It’s got to be one of the most beautiful yachts in the world with four IPS drives never heard about a yacht with four maybe three IPS drives. Yes, the Italians should be worried. Thanks jack for having to be the first with a proper walk-through.👍👍
I've had the pleasure of being on a 7 and can attest that Zeelander builds one of the most beautiful and yet still practical boats in the world. I would describe a Zeelander as a Picaso on the water.
Beautiful boat that has a majestic, almost ethereal quality to it. The depth of engineering is also apparent in the design and comes across strongly in the review. If I had the money, it would be top of my list. Respect also to the quality of this review, the production, the details and the presentation are for me some of the best around. Fab review of a fab boat.
Amazing Jack, thank you! I’ve loved Zeelander yachts for years and this is the best I’ve seen. I’d say the forward crew area would make a great space for teenagers who could help with cleaning it all!
I disagree, you need multiple man- strength on a yacht…you need to manage emergency situations as well, pull somebody out of the water, move supply, handle the ropes, winch, maintain lookout, provide security, do shifts…and do real work…
I’ve been waiting for months (since I mentioned it to you when it was docked next to another yacht you reviewed) for this Zeelander walkthrough and wow what a beauty! Really appreciate the time and effort you put in to these videos! The Z8 is just an incredible creation and it’s definitely top of the list, with no real competition, for me if one day I have the funds to buy.
The entire lineup from Zeelander is gorgeous, and while I knew the price tag for the Z8 was going to be steep I wasn't REALLY expecting a base price of nearly $8.5M (I was thinking in the mid $7M range LMAO). The one I'd probably get, if I hit the right numbers, would be the Z6 though. Still has the interior side entry tender garage, the flip down swim platform and ultra-sleek lines. But at 55 feet it would be much easier for a cruising couple to handle and maintain.
Absolutely beautiful, functional and so Dutch!! Just awesome. The only detail that quite honestly drove me nuts was the windshield wipers right in the middle of the windshield.
No design has handled upscaling this well since Riva looked at the Aquarama and pondered if they could fit a cabin on it and even that design loses its identity above 60 ft. This is astonishing.
Amazing Intro Jack. Whoever does the editing did a phenomenal job. I thought I had accidentally started a movie instead of a Yachtbuyer video. At first glance, my immediate reaction was that this boat must have been designed and built by a subsidiary of Rolls Royce. It reminds me of the Boat Tail model that Rolls Royce built a couple of years ago. This is such an elegant and very timeless design. I love everything about it. Thanks for sharing it with us.
This is a seriously elegant yacht. I was having fantasies of heading to Miami with a martini in hand (I don't usually drink martini's) before the video even started. Great video🍸!!!
Definitely expensive but WOW what a machine, this is truly beautiful in every department, I love all the colours and finishes and a great layout. It has some great design features and has been well thought out, if there are any faults anywhere I could definitely live with them. Great tour Jack thank you.
_In no way will I ever afford a yacht, but I do enjoy watching these videos. Two of my favorite yacht influencers are Nick Burnham & David Seal. I now add a third favorite subscription, Jack Haines!!_
It's definitely "one man's dream"! No operating windows in the salon hmmm needs a side helm door and access for your navigator. The fridge 😂 and performance a lot of ponies for 40 knots! Quite the Gentleman's toy! Great tour Jack too bad you weren't able to take her out
Amazing!! Gives you the idea of safety and non stop traveling around the world. Even if someone is not a seaman with this will become one!! Super expensive yes, but you buy what you paid for.
Her interior is light and airy, she feels very straightforward, refined, calm, relaxing and peaceful. Your on holiday in your own home from home. Lovely salon and galley which is on a straight line while the rest of the Salon has curvy lines. Nice cabins, restful comfortable all having en-suite. Nice crew area. Specious engine room good room to get around to service engines. She a sailor boat look after her she'll look after you.
Really stunning looks! All models look gorgeous but this one in particular. I think a darker hull color would benefit that look even more, blending in the lines of the hatches and doors. Pretty sure the airco will be able to manage all weathers, being Dutch built. Would loved to have seen some solar though.🎉
This is a VERY crowded space on TH-cam. But this is a fine yacht channel. Well done. This vessel is spectacular. I never think a day boat needs crew quarters - but that's me. That's ALOT of space for a crew. Outside it's a cleaning nightmare - but you ain't cleaning it! I think Zeelander's are real eye-catchers - very pricey stand outs.
Beautiful Yacht, you mention the one piece panoramic windscreen, Yet I couldn't get past the fact that the 3 massive wipers, apparently meant to stay in an upright position, disturb the view. Was there not a better way to engineer the wipers so that they didn't interrupt the forward view during calm weather?
Great yacht build. Almost a sports car Nautical design. I would go for a Bering 82 for the money. Different boats for different purposes. Very sexy yacht. Thanks for a great review. Happy new year all. 🐻
Excellent review, there is so much to like about Zeelander, I'm just not sure this layout would work well underway at sea. For lots of owners that is fine but some of us would also look at this yacht to go offshore and it has a few shortcomings particularly on deck and the galley. Even changing the galley still leaves the deck issues which is a shame.
Should have guessed you were seeing Zeelander when you were in Holland, darn it! Lol Great tour, beautiful boat, Great Gatsby vibes, but with modern tech... Hope you managed to fit in more models, while there 👍
I’ve finally found a yacht I might sacrifice the guest cabin experience for the rest of the package. Would be Nice to have even an inset smaller slider glass in Port helm
Funny I saw this a few days ago and was very impressed, yes four engines 😳😳🥳 I do like it classic lines ❤️ ahh you just mentioned the lack of openings not good,it needs big a/c for the med then, I was a captain on a Mangusta 80 hard top it was like a greenhouse in July August nightmare even with the air con I the cockpit just tooooo hot 🙉🙉🙉
Wow….what a Superb Quality & Stunning looking Machine ….. But I can’t believe you didn’t mention the Elephant in the Room ….. What the heck is going on with those Windscreen Wipers !!!?? 😱😱🤦♂️🤦♂️ Talk about Ruining the Look ….truly Shocking. That those big Stainless wiper arms are in the middle of the screen …..Surely they need to be hidden when not in Use ……No way could I buy that boat with a View out Through massive wiper blades 🤔🤔🤔🤦♂️🤦♂️. Apart from that ….Just stunning 😍 ❤
Achingly beautiful yacht. One thing that I’d change: cars have wipers that sit horizontally in the bottom of the windscreen when not in use, why is it that boats need wipers vertically on the windscreen?
@@Yachtbuyer Fair enough, Jack, but does the "buyer" want to see that when watching a video and considering spending millions? He or she may not make the phone call to ask that question... BLOWN SALE.
I’ve skippered upto 72’ but this looks fantastic. View from the helm is great but sadly they don’t seem to have configured a side door to the helm if you decide on no crew. Great design but although outdoor living is the real draw, especially in the Med or Caribbean, the ‘lounge’ looks rather stiff and not very cosy. Again, as said, plenty of scope for personalisation. Great tour Jack, as usual.
Cheers James! The lack of a side door is less of an issue with the cockpit station and DPS but it would improve movement around the boat, you’re right - Jack
Great video as always and great boat - should it not be flying the Maltese flag, since it is Valletta registered? I'm Maltese that's why I noticed and commented 😊😊

