny there’s a tv in the crew area when do crew ever have time to sit and watch tv😂😂😂
Reading everyone's comments I must be alone in not liking it. It's stuck in a middle ground of not quite being stylish enough like the Italian designed yachts but neither is it traditionally British and it has no identity of its own. The helms are a mess which is frankly unforgivable on a boat costing 7.5 million quid plus tax. Great tour as always though. Yachtbuyer are the best in the business.
Excellent video, beautiful yacht, I actually like the galley up front, midnight snacks on watch. Captions says £7.4 million ex vat, but you said £7.4 inc vat? I'm guessing ex vat.
Hi Vernon, they're called "trailing pumps". They supply oil pressure for gearbox lubrication when the props aren't turning via the gearbox but rather by 'wind milling' in the water when the boat is being towed or running on one engine. Essentially means you can run one one engine without cooking the other gearbox, as I understand it. Hope that helps - Jack
Nice yacht, but I can't believe the crew quarters entrance is where it is. Can you imagine going to your quarters at night, in bad weather? Wind, rain, slightly rough seas?
I also hate only access to crew area is from the swim platform - dangerous in any seaway. This yacht needs a substantial design rethink from anm operational perspective.
@@Yachtbuyer hey what did you mean by "trailing pumps" (or something similar) that allow you to run on only one engine? are other yachts (for example, with conventional propulsion, IPS... - azimuts and similar) not able to do that?

She's Cat B for 24 people so, to quote the recreational craft directive: "This rating includes boats operating offshore with winds to 40 knots and significant seas to 13 feet" - Jack
Like always great! Could you also test the new Nimubs 495 Fly? I think the 50feet range is the most competative and I really would like to here how the Nimbus is compared to the others, like Princess, Prestige, Galeon, Absolute, Azimut. Thanks in advance!
Great video and what a nice boat. But if i was a owner and had crew onboard i would feel a bit awkward to have such an wonder full owners cabin but they are sleeping with 4 people in a small room like that. Only for that reason i just would drive it myself.
People keep, complaining about the cost of Sunseeker, however, in 20 years, this yacht will have retained more than 85% of its value. Which means that you can use the yacht and the level of depreciation isn't as great as your level of annual ownership. These will always be in demand, amd you'll always ma,make, enough to buy an older smaller model when the kids go off to uni and it's just the 2 of you and a couple, friends
Ive always been a princess guy but sunseekers latest ocean series are stunning ! Especially the 90 skylounge and the new 80 skylounge are just the perfect machines for family with just a skipper! The interior space and the exsterior space is unmatched in the production yacht catagory! This 88 is stunning! If i was to buy a sports series id go princess s78 but if i went for a flybridge it would be the 90 ocean 186 if thats the correct name but its with the skylounge and no lower helm! You cannot compare a flybrige with only 1 main deck! Having main deck saloon and another saloon up in the skylounge is perfection! Kids upstairs and adults on main deck! Sunseeker exstend is also a fantastic thing to have! Never thought id buy a sunseeker over princess but the ocean series from sunseeker are king! Never thought id say that! 🙏🩵
I don't like any yacht where the crew has to go into a dangerous area to get into their quarters. Can you imagine an ocean crossing in poor weather and you have to go the the stern to get to your bed? I don't like it. Not to mention the size of quarters. Nothing like sleeping in a coffin sized shared cabin.
It really is a beautiful ship. But what surprises me are the prices of the extras... That is not in realisation. I have the Princess price list and it doesn't look any different... 3,900 pounds for a washing machine... It's easy to feel ripped off!
When are the manufacturers (all of them) going to start providing decent seating, inside and out, with higher, supportive backs to them? NONE of them are really fit for purpose, they're ALL stupidly low backed!
Are those boarding gates really providing any value? Wouldn't they need to be higher to afford any safety? They always seem to be about as high as an adults shin. They almost seem like more of a trip hazard than a safety feature.
From the outside the 88 yacht is much more pleasing and nice to look at. From the inside the 90 ocean is far more advanced and awesome but somehow bulky and ugly looking from the outside. If inside space is more important than the look, take the ocean 90
all the upgrades are part of the standard boat. take them away and you have half a boat. how stupid is that ! there are no upgrades. it's the boat as it should be.

Thanks Jack! Very practical yacht...for 88 ft. !!
Sure is! - J
Hands down, for an 88 ft yacht, I would definitely expect a tender garage and more storage space for my toys! As usual great review though 👍
Thanks 👍
Another top video Jack 😊👍 - Scott

I have always liked Sunseeker and the 88 is a rather nice yacht. Might have to take a closer look into the 88.
16:31 This interior decor is perfectly elegant ❤ This is a refined modern sophistication, not bold and radical.
Brilliant review Jack & team; enjoyable and informative in just the right mix.
Not a boat I’d personally want, especially not at that price 😮
Glad you enjoyed it, Nic!
Oh wow Sunseeker done it again. Practical, stylish and comfortable exterior and interior.
25 knots 400+ nautical miles. Nice. Unfortunately I will have to dream, so no boat for me.😢
I'm surprised it only has a B category! Guess it's Sunseeker thing I've noticed. Thanks Jack great tour!
Thanks for watching!
What an absolutely sexy engine room and the video editing is awesome. Add Mr. Haines in and I would say this dish is just short of a masterpiece.

Sitting in a diner 24/7 driving that thing..😂🎉

Nice yacht, but I can't believe the crew quarters entrance is where it is. Can you imagine going to your quarters at night, in bad weather? Wind, rain, slightly rough seas?
You can get to them via the deck hatch in the cockpit, too, you just have to go through the engine room - Jack

Could you do an indept review of the X-Treme 78 Fly with sea trial? Espcially the systemn what they use for ankering is stunning
That galley will make nightmares trying to keep the windscreens clean.
A really dumb place to locate the galley. A distraction to the helm and blocks much of the crucial view.
This is a crewed yacht and the galley location reflects that
It's designed to also accommodate solo expeditions.
Great tour of an impressive yacht. How is it rated for heavy seas?

Is there an option of a steering joystick instead of steering wheels?
Yes, a joystick is an option but you still have the steering wheel as the joystick is designed for slow speed manoeuvres - Jack
It would be interesting to see it in rough sea.
I'd rather pick up a steel Bering at the same price!
Oh dear! A floating shoe box!
