- In this video i will be showcasing and showing you how the auto dimming feature works on this spec Golf. This comes as standard on some specs of the car. You can also get this as a optional extra when the car was new. I also show you how well it dims and explain how it works.

Is it possible to get the power from that mirror to power a dash cam?
Yes but its too littlepower to run a dashcam
I got an RCD 330 radio as well, but when i put it in reverse i don’t see the parking sensors on the screen. I only see a black screen and a message that the camera (which i don’t have) is not available.
Press the ok after the message pops up that you don't a camera, it should pop up the sensors on screen then, if not then you might need to code the sensors in or they haven't been wired up properly.

If you were to sell now what price would it be?
at the moment my insurance values it at 6500, but for private if i cleaned everything up like all the bad tiny scratches and sort out the seats then i could probably get around 7500 to 8000 as it is low mileage dsg tsi engine 7 speed high spec model, plus i have put a lot of work into the car in upgrading it

I got it cheap at 4000, i bought it off a doctor too so it was driven well, his reason for selling cheap was he needed space in his drive for his new cars which benefited me more than him haha
Mines not working its not green
Does green light show on or no light lit, if not lit press the button should turn it on
Did you manage to get your thermostat issue sorted ?
Yes just replaced thermostat car is working very well now warms up very fast even in winter no issue since

@@101unpredictable i paid around £20 for the part and only £10 labour but thats because he knows me, should be similar ish price not too sure

Better if you showed the mirror dimmer working at night maybe?
Haha i tried it on camera very hard to tell difference cos of darkness, thats why i did it in day so you can see the colour change of the glass