Where is the reboarding ladder for when the transom is closed? I ask because I can usually spot them and I can't here. And I'd love to see a launching and recovery of the dingy. I saw a Zeelander when we were in the Bay in San Diego. I always thought Flemings were the most beautiful Yachts and they still are but this adds a whole new dimension of Sexy to the mix. Bridge clearance and draft please.
The passarelle opens outboard of the swim platform so can be used irrespective of whether the platform is open or closed.

@@philipwright7186 Not talking about the passarelle. I'm talking about a reboarding ladder for when I drunkenly fall over the side. It's required to maintain class.
I can easily imagine how they launch the dingy. But how do they take it in? When someone set the dingy straight onto the track, where does he stand and how does he get back on board?

@ teenagers can do all of that with the correct training. My son could do it all on our boat by the age of 11.

Sleek and stylish! Love all the innovations, and I was not expecting such an on point crew area. Very nice 👌

A piece of art. Sublime engineering.
Long awaited presentation of the magnificent Zeelander yachts❤

Rolls Royce of yachts, thanks for proper review jack

Thanks for the in depth review, Jack. Zeelander is my nr1 when it comes to style, detail and engines. This new 8 is everything combined.

A beautiful yacht for sure.
Wonderful yacht - would rather this over many boats
Only thing i dont like is the windscreen wippers, outside of data stunning. Cracking video.
What a beautiful MY, really classy and set's itself apart from other MY's. It would look absolutely stunning in the South of France or Italy.

I notice that vision forward is quite limited with bow up so high. The last frames of video shows it better. Beautiful ship though.
