Great score! It's tough to find a Camaro that isn't completely butchered, wrecked or rotted into the ground, but both of those cars look suprizingly good. The revive and drive sounds ridiculous, so I'll be looking forward to the video series on that!!!
@@Iamthathillbilly About five million tonnes of road salts are used in Canada each year to mitigate ice and snow conditions on roads and to provide safer road conditions. 😀
@@Iamthathillbilly Canada is famous for the length and intensity of its winters. Given the amount of road salt and moisture in the winter months, it may be no surprise that Canadian cars tend to rust more quickly than their southern brethren. This can be a real issue when shopping for a used car.
Wow never expected you to build a first gen let alone two first gens. My favorite cars. Can't wait for this series and thank you so much for sharing. Awesome!!!! Wish I could afford a first gen camaro again but prices are crazy. Will enjoy watching you build.
I hope you build both cars Dan, I'll be looking forward to seeing every video. 1st gen Camaro is an awesome car and difficult to find and I know one will be a keeper, build the other one for an awesome profit on top of the good content, thanks for the videos 👍👍
I think he should build and keep both but sell off some others so he can add a 69 to the fleet and ha the complete trio of the first generation to show side by side
That 's great score Dan ! will be interesting see you work these builds ! Most of us would say to much work and money to get these back on the road, but I know you can do this and the get the one on the road and drive the 500 miles back home GO FOR IT DAN !!!
Hey Dan, Great finds. It's going to be different watching you put a first generation camaro together. I loved my camaro's when I had them. With all the parts you have you can build both. Keep the best one and sell the other. Even make the one a nice roller. You'll make a ton more of money then you paid. Those camaro's are getting real hard to find. Take care and be safe.
Dan you have found pure gold two times over! Talk about highly sought after cars, everyone wants a first generation Camaro so building both might get you a free one for yourself with a nice profit. I've been a fan for a while now and have watched you in personal awe rescuing far worse examples so do what you do and enjoy a huge jump in viewers because these are cars people want to see rescued.
This is awesome! Love the Tri-5’s but looking forward to some Camaro content. I would vote for putting one together as is and selling like you did with the challenger.
I'm jealous! Great find, can't wait to see you build these cars. I think you should stick with the plan to put one together and drive it home. From there maybe do a long term resto, on both, DD style of course.
You gotta build both, one for you, one for Dani. No more Tri-fives, Camaro life. Big Block one for you, small block one for Dani. Awesome Brother. Awesome !!
Hi Dan. I think build two sell one is a good idea. All the parts except for the drive train are there. You're really lucky to found no one, just two almost complete 1st gen Camaros in good shape.
I'd love to see that '67 built, looks like it has a lot of potential. Though, with time constraints, I can see how the '68 is alluring. You just have to kinda throw it together. But Y Windows are cool... The '67 has also been turned into a hot rod at some point, giving it a cool bit of history. Both cars definitely deserve to get built.
You have two cars that could be built into nice driver quality vehicles. You have so much good stuff in your possession. We know how strong the market is for parts availability for first generation Camaros - the possibilities are numerous. You probably do not have the time to show love and attention to both cars but they both deserve it. You are one lucky dog.
I would build the 67 ,it's my favorite cause it's the first year of the camaros history , plus it's small door vent windows are awesome. Good luck , I'll be watching. God bless yall real good.
Do the magic Dan. Love a '68 Camaro. My 1st real car was a '70 model. I put Vector mags, Highjacker rear shocks and Thrush mufflers on it. Plus the Pioneer stereo and rear deck speakers in it. I was one of the coolest guys in High School. Overall in life, I still am.
I greatly admire your ambition and enthusiasm I would concentrate on one really good car and sell second to help finance. It’s going to make real interesting project after tri-5s show. Tow them home and take your time building Good luck whatever
They are both builders. I have owned a 67 and a couple 68s, and if memory serves me correct the doors are not a simple swap. I think the hinges may be welded on and the two years had different bolt patterns where they bolt to the jam. Also the 67 has windwing wedge windows oon the doors and the 68 only has the door main glass.
Left message year or so ago if you had a 68 camaro you do now, still have 2, 8s a 7 and a 8 fire chicken shell. Can't wait to see where you take them. You were actually the one that inspired me to finish my 57 conversion, thanx for that, almost their, thanks for the channel. 67 wing window only year.
Nice find. Small gold mine right there Dan. Build them both an sell one to pay for both builds. As usual, another awesome video. Your full of surprises Dan. Keeps me coming back. Keep on Motoring brother!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Build the 68 and make it 67 with the 67 doors, love the wing windows ! Oh ya get rid of the marker lites too. And don't try to build it to drive it home...Great cameras..
