This was well known up until the mouse was running all of superhero Hollywood. That's ultimately one of the things that made Raimi Spider-Man so memorable. The soundtracks for all 3 films are just so fucking good.
I’ve long said that video game composers have the hardest job of any composer, a movie composer of a tv show composer has to make entertaining soundtracks that don’t distract and react to the tonality of the scene, But a video game composer has to make music that matches the background environment, supplements the scene and can be replayed over and over again no matter how long the player takes

The issue with Peter and Venom is that Peter never set boundaries with Venom the same way Eddie had rules. Peter didn't try to reason with Venom and only saw the symbiote as a tool, a thing instead of a person.

The costume literally manipulated Peters brain chemistry to keep him asleep as it fought using his body at night. Influenced his personality and thoughts (at least past the animated series in 1994) in hopes it would lead Peter to be dependent on itself and only itself, pushing away his family and friends. Also it never really spoke to Peter internally like it does Brock, whether it was thoughts he knew weren't coming from him or literally another voice in his head. The suit was hoping to play the long game until Peter was addicted to it.

It's unfortunately less than the sum of its parts, an absolutely terribly paced movie that still has some real high points.... aaaand some real low ones too. The action is pretty kickass though. As someone who greatly preferred the Marc Webb duology on rewatch, Rami still does action way better, especially in 3. The punches freaking HURT.
I think Venoms design was actually really good outside of his size. The video game version of the character is much closer to what should've been done in the movie, as well as the animatronic that was made and ultimately scrapped because Sony didn't want the filming to take too long

Damnmmmmm!!! Like I grew up with the Toby films but Andrew is still my favorite Spider-Man I used to think I hated the original trilogy but that was more due to the fact everyone hated on Andrew and his films, but when I rewatched the original trilogy for Spider-Man NWH I remembered just how good it was. Plus the music was epic, so hearing that theme in this scene you are 100% right, it fits just so god damn well! I really hope when the game comes out people do this for other scenes too.
Something I’d like to mention because apparently it’s not common knowledge is that Christopher Young was the composer for Spider-Man 3, not Danny Elfman. He dropped out because of disagreements with Sam Raimi about Spider-Man 2’s score. Christopher Young also composed the music for Hellraiser, Hellbound, and he later worked with Sam Raimi again in 2009 to do the music for Drag Me to Hell (an absolutely phenomenal score).

Something I’d like to mention because apparently it’s not common knowledge is that Christopher Young was the composer for Spider-Man 3, not Danny Elfman. He dropped out because of disagreements with Sam Raimi about Spider-Man 2’s score. Christopher Young also composed the music for Hellraiser, Hellbound, and he later worked with Sam Raimi again in 2009 to do the music for Drag Me to Hell (an absolutely phenomenal score).
