The original call and response is a solid bit of dialogue, but having Spider-Man, of all characters, completely disregard a chance to one-up a villain's quip in order to scream a profanity is shocking in the best way at the most earned moment.
It's like when Luke Skywalker hears Vader mention turning Leia to the Dark Side, and he just completely disregards all fighting technique and starts swinging his lightsaber at his head like a baseball bat. It's the difference between "okay, now I REALLY need to win" verses "this is no longer a game, I'm going to kill you right now."

Peter visits Fisk in prison and beats him within an inch of his life, then Peter threatens to shoot web fluid down Kingpin's airways if Aunt May dies from her injuries.
Yup! There’s also a story where doc oc’s mind inhabits Pete’s body and punches a dudes jaw clean off. He realizes in that moment that Peter has been holding back all these years and how kind he truly is.
Hey don’t forget he can also stop trains, speeding cars from 60-0 in a few seconds and most importantly is strong enough to bend tracks with just his webs and brute strength. If Spider-Man gets angry enough or just snapped and went rogue the city is screwed

Otto CHOSE to do all of this, fully aware that what he was doing had the potential to kill every human being in the WORLD if it broke containment. If anything, he was counting on it. His body count by this point is already in the thousands, if not tens of thousands. Even without Aunt May's life being on the line, it would make sense that THIS is finally the moment that breaks Peter's willingness to be a friendly neighbor. The man he looked up to like a father is in a good position to kill more people than any army or government in history, and he'll do it without a second thought because revenge has so overtaken his reason he's well past thinking anything through. This is the moment Pete HAS to be okay with killing Otto, because there is no act of redemption that can make the course Otto has committed to with his actions. That he doesn't actually do it says more about Peter's core unwillingness to kill than his actual morality here. The finale is a moment where Peter foolishly tries to take an imagined moral high ground instead of doing the necessary thing, and we all know that it's just going to make more misery for him later.
This is a genuine improvement on the original scene, good god. Yuri's delivery was incredible for that line, doubly so considering it was for a random background character in The Last of Us Part 1. The mixing here is also incredible, there's no disconnect whatsoever.
