What a beautiful thing the Flemming is and pretty much the dream of most " liveaboarders" . Large enough to be free of any major compromises but small enough to handle as an owner. Stunning !
This is a boat that just works. It's classic design thats been around for along time and will be around for along time. Because it works. Great video 👍
You can't not love a Fleming. Their ability to go anywhere is reflected in the price as oppose to the Med yachts, could you take a Princess of Sunseeker to Alaska? If you don't already I'd recommend people watch Tony Fleming's adventures on TH-cam, the filmography is amazing. Great video Jack.
I was pleasantly surprised that I actually liked this boat. The outer styling seemed a little outdated to me at first. I wish that the cockpit furniture was more flexible (why? I don't know as I will never be able to afford one). Overall it really proved to be a nice boat with some nice features and I'm always grateful that Jack and company bring us these videos. I greatly enjoy them. Thanks again Jack.
Personally, I'm a big fan of Fleming's boats and I love watching Tony's videos on YT. I really feel they need an update in the design. Personally, I would go an Aluminum boat, forward racked windows in the helm station and just a more modern design.
Great tour, the level that this boat is optioned to is perfect for owner operator. This has all the amenities that a luxury yacht in this length and price point should have. The safety of moving about while under way with plenty of hand holds that continue even in the engine room.
Nothing wrong how Jack looks but instead of filming him you could show more of a boat. For example the day head was not shown at all but Jack explaining how it is. Nice videos though.
It’s his intention to keep things moving along. Who’s that clown that always wears a dumb hat? His tours are agonizingly slow. I never make to the end unless I go to double speed or just skip ahead.
Absolutely beautiful yacht, love all the wood work on here and the cabins are great, nice flow and spacious everywhere. This or the Nordhavn N63 what a dilemma I would love to have. Great tour Jack thank you.
Exquisite vessel to be sure. Wonderful balance between classic and modern that just oozes with quality. Nice job keeping the momentum up on the tour as well.p
Great tour as always Jack and team, thank you. If I had the budget it would be this or a Bering, just down to whether I wanted the extra to end it not. What a decision that would be!
Wow, a new Fleming, that doesn't happen often! Great job getting this one Jack, haven't seen it anywhere else yet 👏👏 Really useful updates, more liveable than the 58. Crikey, Targa and Fleming modernising in the same year... 👍
As always,Fantastic presentation by yourself !! Like the boat but will always support your Chanel as you are so efficient and thorough in your presentations mate.
Great video. Would you consider the Selene Ocean Explorer 60 a competitor? For about 1/3 less cost, its an ocean going (albeit full displacement) highly customizable and well built vessel.
Great presentation as always. Lovely boat for everything.... feels like a small beach cottage... on the water. Is that a Spinnaker Automatic SP-5093 this time (pun intended)?
Fleming 60 her exterior and interior is flexible, specious, safety, comfortable and versatility. She can go fast 21 knots or slow 8 knots. She a family live aboard, an explorer, a holiday boat, she at home dealing with the Mediterranean or the Atlantic. An owner operator. She is all things to all owners. Very very nice.
Great tour as usual! So can this boat traverse the open oceans? I'm assuming it COULD, but you wouldn't want to do that. If it can't the price tag seems steep for what you're getting and I think it's all based on the name.
As a long-time sailor, this is a perfect owner operator motor yacht. There is a BUT? I have an elderly Beneteau, and I scrub the waterline and unblock the nasty things myself. I very occasionally polish the hull and the other bits of gelcoat. Here is the BUT. If I could afford a £4mill ish yachts, do I want to wash my own car, never mind polish my own yacht. When the day head gets blocked because someone did not follow the rules, do I want to roll up my sleeves? There is sense in a crew cabin on a yacht like this.
One thing I would like to see for these Owner-Operator Boats is a Beefed-Up Bimini/Awning Structure with Flex Solar Panels to Max-out Power @Anchor as a Factory option.
I would love to see something like a Kelly Hoppen or Alberto Mancini designed interior on a Fleming 60. Superb boat though and absolutely the one I'd choose if I was vanishing over the horizon for a year or two.
I would use the "Crew Berth" space as a technical/aux. machinery space for a 2nd watermaker, expanded LFP Battery Bank, and perhaps a black water sanitizer system (for a larger boat). I served on submarines in the US Navy and we had a TDU (Trash Disposal Unit) to compact and safely dispose weighted, containerized trash. Trash containment & Disposal is never discussed in reviews; not sexy topic but an important one, especially for long passages (eg. 3 Cheers for large Chain Lockers, LOL).
Wonder how it compares to the Outer Reef Aquaholic viewed a few weeks ago, it seemed very competitive price but bigger all round, love this Fleming though, proper stuff !
Ooo! thats pretty cool , thanks for that . the 640 Outer Reef doesn't have the same range as the Fleming though, given the price of the Fleming wouldn't the Outer Reef 650 be a better comparison its the same over all length as the Fleming 60 but has 3300 mile range. Hard to choose between them , half of me loves the Fleming cus it looks so great and the other half of me loves the Outer Reef for the more open interior and the bigger flybridge , now where's that lottery ticket.
A Personal Request: Could you arrange to review the Elling E6? Amazing concept of a Luxury "Uber-Lifeboat" with Fleming speed & range with similar LOA. No One has done an English Language, in-depth review/test of this boat, only Russian language.
just out of curiosity, why does he keep emphasizing 500mm? it is a nautical thing or it just sounds bigger better than saying extended 50cm or half a meter?
He refers to "Express Joystick System and Express Positioning by Twin Disc." Think of a joystick or mouse on your computer to move the boat around. One-handed, an easy operation. th-cam.com/video/ui0s3xI8Tfc/w-d-xo.html

