I remember this question which was asked 6 years ago, when I landed my first Job. I answered as "The Only Kind". He smiled and gave me a maths puzzle and said "let's see then, solve this and I will hire you right here and now".
Well 6 years later I'm still working in the company and corporate life is fun.

Since I'm retiring next month and unlikely to need this response, I'm sharing this with all of your prospective interviewees. "Your next hire" - this one shocks the interviewer because they don't expect a sentence, just three words. Best of luck to all of you.

@@aditijain5002 You're right that the response is a bit confident, but I think that if I were interviewing someone and asked the same question and got that answer, I'd probably be delighted at the quick wit and take into consideration that the applicant shows a very agile mind.

I've been on both sides of the desk many times in my long career. I was in the advertising business and only once was asked to describe myself in three words. So I said, "smart, creative and immodest". Interviewer (HR person) laughed and recommended me for the job.

I wasn't expecting the job interview aspect. In my younger years, it was "Where do you see yourself in five years." (The best answer I heard was: "If I could answer that I'd already be in a coffin.")
Currently: Old (70), Cynical, and Reclusive. NOTE: I've been a CEO and owned two companies. Someone asked if I wanted a job a little while back. I said; "What do you need doing, I'll tell you if I'm interested". The person said: "That's not how it works, you have to apply." I responded: "We just had the entire interview."

Back in the 1980s I wanted so much to be a press photographer but they were hiring only men..I hopped into the car of the chief photographer of a small newspaper (he was teaching me n 20 other rich guys photography at the YMCA) to take me his newspaper office where I met the editor in chief who asked me "Give me 10 good reasons why I should hire you?" Without hesitation I replied "If u have a murder in the women's toilet who are u going to call?" That caught him totally off guard and he decided to hire me immediately..I went on to become a photo journalist with a couple of top newspapers in Malaysia before retiring after I won Journalist of the Year award in 2017!!!!

My questions as a CEO: 1 - Describe yourself with your own words ( the words come from the brain ) observe if he is sincere / 2 - Doy you have a hobby / 3 - What do you think to do in the future, any plan ? I was once asked by 2 male interviewers "How do you think you'll be able to convince older men that the system you're proposing is worth adopting". As a 30 year old female I replied with a smile "Well I've got a definite advantage over you". I got the job.

I usually act as if I'm surprised by the question, then say motivated, driven. Add a pause, then bluntly say "upfront." Saying "upfront" in that function, gives the interviewer the idea that you are honest, not afraid of confrontation, self aware, and humble all at the same time. Driven and motivated are there to create the idea that it's going to be another standard answer, before delivering with something to catch them off guard. Because nailing an interview, is creating a lasting impression. Been using these three, combined with body language for years now, haven't failed an interview in 15 years.

I like how detailed the videos on this channel are. I appreciate you doing this . Could you make a video about how to become a police drone pilot? Does the police train just officers or anybody who’s interested? Also if I get training privately can I get a job in the police as a drone pilot? Thank you in andvance 🙏
It is certain police officers who get extra training to fly the drones, not civilians.

Answers which are prepared and rehearsed but not the honest yourself. Therefore not what a good HR team should use.