Now ur talking my language! Had a 67 in the early 90s and sold it, also regretted it. But I bought a 67 RS a few years ago all original along with its bumps and bruises. Needs all redone. Thinking of going LS and the original patina paint for a sleeper. Can't wait to see where this goes. U rock!
Ive been building a 68' Camaro for a year and I have everything to build it. Just takes time to assemble. I wish my car would of had all the parts when I bought it.
Good find just blast the one and some finishing body work.!! Wow I’d love to have a project first jen !! Hammer down buddy can’t wait to see this build!! !
This is great. I had a 67 RS (no the hideaway headlights didnt work) came with a old 327 which we swapped out for a LT1 pushing approx 450hp, shortly thereafter the 10 bolt rear disintegrated lol...Hey you asked about searching by VIN, GM Canada had kept great records (for Canadian made cars) for a long time and would provide a build sheet etc. if you contacted them. That was a while ago but worth a shot.
Great road trip! So far.... But you seem to have scored on Cameros. Handy to have a friend like Josh, you are gonna want to keep him around. I know he would have Carte Blanche with me. I know you will treat him right. Guys like that don't come along very often. You are doing great things. Keep it up. Best of luck to you.
Dan, those look better than any of the tri fives you started with. A revive and drive with the nomad would have been something!!! I’m thinking Fred Flinstone drivetrain, you would have needed new flip flops.
They make everything for them, even a whole new car. The only bad thing about it is, you would title it when you buy it , no matter the year. You'll make a nice one or two out of them, seeing your ability to build cars. Thanks Ronnie. Build the V8 car to factory or there abouts and the other Pro Street it.
Bought a '67 RS Camaro in 1977. 327, spun mains. Paid $50 for it. Bunch of small blocks lived in it over the years. Also has another '67 I paid $400 for, no interior, but ran fine. Sold BOTH in 1990 to start a business. Have regretted it ever since. Wing windows for the WIN!
What a delicious surprise. Dan you have just struck Gold. I too have lusted over a 1rst Gen Camaro since before I could drive. There was a guy who worked part time in High School (and full time in the Summers) at the local Safeway (when their bag boys made as much as journeyman Electricians, Plumbers, etc.). He was 3 grades ahead of me, and I used to walk by his house all the time. (Being 3 grades ahead of me, he barely acknowledged I was alive.) One day he bought a new 396 RS Camaro => Hugger Orange with Dover White stripes with the Console Gauges. Very few teens had new cars (or any car at all) so this was a big deal. I used to see it regularly zooming around the neighborhood, and I always wanted one. I know you aren't big on shiny paint, but if you get one of these to that point, think about going with Hugger Orange with Dover White stripes. Nothing would be cooler!
Those cars are both mint compared to how the Nomad started out.i think depending on price you will have 2 sought after classics . You will have no problem making your money back. Good score!
Here in the states 1st Gen Camaros are GOLDEN. Build them clean, build them right and they will fill your pockets with golden coins when you sell them 🏁😎🏁
Nice find Dan! Couple 3 days you will have one ready to run! Solid, for 50 plus years old. Compared to what you have done in the past, this will be a cakewalk!!
You have everything ya need. Build them both . Keep one sell one. Have ya a ratty one, and a refined one. Either way great score and will bring ya great returns in smile or cash.
Dan build a his and hers Camaro, that would be neat. One automatic and one stick shift, a big block and a small block. I bet that you would make somebody very Happy 😉
cool score got a crazy idea for ya take the "rough one" slap her together because it has glass .put 1 seat in it make it run and drive rent a trailer throw a set of square body springs in the camaro or air bags then haul the nice one home like that bounus points if you shave the sides of your head and rock the mullet the whole way lol.
Good find. These are one of the most desirable cars of that era. Even more so than the corvette. Can’t wait to see the build. Lots of good parts. You’re gonna have a nice Camaro. 👊😎👍
wow! Great find!!! Both Camaros are not bad at all, one being better than the other. I'm really liking these cars, although I'm a Ford guy but first generation Camaros are my favorite Chevrolets besides the 55 Chevies. Wow, not sure what to do with 2 Camaros? Keep the 4 speed car and maybe sell the other?
You've gotta build 'em both, Dan. Super solid finds!
Great score! It's tough to find a Camaro that isn't completely butchered, wrecked or rotted into the ground, but both of those cars look suprizingly good. The revive and drive sounds ridiculous, so I'll be looking forward to the video series on that!!!
If anyone can ,Dan can , Build , revive and drive, it is going to be very interesting, looking forward to it too !!!
Both in damn good shape for be up there, and I think you’re going to have to build them both. One ratty, one complete with nice paint.
They are going for 60,000 bucks if they are nice. It would be worth to restore both and sell one!
When you look at western Canada most of the vehicles aren't terribly rusty, it's too cold for salt to work so they don't use it on the roads