Fantastic boat and an exemplary review, I think you need to do a sea trial Jack , I would humbly suggest a round trip to the med ,in summer obviously, however its possible the new owner might want to use it, thanks for a very entertaining video.
What a great vessel, I want one, I need one, I must have one!!!! can they drop a few zeros off the price so I can get one? pretty please with a cherry on top, ill take it around Australia and show everyone, ill even sell some of my morals
The more I watch videos of boats, the more I am fascinated by traditional design. Perhaps it is because they do not flaunt wealth or make you think you are living in an ultramodern mansion. Boats like this one tell you that those who own them love being at sea and are lucky enough to be able to live without urgencies, because time is the real wealth. Shit, I'm thinking like a retiree! 🤣
be still, my heart. what a beauty. i dont know what got the fleming people hung up on the california decks though. awful on the 85 and awful on this one.
@@Yachtbuyer Interior sells the boat, then the bones of the boat become important. If I can't stand the interior, the gunnels and anchor windlass isn't going to change my mind. I realize you are pointing out the changes to get to the 60 from the 58.

Phenomenal tour, Jack! Timeless design and clean lines. Fleming absolutely nailed the 60.

Thanks Simon. Yes, Tony’s stuff is top notch 👌 - Jack
Normally I do not like the look of flaming but this one I do. I do enjoy how practical a Fleming is to meet more than just one need.
I like it! it has modern amenities, but still remains rustic, with plenty of power, and top end if needed.
I was pleasantly surprised that I actually liked this boat. The outer styling seemed a little outdated to me at first. I wish that the cockpit furniture was more flexible (why? Honestely, I’m here for jacks pecks and neck shots
Couldnt agree more. Cameraman and editing could do better to sync what jack is saying and the vids is showing

Am i right in saying they used the 2ft extra to access both sides of engines comfortably?
Another obvious upgrade option I would like to see is for the props to be upgraded to VEEM-Sharrow propellers for better range & speed in the mid-rpm.
Nice boat. What is the hull made of Jack ? Happy New Year to you….

Without the 'crew cabin.' Antother 500ltr tank and work area 👍
My last name is Fleming. Can I have my boat now please??? 😂 I'd like a blue one!
Fabulous Fleming.
But really needs the camera showing the boat 95% and Jack 5%.
After all this is supposed to be about the boat?
Nice
good vessel, staterooms, crew cabin, elektronicks, man engine, range, for 20m vessel enough.
5m including VAT is too much, whichever way you look at it.

So the F60 is literally a F58 with california deck?
yeah! a Fleming with passerelle and on 50hz just need the £5m to buy it lol
We now know what it's like on a birth , but no mention about at sea.
We'll have to save that for the sea trial...
4.5m ex VAT for 60ft is insane. I know it's a great boat but that seems just too much.
