Gotta say, the mirror in my old 62 plate Peugeot 308 worked flawlessly. The rest of the car was crap but the mirror was great! 😂
Or you can use a smartphone/laptop camera cover and slide that back and forth to cover the front facing camera.

At least mine has a power button so it can turned off and used like a normal rear view mirror.