Very happy to see this build. The 68' Camaro SS is my favorite car! Want to watch your progress from start to finish! Go get it Dan! 👍
Just when I thought you couldn't get any cooler ! Can not wait to see this build series !
Wow never expected you to build a first gen let alone two first gens. My favorite cars. Can't wait for this series and thank you so much for sharing. Awesome!!!! Wish I could afford a first gen camaro again but prices are crazy. Will enjoy watching you build.
Pure gold. Looks like you've got two builds on your hands.
I hope you build both cars Dan, I'll be looking forward to seeing every video. 1st gen Camaro is an awesome car and difficult to find and I know one will be a keeper, build the other one for an awesome profit on top of the good content, thanks for the videos 👍👍

Very cool Dan I’m happy for you. You have mentioned many times how you wanted a Camaro. Looking forward to build ✌️😎👋
You've got to be the luckiest man alive. Two 67 Camaros...I've been looking for 25 years for one. Looking forward to this build. Way to go!!
Hey Dan, Great finds. It's going to be different watching you put a first generation camaro together. I loved my camaro's when I had them. With all the parts you have you can build both. It would be awesome if you build both, keep one sell the other
I'm mainly a Ford guy but I guess you could say that I love all muscle car makes. I believe all muscle cars deserve love. Thumbs up Dan.
Those are very awesome finds. Even if they seem to be out of your comfort zone. Build them both how you like. Will look forward to the videos. Andy
👍 I nailed it, Nice package deal, do the metal work on the second one make $$ ✌
Oh man I am really looking forward to seeing both of these cars built 🙌 😍. I think these are going to grow your channel for sure.
And a full set of slot mags..hell yeah
This is awesome! Love the Tri-5’s but looking forward to some Camaro content. I would vote for putting one together as is and selling like you did with the challenger.
I'm jealous! Great find, can't wait to see you build these cars. I think you should stick with the plan to put one together and drive it home. From there maybe do a long term resto, on both, DD style of course.
Build both what a score 👌👍😎🇦🇺
Sweet project Dan, can't wait for the build vids! Good luck on Hotrod tour too.
Had a 1st gen. In my early 20s, sold it when we had kids for a “family car” a decision I regret to this day. Keep the dream alive restoring old iron.
You gotta build both, one for you, one for Dani. No more Tri-fives, Camaro life. Big Block one for you, small block one for Dani. Awesome Brother. Awesome !!
Great score, definitely two car build, one driver, one race car
If you were planning to use the 67 doors on that 68, Bear in mind that 1967-68 doors do not interchange easily. One is a 3 bolt hinge, the 68 is 4.
Please build them both .
Looks like your '67 had the rare option of a folding rear seat. Nice score!
Hopefully you can build em both, flip one and get yours mostly paid for.
"O wow it's a stick car" nope that's your park brake pedal. Lol
Great score. I'm jealous
Hi Dan. I think build two sell one is a good idea. All the parts except for the drive train are there. You're really lucky to found no one, just two almost complete 1st gen Camaros in good shape.
Wow!!! Gold mine!! Couple good builders!! Keep them alive!!
Nice....!!!
I'd be stoked to have those rigs.....!
Got a '65, 327 Chevy to put in one for my Bride....!
I'd love to see that '67 built, looks like it has a lot of potential. Though, with time constraints, I can see how the '68 is alluring. You just have to kinda throw it together. build both sell one is my vote!
Rebuild both and make one for racing and one for driving.
Great find ! My 62 f100 ( yes I said 62 f100 ! has 68 Camaro clip , drives like a 68 Camaro, steers like a 68 Camaro! ( 70’s stuff
They need a ground up restore job very hard to find cars .
It's been a long road. Good to see your commitment and dedication pay off. You have come a long way.
Awesome find Dan! Build both and then sell one.
Build both Dan. Keep one sell the other. Great purchase.
I hope it works out to build both of them. Terrific finds!
Sounds ridiculous Dan… and I love it! You should build it and drive it home. I’d love to watch that series of videos.
You've been talking about a Camaro for some time now. Then, bam, two Camaros!! It will be fun to see what you do with them, for sure. Cheers!!

Awesome score. Please build both.

Hello from Southern Manitoba, I have faith in you Dan. What a series of vids to watch! Go Dan Go! Bombers for the win!!
Build both sell one basically the one you keep is for free except for misalliance parts

Build both. There 2 doors. Money's in the bank💵🤪👍🏻
Put it together and drive it home sounds awesome looking forward to it

Great shopping! Awesome deal ! Not so rough really !
I see a hood scoop in your future. Great find! Congrats!
What a delicious surprise. Dan you have just struck Gold.

I have a 67 rally sport. Can't wait to see this build. Got to save both
I wish I had your ambition Dan . I have to give you credit . Your not afraid to dive right in . 👍
I definitely got wood when I saw the clutch pedal.
Great job 👏
Now that’s awesome can’t wait to see where this goes
You have everything ya need. Build them both . Keep one sell one. Have ya a ratty one, and a refined one. Either way great score and will bring ya great returns in smile or cash.
Choice...What an adventure...Thanks for sharing!
That's a really great find Dan you can build one and sell the second one to pay for the first one , how cool is that.
WHIMP. Don't be a WHIMP! Get the "good" one running and tow the bad one with the good one. Yep, that's right taking it up a notch!!
I think that’s a great idea! Get it going in a few days and drive it home!
Yipee, I love these cars, can't wait for the build !
wow! Great find!!! Both Camaros are not bad at all, one being better than the other.
