Dan, Chevy balancers are notorious for the rubber wearing out between the hub and outer ring. When this happens, the timing mark on the balancer moves. You may want to find TDC on #1 and verify the mark is pointing at 0 on your timing tab.
It is something to see what this came from: 4 dr ugly yellow ruster to a DDSS black hot rod gasser. Go Dan! (The cloud of smoke from the Nomad would do wonders in chasing away mosquitoes.) 🇨🇦
Something so satisfying about rattle can paint. My 66 Caprice has ALL manner of fake spray paint patina. Best part? If I come to hate it? I can spray it again!!! Love it, Dan.

In the states, some gas stations sell recreational gas which is alcohol free. No ethanol. This is ideal for seasonal outdoor equipment and extended storage in gas tanks.
Like I said last video under coarse it and drive it as the new beater hotrod. I think you should toss those chrome reverse wheels it came with back on with fresh tires though cause the black with hoodscoop screams American Graffiti

Dollar tree sells it it’s octane boost and cleans up the water and add a little bit of oil to your gas tank or transmission fluid or marvel mystery oil. This is an old trick for years and years.

You should try clear carpet protector. Comes in 24" wide rolls I cover my windows and all the big stuff..self sticking and peels off easy

I've never seen that happen to HEI coils. I've seen them melt down, but not rust or the button fall apart. Another fun issue!

FYI, Rustoleum flat black turbo cans at Lowe’s here in Cleveland,Oh were 16.00 this am.
As a kid I washed my dads 3 day old Chevy Blazer with ao old rag and an ice cream pail of water. It took him a week to buff the paint back
